yellowroses says "Love to watch, but hated the writer's strike!" about Grey's Anatomy

I love to watch Grey's Anatomy, though I could do without some of the sexual tones to be honest. (I do watch it with my teenagers; we often review the various scene events and compare it to our beliefs and values. Kids learn a lot about things in life way too early and at least this way, I can help guide them in discussions about what was right and what was not.) I was so looking forward to last season and then the writers strike happened; I hated that! This show has "showcased" a variety of unusual health issues as well as plenty of tender moments in a wide-variety of ways. I am disappointed that Dr. Burke left the show; was so looking forward to seeing how that all played out. I like the "chemistry" that the cast has with each other. The story line is interesting...I keep coming back for...

yellowroses says "Nice pen!....especially when it's on sale!" about Levenger True Writer Metalist Ballpoint Pen

This is a very nice pen! I purchased this in the "Pearl" color for me. I also purchased it in the light blue color for a gift and had it monogramed. (Pearl color couldn't be monogramed; I wanted to monogram mine as well. Because ALL of the barrel colors cannot be monogrammed, that is why I only gave this 4 stars - it is worth the money to be clear.) The monogramming really looks nice and the gift recipient felt it made it extra special. You can even designate if the writer is right or left handed! — I read on their website some product reviews before purchasing, even at the sale price. Most people liked it and would recommend, just a few we not as enthusiastic about this product. Among the comments in those reviews, several people felt that it was heavy in their hands. I must admit it does have some weight and at first wondered about it. It seems that the more I use this pen, the less I notice the weight of...

yellowroses says "The taste is fabulous! You've got to try it!" about Crystal Light - Peach Tea

A friend served this to me at her house a while back. I love Crystal Light Lemonade, so thought this would be good too, but was a little skeptical that it would taste "peach powdery" like many other peach flavored drinks by other companies. I was so pleasantly surprised; this is fantastic! It DOES NOT taste "peach powdery"; its peach taste is so 'on the mark', it's like biting into a fresh, ripe, juicy peach! Crystal Light Peach Tea is my new favorite, with their Lemonade in second place. I also really love the Crystal Light "to go" packets. —...

yellowroses says "LOVE IT! It's totally quiet, easy to read and use!" about New Lifestyles NL-1000 Pedometer

I LOVE this pedometer. It is TOTALLY quiet (no annoying clicking from the inner spring mechanisms that occurs with so many other makers and models)! Its accuracy is great and can even work attached to my bra strap! I chose this particular model because it is great for those with larger tummies, according to my online research. It has a 7 day memory, so you can track your progress easily. It has a metal clip that grips great, but I also purchased the extra security strap, just to be sure; it's wonderful. I can set the intensity levels also; it is VERY user friendly. I would suggest this model to anyone who is in the process of losing weight and wanting to track their steps. It comes in black only; I was hoping for it to come in yellow. This is a can't...

The Temperpedic "symphony" pillows are incredible! They are pricey, but well worth it; the comfort is better than I ever imagined - you MUST experience it for yourself! These pillows feel heavier than normal ones if you pick them up, but they make you feel like you're sleeping on clouds! I would definitely recommend them to anyone desiring peaceful...
