At American Family Insurance you can have a clean driving record and no accidents and or tickets and you still may have to pay a high rate each renewal because&#160;you may have had some hard time in you past finical situation. When calling American Family Insurance I ask why my rate was going up&#160; even after I have had a clean record for driving, and I was told that they deturmain the rate based on you rateing by the three credit burals and any knocks and hard time you may have had in the past are now going to affect the amount that you pay for thet insurance at American Family Insurance. I have since looked for another insurance company and I found three companys that chargs me almost half of the rate that American Family Insurance was charging me.
