wcmom13 says "Just a laxative as far as I am concerned" about Alli Fat Burner Diet Pills

I have used this product when it was a prescription and treied it agin when it became over-the-counter. Basically, it is just like a quick laxative, as far as I am concerned. If you eat anything with any level of fat in it, it will basically make it pass right out of your body. In other words, don't be anywhere but near a bathroom if you take this and then eat some type of fatty food. Because, the bathroom is where you will be running to. So, in my mind, I seriously don't think it does anything for you. You would be better off occasionally eating something fatty and working it off. Otherwise, you may end up not getting enough nutrients from your food. I think people think they can just go about their day and eat whatever they want to and take Alli and they will lose weight. But, that's not true at all. There is a rigid diet plan that is similar to any other diet plan. So, my thought is, "why waste the money?" You might as well just go on a diet and not have to run every time you eat something...
...

wcmom13 says "Good until it died after 1 year" about SDI - iHome Battery Charger, Docking Station, Speaker System, Clock Radio for iPod (IH5B)

I bought this so we could have a clock in our room and I could have somwhere to charge my ipod. We were certainly not rough on this machine at all. In fact, only myself and my husband ever touched it. But, it broke after about one year of owning it. First of all, it stopped laying and charging the Ipod. The connections still looked fine, but there was no way to get the thing to play or to charge the IPod. At this point, the closk still worked, so we kept it anyway as an alarm clock. But, then a button for the alrm simply fell off one day, so it was hard to shut off the alarm. Then, another button fell off. I cannot understand this at all because it has not been moved off of the bureau and it is not like we hit or something. So, overall I am quite disappointed with this item and have passed the year mark so the warranty is up on the product. It definitely was not worth the money. And, it should have lasted much longer than it did.
...

wcmom13 says "Will never go back" about Toys R US

I must admit I have never once thought anything bad about Toys R Us until I went to go return something yesterday. Now, they have lost a very loyal customer. I bought an ihome speaker for my ipod. I took it out of the box two days ago and went to use it. It worked fine for the first couple minutes and then it just stopped working. My husband came and moved the cord in the back and it started up again, so we just thought the cord had come out a bit. But, then that night when I went to use it again, the same thing happened. It was working fine and then it stopped. I have probably spent about $1000 at Toys R Us in the ;ast couple months and thought no problem, I will just exchange it for a working one. But, I could not immediately find the receipt. But, I wasn't going in looking for cash so I thought it would be no big deal. Turns out they would not even exchange it without a receipt and basically accused me of not paying for it or buying it at another store and trying to scam them by returning...
...

wcmom13 says "It's ok, but I'd rather just eat the regular stuff" about Applebee's Weight Watcher's Menu

I have tried numerous items from the Applebee's Weight Watcher's menu and truly think that it is not relly worth it. I can take them or leave them. I really think most of it is cooked the same way as all the regular stuff on the menu, but they just give you a smaller portion of it and call it healthy. I seriously doubt it is cooked in a separate place and separated from all the fatty oils and grease that get on the grill from all of the other foods on the menu. The one highlight I have to say are the Weight Watcher's desserts. Those are actually very good. Those I would buy because I think they are good poriton-size wise and taste-wise. But, in all honesty, I think it is cheaper to just get the 2 for $20 meal and get a sirloin with broccoli or asparagus and a salad with it on the side. You'll be having basically the same amount of calories, and I personally think the sirloin tastes a lot better than most of the Weight Watcher entrees.
...

wcmom13 says "Works well" about Delsym Deslym 12 hour

My son has asthma and he gets bronchitis very easily. We have a nebulizer and he uses that to make him better, but I hated hearing him cough all the time. My doctor recommended I try Delsym for the greatest relief of his cough. I must say, it has worked well, but I wish it would make him stop coughing completely. That is does not do. So, it is still tough at night for him because he wakes up with coughing fits and horrible wheezing. So, though I think this may be a good cough relief for most people, I am not certain I would recommend it for kids with asthma that get bronchitis of pneumonia easily. For the rest of us though, it seems to do the job very well. The best thing I like about it is that you can use it for both adults and children 6 and up. That pretty much takes care of my whole family. So, that is definiotely a great spect. It can be a little bit expensive, but you do not have to use half as much as with some of the other over the counter medications.
...

wcmom13 says "Not worth buying" about CVS Women's Razors

I have bought both the CVS razors and shaving cream especially when CVS has online bargains for 30-40% off CVS prodcuts and then a coupon to save money combined with that. But, even though I have found the shaving cream works just fuine, the razors are another story. They definitely are a last resort razor in my house. They are truly painful to use. There is either not enough of a strip to protect you from cuts or the razor just does not work right. I have to be very careful when using these razors and often fear that I am goiong to cut myself. They are very straight ahd hard to hold and it it very awkward to shave with them. I have never had the amount of nicks on my legs than I have had with these razors. Becauise I never throw anything away, I keep them as a back up, but in all honesty, even though I like a bargain I value my sanity a lot more. To me, it is just not worth using these lower priced razors because all you end up with are shabbily shaved legs and a lot of unneeded frustration....
...

wcmom13 says "Good Quality, inexpensive" about White Rain VArious shampoos

When the economy first started becoming bad, we decided to start shopping at dollar stores much more often. One of the best products I have found there is the white rain shampoo. You can even find it for less than a dollar often times at WalMart and Target. I use it for myself and also for my children. The children have never had it bother their eyes and they love the smells. I especially love the coconut, but my kids are not too fond of that smell, so we get them another kind, like berry. For a dollar or less per bottle, you do not feel bad about buying more than one shampoo. The bottles are huge so they last a long time and I believe theey clean my hair just as well as all of the pricier versions of shampoos. So, if you are looking to save money, but not compromise on quality, I would certainly recommend both the White rain shampoo and conditioner. It is definitely well woth the price and I have seen great reults while using it.
...

When my son was born, we tried numerous formulas for him. All he did was scream from the time he was two weeks old. The doctor first tried him on Simlac and then Alimentum and then soy. We were very strapped for money and had a horrible time with the Alimnetum because it was so expensive. When we finally decided to try soy, we first used Isomil. Our son did better, but that was still quite pricey. We then decided to try the Walmart r Parent's CHoice version of their soy formula. This worked perfectly. Not only were we able to buy large cans of the powdered formula, but also pre-made cans that we could take with us when we were on the go. It was very convenient and very inexpensive as compared to the other brands. It took a lot of a burden off of us finncially and best of all, our son started screaming less. Eventually, we started using the milk-based Parent's Choice as well and he is fine with regular milk now. This formula was great for us.
...

This program has been a godsend for him. He can do it in his own time. He has the syllabus and all assignements listed out in advance so if he needs to he can go ahead and do work if he will be out of town.m The subject matter is great. The courses are challenging and he has already lerned an awful lot about many subjects. The best part is they have 6 terms a year. He is taking two courses each term and will be able to finsih with his BA Degree concentrating in Business Administration in 2011. Granted, he already had some college coursework, but this is still a very quick way top get your education. All of the professors have been excellnt and answer any questions as soon as possible. They also give you a link to their online library system which is invaluable. lastly, we have started selling back his textbooks and have great luck with that.

I have had the Wii and the Wii Fit for almost four months now. When I first bought the Wii, I was not going to buy the Wii Fit because I had heard many people say it was not worth it. But, I have found it to be very helpful in all of my workouts. I bought several games for the Wii beyond the Wii Fit game that came that all use the Wii Fit and all of them are intersting and keep my attention. The Wii Fit is great to figure out how your balance is. I have had low back pain for years and I have found that I shift too much of my wieght to my right side. The Wii Fit and the game that comes with it tells you if your balance is off and makes you correct it by watching the screen. The personal trainers are also great because it lets you know when you are not doing an exercise correctly because it can tell how you are standing on the board. I have lost several pounds since I started working with this and find that it is both fun an enjoyable. My kids use it and I love it and would recommend it...
...

I have three children and we have had several webkins in my house. I find my kids completely forget which of their stuffed animals are webkins. They do not look forward to going on the computer with their webkins. Come to think of it, I think we have only gone on the computer once to register the webkins. My kids don't seem to find it interesting to have their stuffed animal interact with them on the computer. They are very small and expensive for a stuffed animal. So, my thought is, just buy a stuffed animal. I would rather buy an educational game for either the computer or a gaming system than a webkin. Perhaps it is just my children, but I honestly don't see what is so great about these animals. The frog is cute, but no cuter than any other stuffed frog. If you buy these, just know they will probably end up in a toy box with all the rest of your kids stuffed animals. I just don't think they are worth the money.
...

When my middle son was born, the doctor recommended these bottles. My son cried all the time up until the time he was four months old. He never stopped screaming. They never said he had colic, but that is what it seemed like. Instead they kept telling us it was acid-reflux. So, we bought Alimentum formula and used the Dr. Brown's bottle. I honestly have no idea if they worked or not. My son still screamed all the time and then miraculously when he turned four months old he stopped screaming virtually out of the blue. The bottles seemed okay, but they were awfully hard to clean. We had to keep a wire brush around ll the time to clean the long thin rod in the middle. There was no way to stick them in the dishwasher. Then, it was also a pain to put the bottle back together with a screaming baby. So, personally, I did not find them very helpful. In my opinion they do not work any better than any other bottle out there.
...

wcmom13 says "I hate moon sand" about Moon Sand Toys Moon Sand 2 Disc Refill Set

I am not a fan of moon sand at all. My kids thought it was so cool that was all they wanted a couple years ago. But, you cannot possibly leave a child alone with it. If you ever spill it on your carpet, patio or anything else, it will be there for the rest of your life. The kids like it to a certain extent, but after a while it gets old and they just push it off to the side. If any falls, you are destined to be cleaning it up for hours. It does not sweep up, nor vaccuum up. Somehow my kids spilled it into my welcome mat and I still have green moon sand staring at me every day. I have tried everything to get it out and it just will not work. Personally, I just do not think the minimal amount of time my kids spend interested in this stuff equals the amount of time I have to spend cleaning it up. I have tried putting newspaper all under them, etc. I just cannot find any way around the fact that this product makes a huge mess!
...

wcmom13 says "This game is okay, but you can't play it for long" about Pressman Toys Let's Go Fishin' Game

I find with this game that my kids either get real frustrated or can;t do it at all. It is very difficult to have the string fall into the fishes mouth. If you use the pole like a traditional fishing pole, it is nearly impossible to catch a fish even for an adult. Instead, you have to hold the pole so close to the fish and so rigid that it doesn't become fun anymore. I have a 5, 7 and 9 year-old and the only one who really likes it is the 7-year old. His older brother finds it boring and my 5-year old ends up getting frustrated and yells at everyone when she plays. So, it ends up not being fun for any of us. I do like the concept because it helps with fine motor skills, but there is just something about it that requires too much concentration and effort to be a fun game for small children. I would rather have them play something like Hungry, Hungry Hippos where they can polay and then count, so it is a game and a learning experience. That's just my opinion.
...

We have been using Frontline on our dog for about the past three years. We got her from the local pound and she had all kinds of health issues including what looked like a prior flea-infestation. Since we have had her on Frontline her scars have healed and her skin and fur are healthier. She has had no reoccurrence of fleas and we live in an area where there is a lot of conservation. She has never picked up anything. It is very easy to use and was recommended by out vet. I am very happy with this product for my dog. First of all, we only have to put it on once a month. My dog hates collars and this just goes on her back. So, it is very easy to use. It also dries very quickly so she doesn;t spread the medicine all over my house or onto my kids. Lastly, it does not harm her skin. My dog is very sensitive to every medication and has had some allergic reactions. She has never had a problem with Frontline.
...

We brought our three kids ages 9, 7 and 5 to see this movie last weekend. I was a little nervous because I heard someone say on television that it was "sleazy". I honestly have no idea why someone said that. This movie showed the pure brilliance of Michael Jackson. I was so sad when I left. I felt awful for the people working with him, his family and especially for the man himself. He was such an incredible performer. This also gave me a different impression of him. Not only was he patient, but he was very much in control without sounding controlling. I truly wish the man knew how much everyone loved him. It is such a horrible tragedy that this man had no idea how much he was truly appreciated. I am glad I went and brought my children. It showed them not to do drugs because all of the greatness you have may just be thrown away in an instant. It is too bad that Michael Jackson could not realize what he was doing before it was too late. It was an excellent movie.
...

We have three children. I am legally-blind and do not drive. So, we needed one car that held all of us and was also good on gas mileage for my husband to use for work. We have definitely found it in our Mazda 5. I absolutely love this car. It is like a small mini-van but is the size of a car. The only bad things is trunk space. But, because there are only 5 of us, we can fold down one of the rear seats and expand our trunk for suitcases. We got a DVD installed and my husband and I can listen to the radio while our kids watch the DVD, which is wionderful. There is also storage under the friont seats where we can keep headphones, etc. It may become a little tight as our kids get older and grow, but for now, this is the perfect car for us. It has all the options we wanted and we were able to negotiate a great price. So, it fall well within our budget. This is our fist Mazda and will definitely not be our last.
...

I have tried this Windex and like it because I can use it on all surfaces, not just glass. But, I find that it does not clean glass as well as the traditional blue Windex. It streaks and often times I find I have to go in a particular pattern to make sure the mirror looks right afterwards. With traditional Windex I wipe off the mirror however I want to and it looks clean. I find with this one there is some type of film left that annoys me. But, I do like the fact that I do not have to bring 2 bottles everywhere with me. I find for glass doors and windows it is fine, just not for mirrors. But, I do use it for my three bathrooms. Once you get down the hang of how you have to clean a mirror, it works well. It is tough enough to clean three bathrooms. I have so many cleaners that sometimes I am lugging around a box of bottles from one spot to another. I have used this Windex to clean everywhere including the shower and the marble edges of the shower and have never had any problems with it....
...

wcmom13 says "Hides acne well, clears up skin" about Clearasil Clearsil Tinted Cream

I had a hysterectomy a couple months back and had no idea how much acne would come after that. I am not a huge make-up wearer so the acne was very noticeable. I also live in Florida where it is quite hot most of the time and I hate to wear foundation. So, I bought the Clearasil tinted cream. I only put it on the acne spots. I use a little bit of powder after because the shade is a little off for my skin. That is the only real problem I have with it. The color is a little bit odd. I don;t think anyone's skin matches with it. But, it looks much better than having a huge red pimple on your face. I have found it works real well at both concealing the acne and in drying it up. I have put it on in the morning and by nighttime when I remove my makeup and wash my face, I can see a significant change in the acne. It has dried up consdierably. I would definitely recommend it to those suffering from acne, especially those who do not wear foundation.
...

wcmom13 says "I'd certainly buy it again." about Kraft - Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread

I am always looking for anything that has protein that offers variety. So, I was very excited about trying this new flavor of cream cheese. It especially appealed to me because I felt like it incorporated a vegetable into my day. Now, I honestly have no idea how much spinach or artichoke is actually consumed in a sitiing, but regardless, it makes me feel better. This cream cheese really lived up to the expectation I had for Philadelphia Cream Cheese. I thought it tasted great and it gave me another option of what to put on plain bagels. I only get a 10 minute break during my day and don't have a lot of time to make something. But, by it only takes a minute for me to toast a bagel and put the cream cheese on it. Sometimes, with regular cream cheese, I feel like I am eating dessert (especially since I put jelly to break up the monotny sometime). But, with the spinach and the artichoke flavor, I honestly felt like I was eating a fulfilling lunch. So, overall, my epxerience with this product...
...
