While originally this was not my first choice of colleges, this past two years has flown by! I am set to graduate in 9 weeks and officially become a RN. This school does not carry a waiting list from semester to semester. It admits two classes each year, a fall class & a spring class. If you enter in the fall, you graduate in the spring and if you enter in spring(as I did) you will graduate in the fall. Make sure to get your application in early, and make sure everything is up to date and right there for them to evaluate. It has to be mentioned here that, from a students' perspective, it is much easier on you as a nursing student if you have all of your core classes done and out of the way. This is not a requirement, but it definitely leaves you more time to study. It is a very challenging program and the clinicals let you practice what you have learned and gain confidence. The instructors are strict and hard, but I feel that I am a better nurse for it. I know that when I graduate, I will be fully prepared to work any unit and be able to function as a contributing asset to the healthcare team.
