Senseo Coffee Maker —

I received my Phillips Senseo for free through a sharing program. Now they offer the same program if you pay $15 for shipping--and either way it's a steal. The machine itself costs around $70 on average, and the bags of pods can cost anywhere from $4-5 depending on where you get them, but if you love good coffee and expect it with every brew, then this machine is definately worth it.

Since the pods are premeasured, every cup is the same. You never have to worry about one cup being great and the next being weak and/or bitter. There are also several different roasts and flavors to choose from. I like a strong brew, so I usually choose the dark roast, and when I want a little extra flavor, I use one dark and one french flavored (which is a combo of vanilla and caramel).

Cleanup is easy--just dispose of the used pods and wash the parts. Also, there is no carafe, you brew right into your cup, so less clutter and no worry about breaking or damaging a glass carafe.

So, if you are a picky coffee drinker like I am, I highly recommend the senso.
