viewkgr says "It keeps going and going and going" about Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4250

The HP LaserJet 4250 is a great machine. Granted, the only ones you will find out there for sale are refurbished or used at this point, but I decided to review it anyway. I have used this machine on a daily basis for the past four years in my home office. I do a lot of printing and have not had a bit of problems with this printer.

It is a black-and-white printer, with print speeds up to 45 PPM. Instant On Technology lets you start printing with almost zero wait time. I have the optional 500-sheet input tray, so I can load a ream at a time, saving time and energy. There also is an optional 1,500-sheet high-capacity input tray. It supports automatic two-sided printing.

The printer has a 460 MHz processor and from 48 to 80 MB of memory, complex print jobs are not a problem. You can expand the memory up to 512 MB. It has an easy to read LED control panel featuring up to 4 lines of text and animated graphics so you can easily determine printer and job status and correct any...
...

viewkgr says "Trek bikes are the best as far as I am concerned" about Trek 7.3 FX

My Trek 7.3 FX bike is the best. The bike is a hybrid, but as many professional reviewers will tell you, you would never know it. It has an excellent ride on the road. I use it purely for exercise rides. I do not race, nor do I use it for commuting. The bike is comfortable, sturdy and reliable.

The bike is outfitted for comfort with Ride Longer features such a fitness-specific Bontrager Nebula saddle and Bontrager Ergo grips. It is a fitness bike with an extremely comfortable ride. They state that it performs equally well on bike paths or long stretches of open road. However, the tires were definitely made for the open road, not gravel paths. The bike is amazing lightweight and easy for me to handle.

The bikes comes in two different technology options: One is the hydroformed trek alpha black aluminum and the second is the lightweight TCT carbon to optimize vibration absorption.

This is a neat looking bike and I am loving riding my bike once again.

I would definitely...
...

viewkgr says "This great blower has cut my work in half" about Husqvarna 125B Handheld Blower

The Husqvarna 125 gas powered hand held leaf blower combines high power with state-of-the-art ergonomic design. The blower tube is engineered to be in line with the handle, minimizing rotational force on the wrist.

We do all of our own yard work and we are proud of our lawn and garden, but having to rake and sweep up the cut grass and leaves after we were through cutting the grass was adding a lot of extra work. So, I did my research and went out and bought this as a gift for my hubby (and for me!!!!).

Features include:

Inline design: The fan housing is engineered so that the air stream is in line with the handle. This reduces stress on the arm and wrist.

Auto return stop switch: Stop switch automatically resets to the ON position for easier starting.

Cruise Control: Fan speed can be set for easier handling.

Adjustable tube length: The blowing tube length is adjustable for best performance.

Intuitive Controls: All the controls are well gathered and easy to access.

viewkgr says "Grill on the go and enjoy your meals." about Char-Broil Grill2Go Advantage

We won this CharBroil Grill2Go Advantage Portable gas grill and at first, I was a bit skeptical about how it would perform. Assembly was simple and we used it as our regular outside grill when we were shopping for and deciding on a regular size gas grill.

Its features include: open flame grilling, 308 Square inch cooking surface,LED Night light, which comes in handy while camping, folding side shelves with tool hooks and handles, two stainless steel burners, rotary ignition, porcelain-coated steel lid and cast aluminum fire box, removable grease catcher, paper towel holder, onboard storage bin and trash bag holder. The unit folds to 33" long by 21" wide and 20" high.

This little grill does the trick and is handy when you just want to grill a few things, such as a couple of burgers or just some veggies. It also is great for camping, tailgating, and long road trips. As I said earlier, I was skeptical that such a small grill could heat up and cook items properly, but it works well. ...
...

viewkgr says "You can't pay me to get off the couch!" about OTHER Natuzzi Edition Collection Leather Sofa

It had been a long, long time since I had even stopped foot into a furniture store to look at what is available. You sort of get used to what you have in your home and get comfortable with it. But, after all these years, we needed a new sofa, so we decided on the Natuzzi Edition Collection Leather sofa and we have not been disappointed.

This collection is all about relaxation. The tall back envelopes you with a layered back and plush padded pillow arms to cradle your elbows. Double pillow top seating is paired with reclining options to make this the ultimate in motion seating. The sofa is available in either leather or Dreamfibre and the collection definitely invites you to relax, recline and unwind.

We purchased the sofa and matching loveseat in a deep coffee brown and I absolutely love these pieces. They look fabulous. The leather is easy to take care of, and since we often eat dinner in the living room in front of the TV, no need to worry if someone accidentally drops something...
...

viewkgr says "This Gas Grill is the best ever" about Char-Griller The Professional

We purchased the Professional Char Griller -- Grillin Pro Model #3001 and I have to tell you this is the best gas grill out there. We previously had an expensive CharBroil model that consistently failed to heat up consistently and while it looked great brand new -- it rusted out so quickly that they ended up throwing it away because it looked terrible.

This model has three gas burners, porcelain cooking grates for even cooking, 438 square inches of primary cooking surface, chrome plated warming rack which totals 192 square inches cooking area, 40,800 BTU's, adjustable grate for temperature control, electronic ignition and 2 smoke stacks for heating control. It also has a 12,000 BTU Cast Brass side burner, stay cool handle and a removable grease catcher. The 1/2 lb burger capacity is 15. It uses liquid propane and is 42 inches wide and 50 inches high.

Living in Florida, we look to grill year-round and this grill has worked wonders with everything we have tried ... from steaks...
...

I purchased a jar of the Anew Ultimate Night Gold Emulsion, after reading the reviews of the product on this site and the Avon website. Note that all the reviews were basically rave reviews. The Avon website offers a money-back guarantee "Look 5 years younger in 14 days or your money back".

Well, I guess I should get my money back because I do not think I look even one year younger and I have been using the product for 3 weeks. I will continue to use the remainder of the jar, simply because I have paid for it and I do like some of its features, but I would not buy it again.

All my past computers have been Dells. I have found their Customer Service to be superb; quick to assist and quick to fix any issues they could not resolve over the phone.

viewkgr says "Finally, a great product to protect your scalp from the sun." about Nioxin Scalp Shield

Nixon Scalp Shield is a new spray on sunscreen for your scalp. Think about it....how often do you protect your scalp when out in the sun? I never did....until I developed a skin cancer on my scalp two years ago. After having to have skin surgery to remove the skin cancer, I have consistently used a sunscreen on my scalp, but I found that the sunscreens available were NOT developed for use on the scalp, and they made my hair greasy or stiff. Still, I had to protect my head, so my only options were wear the normal sunscreen or wear a hat.

This year, I found Nioxin Scalp Shield with Sunblock SPF 20. It comes in a 3.4 oz. spray bottle; is easy to apply, does not affect my hair at all, and provides the protection I need.

The product is alcohol and residue free and has a pleasant, light scent.

The Nioxin line is famous for its research in hair loss and scalp health, and finally, they have come up with this wonderful product. Who should use it? Anyone who is concerned about protecting...
...

viewkgr says "I'm in love with a toothpick" about MedTech Products The Doctor's Brush Picks

The Doctor's Brush Picks is a wonderful item that I stumbled upon at my local Wal-Mart. This past year I started a regular dental maintenance program when we were able to once again get dental insurance. I have never been a fan of flossing, even though I know it is important.

The Brush Picks are plastic toothpicks with one end shaped like a toothpick and the other end with a soft flexible brush that easily fits between your teeth. This is much better than a toothpick and so much easier to use than floss. Additionally, the container only costs about $2.50. This is much cheaper than floss and lasts longer.

Known as "The World's Best Toothpick", the brush picks are unique in six ways:

1. Safely cleans between teeth and removes plaque without damaging or disturbing dental work.

2. Protects gums with rounded safety tips.

3. Effectively removes food particles, because the tiny bristles get between the teeth.

4. Are flexible and easy to maneuver around teeth.

Every Saturday morning, Purity Products broadcasts an hour long segment on a local talk radio station promoting one of their many health supplements. I am not usually drawn in by infomercials on the radio or television. But driving along on my way to run errands one weekend, the broadcast really caught my attention and I thought this is too good to be true. They were promising that the supplement would increase your energy levels and improve your life. They went on and on about the research they had done and the testimonials they had received. Against my better judgment, I placed an order online that night.

Then, the nightmare began. A few weeks later, I discovered that my credit card number had been stolen (obviously online), and since this was the only purchase I had made online in some time, I was positive that this happened on the Purity Products website. Next, I received my product and started taking the supplement only to find that my energy levels did not were not...
...

After Hurricane Wilma in 2005, we were without electricity for almost 21 days. No air conditioning, no lights, no hot water,no refrigerator or stove.... none of the comforts we take for granted on a daily basis. We looked into the different types of generators and did our research. Portable generators are inexpensive, but you cannot run the entire house on one. Portable generators also have to be kept full of gasoline -- not very convenient. We received estimates on installing an automatic standby generator and the cost was very expensive. We then, broke down all the pieces of the estimate and determined that we could do a lot of the work ourselves, and save over half of the total estimate. We decided to purchase the Generac Guardian Series 30KW standby generator. We ended up purchasing the generator equipment on-line and were able to get free shipping on the purchase, as well as zero sales tax. This was a big cost savings!

We purchased this dehumidifier to assist in pulling the moisture out of the indoor air. Living in Florida, the humidity is so high that it causes the home to feel hot even when the thermostat tells me otherwise.

I am very pleased with the results of using this product. The air is drier and it definitely feels cooler. It has 50 pint capacity and two fan speeds. The dimensions are 15" wide by 13" deep and 23-1/2" high.

I don't know much about dehumidifiers, but this one works like a charm and I am very pleased with it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a name brand manufacturer, and the price was low enough to entice me to purchase.
...

Purchased this grill for hubby one year ago. The pros: It started out as an absolutely beautiful grill. Plenty of room, professional appearance. The cons: Would never heat up very hot. Took forever to cook a steak. The entire unit rusted out in less than 4 months. Very expensive piece of equipment and very disappointing. We recently dismantled it and threw it in the trash where it belongs.

Corresponded with manufacturer via snail mail and email on their website. They were not at all interested in answering our questions or addressing our complaints.

If you want to throw away $500 +, then go ahead and buy it. If not, look elsewhere and choose another brand. I would not recommend this brand or this grill to anyone

viewkgr says "Smooth, great looking foundation" about Cover Girl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation

I received this product free because I am a BZZ Agent and they sent it to me for me to try and review for their website. The first time I tried it, I was unhappy with it because it seemed to go on so dry. Then, I went to the Cover Girl website (as I was supposed to do before trying!) and watched the video where they show you the product, talk about its benefits and show you how to use it. Well, as it turns out, I learned a lot.

For openers, I did not even realize there was a sponge in the bottom of the container which you are supposed to use for application. I also learned that the Olay swirled into the foundation actually makes it easier to apply. The product starts as a dry (solid) foundation, but as you draw the sponge over the foundation and swirl it around, it actually becomes liquid and it glides across your skin. There are anti-oxidants and vitamins in the product, as well as sunscreen.

Next time I tried it, I absolutely loved it. You get great coverage, but it feels...
...

viewkgr says "Surprised ... I Really Like This" about Kraft - Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread

Philly Cream Cheese, flavored and unflavored, has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I love to spread it on crackers for an indulgent snack. I haven't purchased any for quite some time, so this was a special treat.

I have to be honest...it took some time to find this product in stock at the local Publix stores. But, finally found it over the weekend.

I love spinach dip, but wasn't sure about the combination with artichokes. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and this one is a keeper for sure. I can't wait to serve it at a pool party. I think it will be a favorite of the crowd.

viewkgr says "How did I ever get along without this?" about Fellowes Powershred®SB-97CS Shredder

I procrastinated way too long in the decision to buy a shredder for my home office. Because I work with confidential client information everyday, I had to manually tear up the paper work when it was no longer needed. I had looked at the reviews for some shredders in the past and was disappointed.

At year-end, I decided to take another look. I read the reviews for the Fellowes SB 97C and was impressed with what people had to say. I took a look around at prices and found that Office Depot had it for $250. Amazon, however, had it listed for $159 with free shipping. I took the bait and it was in my home office in 3 days.

This model has the Patented Safesense Technology that stops the shredder immediately when your hands get too close to the opening. It is touted as being ideal for heavy duty needs in the small/home office. It shreds up to 17 sheets per pass into cross cut particles. It accepts legal or letter size documents, credit cards, staples and paper clips. A designated...
...

viewkgr says "OUCH, I CAN'T USE THIS PRODUCT!" about L'Oreal Advanced Revitalift Double Lifting

I purchased L'oreal Advanced Revitalift Double Lifting Intense Re-tightening Gel & Anti Wrinkle Treatment after seeing it advertised in magazines. Looked like a product I could definitely use. It is touted as a unique dual action treatment that instantly re-tightens skin and effectively fights wrinkles, combining two exclusive complementary formulas in one application -- a lifting gel and a powerful anti-wrinkle cream.

Application directions are a bit lengthy: Before the first application, tap the bottle on a hard surface and press the pump several times. Press on the center ,as indicated, to dispense enough of the two cremes to apply to both the face and neck. Use every morning and every night on cleansed skin. Discontinue in case of irritation.

After using consistently for two weeks, I noticed that my face had started to sting and burn when I cleansed it. Looking into the mirror, I noticed that I had some rough, red patches from my nose down to my chin. It actually looked...
...

viewkgr says "L'Occitane Cuticle & Nail Cream wins my heart & hands again" about L'Occitane CUTICLE & NAIL CREAM

I don't know about you, but I have had a lifelong problem with dry cuticles. No matter how much hand cream/lotion I use, it seems my cuticles end up ragged and rough and dried out, sometimes to the point of bleeding. And, no, I do not live in a cold climate. Therefore, this is a year long issue.

I was in an airport on my way to a business trip with an hour to kill. My cuticles were really ragged, and I thought gee, I wish I had something to put on my nails right now. Of course, I had emptied my purse in anticipation of going through security at the airport. So, I wandered through the airport and saw a L'Occitane store, I went in and asked if they had anything for cuticles. They provided me with a tube of the Shea Butter Nail & Cuticle Cream. The tube is small (.52 ounce) and retails for $18. A bit pricey, or so I thought! But, I needed something, so I purchased it.

This stuff is amazing. It contains Shea Butter, anti-oxidizing carrot oil, softening honey and anti-bacterial...
...
