This CSI is better than the others. Not to mean that it is great by any stretch of the imagination. Just better....

What a waste of Jodie Foster's talents. The movie was striving to be cute, and poignant at the same time. Failed at both....

I am a movie buff and go to the movies at least once a week. Vantage Point kept me at the edge of my seat. I haven't felt that way in a long time. The point at first is obvious "the president of the US" is assassinated. Then, the incident is shown through the eyes of various people, and with each one, a small piece of the puzzle is revealed. The actors were superb and the movie should have critical success....

The hoopla surrounding the movie was nonsense. The Golden Compass has ho-hum acting, lazy directing, and the special effects looked amateurish at best. It was disappointing to see that the movie barely followed the book, that the actors barely acted, and that the special effects barely made a mark. By now, we expect much more from a movie. And, this movie did not deliver.
