wolfdragon2004 says "I use it all the time!" about Shop Vac Shop Vac Wet/Dry Vacuum

This wet dry vacuum by Shop Vac brand is awesome. I wouldn't use any other type of shop vacuum than this brand. I used it in high school and I use it now in my husbands mechanic's shop. I clean cars out with this and the shed, I even use it to clean my rabbit cages! It holds 15 gallons of anything and I don't have to switch between nozzles or anything difficult to go from wet to dry or back. I use it in the house sometimes when I just don't feel like going upstairs to get my house vacuum. It is easy to clean and not very heavy, so when I am through, I just upend it over my trash can and if I need to, I hose it down outside and leave it to dry. There are all kinds of attachments I could purchase for it, to do different kinds of upholstery cleaning, but I don't usually bother. The regular buy it from the store accessories it comes with are plenty for me, the average housewife. Or for my husband to use it in his shop.
...

wolfdragon2004 says "My favorite hair product." about Biosilk Hair Serum

This Biosilk Shampoo and Hair Serum is wonderful. I use the shampoo every other day on my curly hair, and it doesn't leave my hair oily but it gives it a healthy shine. It also doesn't dry my hair out if I forget and use in a few days in a row. The hair serum part is also a great skin moisturizer and makes it ultra soft and silky. So now, after using it for a few months, I not only have great hair, but the skin on my arms and legs are silky soft and not as damaged feeling by the sun. I have a light natural tan, but I don't feel dry or leathery like some people feel when they have a tan, or have tanned too much. I care too much about my skin and I want to have beautiful skin and hair when I am old, not look like a wrinkled set of luggage, all leathery because I went to the tanning bed or spent too much time outside without sunscreen. I noticed a difference in my hair after using this product only twice. My hair was easier to brush and I had way less tangles.
...

wolfdragon2004 says "I am extremely satisfied with my crock pot." about Crock-Pot The original slow cooker

My Crock pot brand slow cooker is awesome. It has four heat settings, plus after it has gone through its time for that setting, it switches over to a keep warm function. I make tea in it as well as meals, and it never gets too hot and the tea is always kept at the perfect temperature during parties for serving. It is so handy, I feel very safe in putting food in it and going to work and not worrying about it catching fire and burning down my house, or burning the food inside. Great for busy parents or people who work all day and don't really want to come home and work over the stove to have hot food prepared. Easy to clean too, all I do is run some hot water in it and add some soap, and use my cloth to rub off the food leftovers. Nothing sticks and I don't have to worry about teflon hurting me because it doesn't have teflon in it. It is also big enough to put a roast and potatoes in, at a good price.
...

wolfdragon2004 says "For a laptop, great battery life." about Acer Aspire One

I bought this Acer Laptop at a Radio Shack during a mother's day special for $40. It is a mini laptop, but I quickly got used to the smaller keyboard. I still make a few slips, but it is easy to use. This has an awesome built in wi-fi reciever (which I only know about because the guy at the local coffee shop explained it to me) which lets me get internet for free from my home beause a local shop offers it as a free service to their customers. I can take it on the road and with my internet service provider, can get driving directions while I am driving if I need to. I don't get on the computer myself while driving down the road, that would be irresponsible, but my passengers can. And the kids can play games or listen to music, or even watch movies in the back seat. The battery lasts about 4 or 5 hours with hard continuous use, so a trip will be about the same length as the battery, and I don't have to worry about a movie being cut off or music being subjected to skipping while I drive.
...

wolfdragon2004 says "This is easy to maintain." about Dirt Devil Ultra Vision Turbo Vacuum

This vacuum is easy to use and has multiple settings from bare floor to shag rug. I have used it on both and it does a good job. I picked it out because of the multiple settings and because it is bagless. I don't want to deal with the problems of finding new bags, replacing them, or having to go to a specialty store because my local walmart no longer carries that brand or its accessories. I like things that are simple and easy to maintain. It works well, picking up dirt and small debris without me having to run over the area multiple times or worrying that I am moving too quickly. Even a quick run over of an area picks up that majority of the dirt and pet hair off the floor. It has a clear, bagless area that lets you see it as it sucks stuff up, and makes it easy to remove things that you didn't want to throw away, such as bbs. My kids love to play with those plastic bb guns and they get everywhere. After they play, they are required to take the vacuum and suck them all up so they don't...
...

wolfdragon2004 says "It was a lot of work." about Ice Cream Revolution Camping Ice Cream Maker

Ice Cream Revolution Camping Ice Cream Maker. This was a well advertised Ice Cream maker that was supposed to be easy to use and fun for kids on a camping trip. Well it wasn't easy to use or much fun. It shows a picture on the box of kids throwing the maker and kicking it back and forth to each other. Since it is a hard plastic ball with indentations all over it, it seemed like that would be easier to do than trying to keep a grip on it and shaking it. When you open the box and read the instructions however, it says not to throw, bounce, or kick the ball as it will break. You also have to use a wooden spoon, because plastic or metal will scratch the inside part where the ice cream will come out. It is very difiicult to get the ice cream out, and halfway through the almost hour long process of making this ice cream, you have to mix up the partially formed ice cream so it doesn't stick to the sides and become rock hard. The ice cream it came with was awful as well. It tasted like a wet...
...

wolfdragon2004 says "Its a pretty comfortable mattress." about Denver Mattress Company Telluride

This matress is quite soft and it was advertised to have a new spring system in it. The springs move sideways when pressed down upon, so that you won't have any dips in the mattress over a period of time. If you find that there are dips in the mattress all you have to do is flip it over twice and the impressions are gone. However if you are like me and you have a king sized matress, this is easier said than done. It is heavy and even with two people lifting it is a big job to flip it over. It was reasonably priced, and that was part of the selling point for me. I have had this mattress for two years, and even with the flipping and turning, there are still dips left in it. I contacted the company and they told me that there should be no dips in it and when they looked and saw for themselves, they offered to replace it. I said ok, but then when they came to pick it up, they tried to say it had stains on it and that violated that mattress protection. So now I am stuck with this mattress. The...
...

wolfdragon2004 says "I had shaved ice in 15 seconds!" about KitchenAid KitchenAid Blender

This KitchenAid blender is absolutely amazing! I received it as a wedding present, and I wanted shaved ice for a coctail that I was making. I put the cubes of ice in there and hit the puree button and in 15 seconds I had shaved ice! I was so excited, I've owned several kinds of blenders, but none that actually chopped the ice down that fine! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a high quality blender and buy another if this one should go out. I use it almost every day and I've had it for three years now. I got it from walmart and it is in the upper middle of the price range for blenders, but in this instance you definitely get what you pay for. Spend a little more to get quality and you will not regret it. It doesn't have any model numbers written on it that I can see, but it has a plastic mixing container and the bottom is white. It is heavy, and it has pads on the bottom that grip well. I haven't been able to knock it over like some other brands that I have purchased.
...

wolfdragon2004 says "Best cat litter I have ever used! Absolutely no bad smell!" about Swheat Scoop Natural Wheat Litter

Swheat scoop cat litter is absolutely the best cat litter I have ever used. I have had cats for nearly twenty years, young and old, single and multiple. Never have I found a cat litter that actually did what was advertised and removed the smell. This one did! I stumbled across it at a food lion, they were running a special and I decided to try it. When it gets wet, it clumps cleanly, and there is an odor of fresh cereal. No urine or feces smell, no nasty at all. It smells sweet like cereal, and didn't ruin my taste for cereal if that's what you are worried about. Like grain growing cereal (not breakfast cereal). I certainly don't like to clean my boxes twice a day, and sometimes if I am gone all day, I wait until every other day to clean them. But they never smell and my cats never go on the floor! Even the picky cats that make messes of their litter can't complain about this. It smells good to them too!
...

wolfdragon2004 says "It worked for awhile but then stopped." about Proactiv Solution Acne Treatment

I bought all the Proactive Treatment products recommended to me. The masks, the cleanser, toner, and the lotion. They worked for a few months and then stopped working. The masks were so thick that you were supposed to only put on a small amount, but it turned into so much you had to wash your face several times to get it all off. And the smell! Yuck, I had that smell in my nose for hours after washing it off and couldn't smell anything else. I also couldn't use the products as often as they recommended. I don't have oily skin, and it made my skin so dry I was flaking on my face. It did make some of my scar tissue come off, but how that flaking and dryness is going to be affecting my face later on when I am older I don't know. The lotion seemed to put way too much oil back into my skin, so when I was put on another beauty regimen (through mary kay) I was extremely pleased to see that my skin was finally clearing up. There wasn't any dryness or over oilyness either. I had gotten the moisture...
...

wolfdragon2004 says "I love this makeup remover!!" about Mary Kay Oil free Eye Makeup Remover

The Mary Kay oil-free eye makeup remover is not just for eye makeup. It can be used for any makeup you are wearing and is safe to use around the eyes. It wipes makeup off with one swipe! You can take a washcloth and scrub your face with soap and water and still have raccoon eyes, or you can put a tiny amount on a cotton round and get all your makeup off in a couple of swipes around your face. It truly is the number one makeup remover in my book and since I have discovered it I haven't used any thing else. I was told it was rated the number two in the world, with a french kind being number one, but I beg to differ. Any woman (or man) wearing any kind of eye make up owes it to themselves to try this out. If you don't clean off all your mascara and eye liner, there are tiny bacteria that will grow in it and cause eye infections and skin rashes over time. They are called mascara mites I think. Definitely go to Mary Kay on-line and check out their other wonderful products.
...
