vegasandcasi says "Part of my everyday routine!!!" about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Complexion Make-up

I've been using Bare Escentuals make-up for 5 years now. I love the natural look and never wore a lot of make-up. Most of the time make-up felt too heavy, cakey or slimey. Cream foundations don't breathe well. I noticed my mother's skin looked so fresh and bright. I asked her what she was using for make-up because it made her look 10 years younger. She told me about an infomercial and said she made a purchase from QVC for the starter kit. At the time our skin tones were similiar and she applied the make-up to my face for me using a swirl, tap and buff technique. I saw the results and was completely sold! I have worn Bare Minerals make-up ever since that day! The make-up is so lightweight I don't even feel it on. It's a nice change from cream foundation to powder. I have sensitive skin and don't like the fragrance of other make-ups on the market. It's pricey but completely worth it! My make-up tip: Bare Minerals comes in little pots and you pull a sticker off...
...

vegasandcasi says "The Sense & Spray by glade smells great!" about Glade Sense and Spray (Automatic Spray)

I recently acquired a Glade Sense & Spray with the clean linen fragrance. It requires two double A batteries then just place it in a busy area of your home and enjoy a wonderful burst of fragrance. The Sense & Spray detects motion and releases a scent. There is a lock on the unit to keep it from releasing scent again for a 1/2 hour to avoid waste or you can press a button and enjoy the scent as often as you like. I have to admit its a neat little gadget. I wish I had the option to select a longer period of time between sprays. Also, it is a very pleasant fragrance but it is very concentrated and a little strong for my tiny bathroom. I can smell it all throughout the house. My last complaint is we had to move it off the back of the toilet because my husband was getting sprayed in the head when he would sit down. Glade prints coupons in local newspapers for $4.00 off the purchase of a new unit. I think overall its worth it.
...

vegasandcasi says "Great camera for the budding photographer!" about Nikon - D60 Digital Camera

I own a Nikon 35mm SLR camera and I am a hobbiest photographer. This Nikon was my current dream camera. I mentioned to my mother that I would love to have this camera and since she was in the market for a digital camera she went out and bought it. She was glad not to have the hastle of comparing. I have honestly used it more than she has. It is similar in design to my 35mm so I felt comfortable right away with using it. I must say there is so much more to this camera then just using it like you would a point and shoot camera. I love that I can use it on manual and reset it easily so mom can use the auto function. If you plan to buy this then you need to get to know it. Your pictures will be so much better if you are familiar with the equiment you use! I have now photographed a wedding using this camera and was pleased with the stunning results. The Nikon D60 is user friendly but is not simple to use; by that I mean this would be pretty intimidating for a...
...

vegasandcasi says "Flip Ultra is must have for capturing memories" about Flip Video Camcorder

My husband gave me the challenge of choosing a sweet 16 birthday gift for his daughter. I myself was interested in purchasing a Flip Ultra video camera to carry in my purse to catch video of fun times with family. I loved the small, portable design and the trendy colors. I loved that it uses 2 double A batteries instead of a rechargable battery. I also appreciate the USB arm that flips out of the side for easy connection to my computer. I use a Mac and have no problems creating great quality video in Imovie. The picture quality is stunning, I have an old analog video camera and it does'nt even compare! I bought it for my step-daugher's birthday and she is so happy with it. I even bought one for myself!!! I love the underwater camera case- it is the perfect accesory for me since we love going to the beach. It stayed completely dry and no sand got on the camera. This is definitely something I recommend.
...

vegasandcasi says "Don't want to live without it!" about Apple - iPod Touch

I've tried everything. I had a Sony MD player, an MP3 player and even an IPOD classic before I was able to save up the money and make the purchase. I've had my Itouch for one year and have never been sorry I made the upgrade. I still had a warranty on my Classic and was able to return it to Circuit City. I got the 8 gig but would recommend more if you can afford it. I fit all of my music on it so far which equals 1200 songs. I tunes offers free apps and I purchased some cool apps also. I still have plenty of space for additional music, photos, movies or podcasts. One thing to keep in mind is the shiny finish will scratch terribly! The day you buy one I recommend choosing a nice case for it and as soon as you remove it from the box put it in the case and leave it there. I also don't like all of the fingerprints on the screen and even though the Itouch comes with a microfiber cloth, I still reccomend getting a stick on screen cover. I bring my Ipod everywhere and the...
...
