veronica25 says "money,money,money,money.........." about Allstate

Allstate makes promises it never seem to keep. Where are my safe driving discounts. I have never had a ticket or an accident. NEVER. I dont see a return on my clean driving record. As far as reliability with claims, I dont know. I have never filed a claim....

veronica25 says "Perfect stocking stuffer" about Ratatouille

Just saw this movie on DVD this weekend. What a surprise. I wasnt really impressed when I saw the previews for this one. No big name voices in it, but it grabbed me right of the bat. Subtle humor, great story, great writing. This one is great for adults, and the kids will love it too. Really a perfect stocking stuffer. —...

veronica25 says "Meet Mr. Personality" about Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe

If you dont have a good sense of sarcasm you wont get Mike Rowe. This show isnt so much about the dirty jobs as it is a joke played on Mike Rowe and you get to be in on it. His approaches dont differ much from show to show but he is highly funny and smart and worth listening to. He knows hes being laughed at and behaves in only a mildly annoyed manner. This show is absolutely a winner in my book. One of the few reality shows worth...

veronica25 says "Surprising" about Brokeback Mountain

OK, I'll be honest. I went to see this movie because of lurid curiosity and all the hype surrounding it. Boy was I surprised. At some point during this movie you forget all about the fact these are gay men and you get completely wrapped up in their lives. This is an original love story and its not just your average chick flick. My husband is a muy macho guy but was incredibly impressed by this movie. The scenery alone was worth the price of a ticket. This story keeps you rivetted and rooting for all the unrequited lovers. Great date...

veronica25 says "Still LMAO!!!!!!" about Stephanie Plum Series

She certainly paints a picture. I'm a native New Yorker who hated living in Jersey until I started reading these books. Janet Evanovich makes you want to be a Jersey girl with sand between your toes and maybe even make your hair a little bigger. With each of these books you find yourself salivating for the next. Their funny and so easy to visualize you actually find yourself thinking her characters are real. The Stephanie Plum series have been such a treat, almost as good as chocolate. Her books are funny and sexy. They have murder, mayhem, mystery and a gun-toting grandma like you've never seen. I have been known to reread them from time to time and find they are still as good as the first. Start with one and you'll be hooked. —...

veronica25 says "Strong enough for a man, fits a woman's hand" about Black & Decker Mouse Sander/Polisher Kit

It Fits!!! I love working with tools but being a woman I frequently find that most tools are not designed for someone with hands my size. This little sander is a miracle it is so easy to use and maneuver. I have completed several projects, from refinishing a lovely pine roll top desk to redoing the stairs on my backyard decking. This sander comes with lots of little attachments that help you get into hard to reach and oddly shaped areas. I also love that I dont have to replace or recharge batteries so I can work on a project all day if I want to. The price was perfect and was actually recommend by a female salesperson who understood exactly what I was looking for. The only problem I have run into with this machine is that I wont let my husband use...

veronica25 says "Disappointed." about Dyson DC07 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

This product was really great for about 6 months. Now I'm looking to purchase something new. This vacuum is kind of clunky not great for maneuvering tight areas. It comes with attachments that work well until the hose cracks, then its time to break out the duct tape. I'm not a neat freak. I vacuum twice a week, maybe. These days I really dread breaking out this machine and more often than not find myself grabbing a broom instead. I have one large area rug in my living room, the rest of the house is hard wood, but what should be a three minute job becomes twenty when I need to vacuum this rug. I have disassembled this machine looking for clogs and there are none. This vacuum simply has less and less suction over time. Vacuuming the carpet is a nightmare and doing the hardwood isnt much better. I can repeatedly vacuum over a one inch piece of paper that will simply not be sucked up. I spend more time bent over picking things up by hand....
