viewkgr says "Finally, a tasty fat free milk." about Smart Balance Fat Free Milk with Omega 3's & Vitamin E

This new product manufactured by Smart Balance is currently only available in Florida and Georgia. For your sake, I hope it is available everywhere soon. — I like to buy fat free milk, to avoid adding more fat to my diet. However, when you buy fat free milk it normally tastes so watered down. It is yucky. This Smart Balance Fat Free Milk is really rich and creamy. Tastes wonderful with cereal and is great for cooking sauces. — It contains more calcium and protein than standard skim milk as well as valuable Omega-3 oils and Vitamin E. Only 100 calories per one cup. Also listed in the nutritional information: 5 mg cholesterol, 150 mg sodium, 14 g total carbs, 10 g protein, 10% of the daily requirement for Vitamin A, 35% of the calcium, 25% of the Vitamin D and 170% of Vitamin E. I love the taste. The price is right and this product will replace other brands of milk in my household. I would recommend this...

viewkgr says "One heck of a great pan. I love it" about Wolfgang Puck Bixtro 11" Covered Saute Pan

Needing a new fry/saute pan, I was checking out the homeware aisles at some of the local discount stores. I found this Wolfgang Puck Bistro 11" Covered Saute Pan, on sale of $17. It retails for $40. What a bargain. — The great Wolfgang Puck brand. High quality with deep sides so it is large enough to hold a lot. Made of stainless steel for durability and consistent cooking results. It has an encapsulated aluminum disc in the base that gives you more even heating and cooking. You can actually cook using lower than normal temperatures. It also has a tempered glass lid so you can see what's going on inside the pan without lifting the lid. It also has stay-cool handles, is dishwasher safe (however, they recommend hand washing), is oven safe to 400 degrees even with glass lid and a limited lifetime warranty. — Being able to buy it at less than half price was great. But, what's even better is the...

viewkgr says "Doesn't work as well as I expected" about Scotch-Brite Stainless Steel Cleaner

We have a stainless steel refrigerator, oven/range, dishwasher and a built in microwave oven, as well as a countertop microwave oven. Having all that stainless in the kitchen, I was looking for an easy and good way to clean the appliances, remove fingerprints and stains, and add a nice shine. — I purchased the new Scotch Brite Stainlesss Steel Cleaner, which consists of a plastic handle and refillable premoistened stainless steel pads. You attach the pads to the handle (similar to how the Swiffer products work), and then go about your cleaning. Since the product is manufactured by 3M, I was hoping for good results. — I am not impressed with this product. It is okay for going over the front of the refrigerator, but for the most part, I had to remove the pad and just do the cleaning without the handle on the stove, dishwasher and microwave. It is too large to effectively work on the smaller appliances. — They advertise it as...

I broke down and purchased an Oreck about 15 years ago. I have never been disappointed with the unit, and the service is fantastic. — First of all, it is lightweight and I can easily pick it up and carry it from my master bedroom closet all the way around to the other end of the house to my home office. It picks up better than any other vacuum I have owned. I absolutely love to use it. I also like it because you do not have to adjust it when you move from a carpet to a bare floor. — They recommend you take it in for a tune up every 3-6 months. At first, I did that. The Oreck people are fantastic. They clean the unit, change the belt, etc. They are very nice and always offer to carry the unit back out to your car. After a couple of years, I stopped doing the tune up thing and just purchased some extra belts and replaced them myself. My unit has performed just as well after all these years. ...

viewkgr says "Lower your salt intake, lower your blood pressure." about Nutrition 21 Cardia Salt

My significant other suffers from high blood pressure. He also loves salt. The result: something had to give. — He loves salty foods, and I swear he could live on pepperoni, hot dogs, sausage and other high sodium foods. He salts his fresh tomatoes and slices of watermelon. Short of going on a very restrictive diet, there is not much you can do about processed foods. You can, however, take a step in lowering your sodium intake as far as the "salt" you add to your meals. — That's where Cardia Salt comes in. It has real salt taste and contains 54% less sodium than regular table salt. It comes in 4 ounce shakers and is very convenient to place on the table. I don't even buy regular table salt anymore. The product also contains potassium and magnesium, which are essential minerals. Because it contains potassium, it should not be used by persons on potassium restricted diets unless approved by a...

viewkgr says "I could stay in the shower forever... love this stuff" about Olay Spa Exfoliating Ribbons Body Wash Plus

This is a new body wash that Olay actually sent to me to try free of charge. It is Olay Body Wash with exfoliating ribbons of seaweed extract built right in. Think of high price day spas...they all offer seaweed wraps and exfoliators. The lather is out of this world. It produces an extremely luxurious, creamy lather with a great fragrance. It removes dry skin cells and smooths your skin and it is gentle enough to use every day. — This is NOT one of your hard core exfoliating scrubs, but it has the great smoothing results and it feels so wonderful. My husband commented that I seem to be spending longer in the shower every morning. Well, I guess so. I might as well experience a little bit of heaven before I start my day! — I used to swear by Caress Body Wash, but, alas, Olay has captured my heart and my body. I would recommend this body wash to anyone and everyone. It has a very light and clean fragrance...

This conditioner is a great lightweight conditioner that does not weigh down my hair, but instead makes it shiny and manageable. It has a nice, light fruity fragrance. And the name of the conditioner is correct, because this product does contain papaya, mango and awapuhi fruit extracts. — Because I have long hair, my conditoner must be good at detangling hair. This one does the trick. I find that I can run a comb all the way through my hair after I step out of the shower. No tangles, no ouch. — This product is inexpensive and it works. It smells great, it doesn't leave a filmy residue on my hair, and I would recommend the product to anyone. —...

I switch out my shampoos and conditioners weekly, because I have very long, thin and fine hair, and I have found that switching between several shampoos and conditioners keeps my hair looking and feeling best. This week I am trying out the Sunsilk Daring Volume Shampoo for the first time. — I love the fruity fragrance. It is a very fresh and clean scent. I also like the way it lathers up and rinses clean easily. I have not noted any residue build up. I have, however, noticed a nice sheen, softness and bounce. These are all qualities I am looking for, so I am a happy camper with this shampoo. — This shampoo will be a part of my rotating hair care regimen in the weeks to come, and I would recommend this shampoo to anyone looking for a shampoo that adds body and bounce. —...

OK, I had a severe attack of heartburn this morning, and luckily for me, I could reach for my little Prilosec tab to ease the awful pain. I probably only have heartburn one or maybe two times a month, but when I do, it is severe. — After taking this over the counter med, the pain is gone in less than 10 minutes. I have never had an episode that Prilosec didn't handle. Therefore, I can truly say that I rely on Prilosec to ease the pain, and I keep it handy in my bathroom cabinet as well as on my office desk. — It is a little pricey for a package, but then I only have to take it once or twice a month, so a package lasts me a long while. Woe is me if I am away from home and don't have any in my purse. — I have to agree with the reviewer who wrote about how difficult it is to get the dosage out of the foil packets it comes in. You have to try to peel away a layer of paper and then punch the pill out of a foil packet. I wish they...

This product is a God send. Since I have long hair that is half way down my back, I have to wrap my hair after a shower, or my clothes will be soaking wet when I get dressed. I do not use a hair dryer, as I prefer it to air dry. When I get out of the shower, the first thing I grab is my Aquis towel to wrap my hair. The material is sort of nubby so it is easy to wrap and go. If I try to wrap my hair in a regular towel, it is constantly coming loose and falling off. This towel stays put, until you remove it. And in the time it takes to get dressed, the towel has absorbed most of the excess moisture from my hair. — I do not know what the manufacturers did to make this towel special, but whatever it is, it sure works wonders. If I were to use a regular towel to wrap my hair after a shower, it would take hours for the towel to air dry. The Aquis hair towel dries quickly, and can be put away in a cabinet for the next...

This product is touted as being more effective than the leading scrub, without damaging your skin. It exfoliates and refines, and helps your pores breathe a little easier. With 50% more gentle exfoliating spheres, this creamy, oil free formula exfoliates better to give you the unclogging power you want without the irritation. Gentle enough for daily use. — I received a gift card for a facial at a local day spa and I finally got around to using it about one month ago. After the facial, my skin was clean and soft and I wanted to keep it that way. So, I purchased two new cleansers, one a daily gentle foaming cleanser by Olay and also this Biore product for exfoliating several times a week. Since I live in a very sunny and hot area, I have to worry about dirt clogging my pores after a spell outside working in the garden or a long walk on the beach or bicycling through the parks. When you get hot and sweaty, you know your pores are...

This shampoo made by Organix is organic with natural ingredients including organic coconut milk, egg white proteins and coconut oils. It claims to nourish your hair, add strength and elasticiity, as well as hydration and balance. — Does it perform? Well, it smells heavenly. When I step into the shower in the morning and lather up, I am transported to a tropical island. I love the scent, and I love the way it lathers. I can say my long hair is soft and the scent is not over-powering, so you do not have to worry about walking around smelling like coconut all day long. — Is the shampoo any different than others? Who knows. But I like the way it performs, And since I switch out my shampoos weekly, this one will be in my mix for a long time to come. I will continue to purchase it because I do like it. — Organix also sells a nourishing coconut milk anti breakage serum, self-heating coconut oil to heal your...

After I purchased my stainless steel/ceramic cooktop range and oven, I soon discovered that keeping the ceramic countertop clean was not going to be an easy task. In fact, at one point, I even regretted buying a new stove with a ceramic cooktop! — Then, I discovered Cerama Bryte glass-ceramic cooktop cleaner. This stuff is amazing, and even when my husband cooks and lets the pot boil over....I am comfortable that I can easily clean up the mess and make my stove sparking clean again. It quickly and safely removes stains from ceramic cooktops. It is safe for all radiant and halogen cooktops. It is recommended by GE Appliances. Safe for use on GE, Amana, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Hotpoint, Kenmore, Admiral, Maytag, Tappan, Viking and Jenn Air cooktops. It is also great for cleaning faux marble, stainless and porcelain sinks. It has a fresh lemon scent and is not harsh on your skin. I feel confident that it will not...

I received this product free from Clorox, when it was first released to the public. Prior to this product, I had used the old standard toilet brush along with a specialty toilet bowl cleaner. We all know that was a good way to clean the toilet bowl, but very unsanitary to have that brush sitting around after your task was accomplished. — The Clorox toilet wand consists of a stick and throw away pre-soaped scrubbers that easily attach to the wand. The wand and its accompanying stand is nice looking, and it includes a storage unit for the pre-soaped scrubbers that you use with it. It fits easily into my bathroom closet. It does a wonderful job, and the best thing is that you do not have to worry about having a toilet bowl brush laying around with all its germs and bacteria. — The pre-soaped replacement scrubbers are inexpensive. The product is functional and easy to use and to store. It is durable, and while one...

One of my favorite childhood memories is of our family's trip to the soda pop store. This was a mom and pop store where they sold nothing but soda pop, and it was so delicious. You just picked up a wooden crate that held about 24 bottles and then you walked through the store and picked up whichever varieties you wanted. You could mix and match all the flavors to your own liking. — Recently, I was introduced to Virgil's Micro Brewed Root Beer. They promote their product as a gourmet root beer. "We are what Ben and Jerry's is to ice cream, what Dom Perignon is to champagne." Virgil's is a micro-brewed root beer made with all natural ingredients. They use herbs imported from around the world and pure unbleached cane sugar. This beverage won the International Fancy Food and Confection Show's Outstanding Beverage Award in 1994, 1996 and 1997. — Check out the ingredients: Carbonated water, unbleached cane...

We went with AllState after moving to Florida. The agent offered me a decent rate and her office was convenient to my home. I was satisfied. After all, All State is a reputable company, right?? — Wrong! After six months, the agent called to inform me that the automobile rates were going to triple. We had filed no claims. She said they were changing the subsidiary of All State that wrote coverage in this area. — Sorry. That was enough to turn me off completely. Even though my own brother is an All State Agent, I would never give my business to them again....

viewkgr says "No Complaints, but filed no claims either." about AIG

We have had AIG for auto insurance for about five years now, and I have no complaints. Their prices are very competitive. My experiences with Customer Support Staff have been positive. I have to admit that we have not filed any claims with them, so I cannot review them on that aspect of their services. — I pay my bills online with AIG which is quick and easy with no hidden fees. I like the fact that I can go online and check details of my policies at any time, without having to dig through my paper files, or place a phone call. — I have dealt with Customer Service staff when I was making changing to the policies, adding a car or deleting a car, and changing coverage. The Service staff were courteous and performed the changes without any errors. — I had State Farm and AllState prior to AIG. I would never go with them again. State Farm cancelled our coverage when we moved to Florida, just because they no longer...

The first part of the movie was very good, as it shows what was going on in California during the oil boom. People like the one Daniel Day Lewis protrayed were really taking advantage of the poor farmers in California. They bought up their land for $5 an acre and then drilled for oil, got rich and laughed all the way to the bank. The story line grew weaker throughout the movie. The character that Mr. Day Lewis protrayed grew sicker and sicker mentally, and he treated all human beings as dirt. The end of the movie really threw me for a loop. This could have been an excellent movie if it centered on the oil business and left out the trash about this mentally ill man. — I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, as I fear you will be disappointed. — ...
