usckatie says "The ONLY way to go to diaper a newborn!" about Pampers Swaddlers

We used Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Babydry, and Huggies newborn at first. Pampers Swaddlers were the way to go! My son got diaper rash with any others. They need changing so often in the beginning, you have to have a good, absorbant diaper. Diaper rash went away when we used Swaddlers. The weave makes all the difference.

Yes, the are expensive. But, watch out for coupons and sales. Buy the value boxes. I got a really good deal once when I bought a value box on sale and had a coupon on top of that.

When your baby starts getting bigger than the size he's in, you will know. My son always leaked poop and I knew it was time to move up a size. Always worked. I like that there are in between sizes too. I have a big baby and he'll need size 3 before he's needing cruisers, so I am thankful for the size 2-3.
...

usckatie says "Easy, snug, and safe seat!" about Chicco KeyFit

We decided on the Chicco Key Fit travel system after trying out several strollers in a big baby mega store. It was probably the most expensive, but after reading the reviews, we decided it was worth it. Ended up being a gift from family, so it worked out well.

I loved the newborn insert. It says it goes till 11 pounds, but we used it past that. My son is now 16 lbs and we still use the headrest. Just seems so comfortable for him. The car seat is our magic sleep machine. He's so cozy in it, he's asleep in minutes. Even if we just put him in it at home and rock it back and forth! He loves his car seat and will smile at me as I'm putting him in every time!

I love the pull to tighten function. And the bubble on the base makes it easy to tell if you had it installed correctly. My only problem with the carseat and base is that the base has the orange outline, while my system has the red outline. No big deal though.

So far, we have only put the carseat in the stroller to stroll the baby. But it...
...
