San Diego, California is a great vacation destination that combines great weather with interesting people and an eclectic choice of foods and restaurants to enjoy. Our reviewers have enjoyed weekend get-aways as well as vacations in San Diego, visiting such locations as the San Diego Zoo, Sea World San Diego, and watching a baseball game played by the San Diego Padres. There are also a lot of other things to see in San Diego too, with many Area Attractions and plenty of San Diego Hotels and Resorts close by. Reviewers also loved the great ocean views, as well as the splendid weather, and all agreed that it is a wonderful place to visit. A suggestion was made to "wear comfortable shoes for the walking", and to avoid the area where there are just "too many cars", but on the whole, our reviewers loved their experiences in San Diego.

I'm a California Native who grew up an hour North of San Diego in Orange County and lived in LA for Four years. San Diego is truly a place to call home. I've never lived in a place with such diversity all within close range of each-other.
San Diego's coastline starting from Oceanside all the way down to Coronado, you will find a wide range of people, scenary, and restaurants. For the more laid back individual looking for the more bohemian likes of San Francisco, try Ocean Beach (O.B.) and just 10 minutes North from there is the College beach town of Pacific Beach, slued with your choice...

I had the chance to visit San Diego for a week. What a great place! Great weather (low humidity, comfortable temperatures), lots of things to see and do, lots of places to eat. Stayed next to Seaport Village, quaint shopping and eating, lots of park. Downtown has lots of park space, and lots of homeless people. However, they did not panhandle or even say anything to you. You felt safe, even walking around at night! There are many cultural things, museums, zoo, etc.
Took in a Padre's game- nice small park, cozy feeling. Visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, very informative...
