swifer sweeper Review

I decided that after having mostly hardwood floors throughout my home that using a regular broom and dust pan was just not cutting it.

I saw the ad on tv for the swifer sweeper! It promises to trap and lock dirt, dust, and yes even pet hair in a canister just like a vaccum and what is missed gets trapped on the dry cloth pad that attaches to the bottom.

Unbelievable! I had to admit that I didn't think it could do that much of a better job than my broom and dust pan, but it sure did! I first did my usual routine of sweeping and then I went over my floors with the swifer sweeper and oh my what a difference that you could really see! Lots of pet hair trapped and the dry cloth pad was filthy! I couldn't believe what the broom and dust pan were leaving behind! I will never go back! I love it!

There is one down side to it however. It comes with a rechargeable battery, which is great because the sweeper is cordless, (love this feature) but the charge will only last about 10-12 minutes fully charged for each use. Having the majority of my floors hardwood this is a downside. If the charge runs out, it takes several hours for it to fully charge again. But overall I do love this sweeper!
