I'm a California Native who grew up an hour North of San Diego in Orange County and lived in LA for Four years. San Diego is truly a place to call home. I've never lived in a place with such diversity all within close range of each-other.

read full review »I had the chance to visit San Diego for a week. What a great place! Great weather (low humidity, comfortable temperatures), lots of things to see and do, lots of places to eat. Stayed next to Seaport Village, quaint shopping and eating, lots of park. Downtown has lots of park space, and lots of homeless people. However, they did not panhandle or even say anything to you. You felt safe, even walking around at night! There are many cultural things, museums, zoo, etc.
Took in a Padre's game- nice small park, cozy feeling. Visited the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, very informative...
