I bought this mattress pad when I bought my Sleep Number bed at a Select Confort Storefront.  I was use to a water bed with a heater, so when I went to the Sleep Number bed, I wanted it to be toasty warm.  I have had continual problems with this item.  I have had conversations with their designer, regional sales manager, electrical engenieer, and many customer service. When it was turned on,  It constantly scrambled my tvs and radios, and everyone elses in this subdivision.  They have had to keep improving the designs, so that they wouldn't cause interference. ( It became a mini radio station) .  Eventually, they stop heating after about 6-8 months. They have been pretty good about sending free replacements ( I'm on my 5th one ).  The last one, scorched and burned a hole in my new sheets, the pillowtop of my Sleep Number bed, and all of the plastic connectors to the warming mattress pad.  They replaced the mattress pad, but I didn't even get am "I'm sorry" about the damage to my Belgian pillowtop of my Sleep Number bed, flannel sheets, pillow, pillowcases, pillow protector and,  what about the fire that could have resulted? I could have went to bed, and been burned alive! I see that Select Confort still sells this accessory in their catalog.  Has this product been inproved enough, that there are no more problems?   Buyer beware
