whynot2000 says "Magic Erasers leave spots behind." about Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power

When I first tried the Magic Eraser, I was so excited about how great it removed things from my walls. It cuts through all sorts of things and cleans up the wall nicely. I can do my whole house every month with one or two of them. The one problem I have found is that on my off-white walls, the marks are gone but big smudges replace them. They are especially noticable on my staircase. I have not found a way to remove them. I don't want to have to wash walls after cleaning them with a product like this. I guess it's better to have off-white smudges than the black marks that were there from moving furniture into my home but I would rather have...

whynot2000 says "Great premise for a movie." about American Gangster

I saw "American Gangster" at the recommendation of several friends. I like movies that are about true life stories (such as Catch Me If You Can). The story was based on an interesting premise and that part of it was enjoyable. However, I didn't care for the numerous shots of naked women making drugs. It seemed like that was added to give it more interest for the guys in the audience. I don't mind nudity but it was so often and kind of gross. Also, I didn't enjoy watching people shoot drugs with needles. Once or twice would've been fine but when I can see every pore of the user's skin, it's too close. I would've gotten the idea of what was happening with a more subtle scene. I enjoyed the ending the most. I wanted to hear what happened after the trial and that was provided at the end of the...

whynot2000 says "Great movie for kids and adults" about Enchanted

I saw Enchanted at the theatres with my seven year old daughter. We both really enjoyed it. Some have noted that the beginning is really cheesy. It's meant to be! It is set up that way to show the contrast between Disney animation and real life. I liked how the movie made references to other Disney films. Overall, it is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies. It's the best one that has been released for a long time. I noticed that some people have said that there is a scary dragon at the end. This is really no different than any other disney film. There are "scary" characters in all. One of the other girls who went with us got scared but most of the kids in the theatre seemed just fine. ...

whynot2000 says "Kaplan University provides a great education." about Kaplan University - Kaplan University

Kaplan University is a great place to get an online education. It is possible to study, no matter where you are. If you go on vacation or have to work away from home, you can still get your classwork done. There are great programs that you can study in. I recommend the Legal Studies Program. Students get their education from both reading and doing assignments as well as real time lectures or "seminars" once a week. There is a lot of attention given to students. ...

whynot2000 says "Spirit has great flight deals but expect some limits on service." about Spirit Airlines

I have flown with Spirit Airlines on numerous occasions. I have found great deals on flights online. I once flew from Detroit to NYC for under $100 round-trip. I did notice that there were some cut-backs in service and some additional costs associated with the trip. I had to pay for each bag I checked. I found out later that I could've paid online in advance and gotten a cheaper price per bag. It was $10 per bag. Also, on the flight, passengers had to pay for any drinks (soda/pop, alchol, juice--anything). Luckily it was a short flight! If you fly with Spirit knowing these things, you will get a good price on the flight and you won't be surprised by the...

whynot2000 says "Best cruise and totally worth the money." about Disney Cruise Line - Wonder

I went on the Wonder 1.5 years ago. I was impressed by the friendly staff and cleanliness of the ship. It was geared towards children but had many activities for adults. The child care was fabulous. My child loved it and I had to practically drag her out. She still shows people how Lilo and Stitch taught her to dance. Staff was sensitive to children getting lonely for parents and contacted parents by pager any time it was an issue. The performance staff was great. I had a chance to meet them out of costume and they are an amazingly friendly and outgoing bunch. If I went on another cruise, I would definitely go on a Disney cruise. That is true whether or not I had my child with me or not! —...
