workshopwoman says "When you need someone on your side, State farm is there." about State Farm

I have been with State Farm for more than 25 years. I have totaled a car, and had all of the usual occassional fender benders. State farm is fair, consistant, and fast. Never had a need to go somewhere else. You do get what you pay for.
...

workshopwoman says "A Pleasant place to eat and catch up with friends." about Olive Garden - GURNEE, IL

A perfect place to meet friends to catch up. I drove 35 miles north to meet a friend who drove 35 miles south from Wisconsin to the Olive Garden in Gurnie. The staff met us at the door with warm smiles and a clean, neat table for two. Within minutes we had refreshing drinks and menu suggestions.

We both decided on the soup and salad lunch special, which came with wonderfully warm bread sticks and bottomless salad and soup. There were 3 choices for soup, and the soup was piping hot and delicious. We ate and laughed our way through catching up on 10 years passed with little intrusion from our server.

The meal was perfectly timed and our server seemed to anticipate our every need. The surroundings were warm and inviting, and tables were not too close together so that our conversation was private and not distracted by others. Before we knew it 2 hours had pleasantly passed.

In short, we both felt at home. It was bright, and very inviting to "stay a while." The food was great for a reasonable...
...

workshopwoman says "Weight Watchers will teach you how to keep it off for good." about Weight Watchers

Weight Watchers helped me learn to help myself to lose 55 pounds. At 50, I feel healthier, look better, and have learned how to eat wiser without giving up the foods that I love.

The best thing about Weight Watchers is that they teach you how to handle food in YOUR lifestyle. Yes, there is the conveninence foods, and lots of helpful cookbooks and tools if you need them, but most of all there is information and support through their meetings. WW also has a great website (weightwatchers.com) with e-tools for members to figure out recepies and explore new foods, as well as get advice and encouragement.

I have become a lifetime member, through which Weight Watchers will support me for life....meaning I have support to keep the weight off for good! I don't feel like I can't eat sweets, drink beer, or basically enjoy parties because Weight Watchers has taught me how to eat healthier and with balance. I don't diet anymore...I just have learned to enjoy what I eat and make healthier choices.

If...
...

workshopwoman says "This car will last...even in stop and go driving." about Toyota Camry - 1998

I need a car that is dependable and safe. I can't afford to buys cars often so my car had better be able to take the Chicago winters. This Camry has done rmarkable well with repair other than routine maintenance.

The comfort is wonderful. I appreciate the seats supporting my back....I drove 1500 miles with very little discomfort. The back seat is truly a back seat, and can hold adult passengers very nicely. The trunk is very deep and I consider it my "hidden truck bed." The handling is tight especially driving the expressways and the stop and go traffic.

The Camry does need routine maintenance which can be a little more expensive than the average car...BUT this car does not need repairs and is very reliable. My Camry is 9 years old and I have done the brakes and changed the tires and battery. I have done the regular mantenance work, and I expect to get at least 150,000 miles on this car...others have reported 200,000 + miles.

All in all, I am not a car expert. Just a car user. This car...
...
