umbowers says "If only it stayed in place better." about Bounce Dryer Bar

I got the Bounce Dryer Bar through the ViewPoints sample program and have been using it for about a month or so. The first few weeks, it was great. Every load smelled wonderful and I no longer had a problem with static cling. After about three weeks of using the Bounce Dryer Bar, I heard something clunking around in the dryer. It was the Bounce Dryer Bar. The sticky part that was supposed to hold it in place had let go and the whole thing came off. I have tried to stick it back on, but it's no use, it just will not stick anymore. However, I love the smell and the way static cling is no longer a problem, so I still am using it. I just throw the bar in the dryer and let it bang around. The sound gets a little annoying, but there is not other way to use it up. I think Bounce should include a replacement sticky, just in case the one included lets go. It really can't be that exensive for just the little sticky square on the back of the holder.
...

umbowers says "A product that really works!" about Avon Clearskin Professional

I have had acne problems since I was about 12 years old. I have battled not only small blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples, but huge outbreaks and sits almost 1/4 inch in diameter. Over the years I have tried just about everything including generic over the counter solutions, brand name over the counter solutions, acne solutions advertised on television, and even prescription medications from my family doctor and dermatologist. While some things didn't work at all, some did work better than others, but nothing really worked well. Clearskin Professional has been the first product I have ever used that actually showed signs of working within three days! In less than a month my acne was almost entirely cleared up. Within six weeks I was able to go get the photos I have posted with this review taken, and as you can see, my skin looks great! Clearskin Professional costs between $20 and $30 depending on the sales available. The products in the acne kit can be purchased individually. However,...
...

umbowers says "Great value!" about Belkin Belkin Wireless-G Broadband Router

I purchased a Belkin Wireless-G Broadband Router at Wal-mart a few days ago to share my cable internet with my mother. I took about a minuet to hook up to my computer and about another minuet to install on my computer. Once we realized that my mother had to go back out and buy a wireless adapter, and intall it on her computer to recieve the signal, the Belkin Wireless-G Broadband Router worked instantly. It would have been nice if the box stated clearly that any other computers needed an adapter to recieve the signal and that an adapter was not included. It would also have been nice if there was an option to buy the adapter needed along with the router in the same package. My mother's computer is about 50 feet from mine and she has had no problems using her internet, though she has not attemptd to upload/download anything yet. I would suggest this product for those who want to share an internet connection in their home and who know for sure that their other computers have either an adapter...
...

umbowers says "This printer was not worth buying" about Lexmark 1320c

This printer was not worth the gas to get to the store to buy it, let alone actually buying it. It used up ink very quickly and replacement ink is anywhere from $18 to over $40. Plus, within a few months it would not feed paper into it right. It started feeding paper only from the right corner of the paper and would not grab the left corner of the paper until the page was already half in. The prints came out crooked and unreadable, or not at all from the paper jamming from the paper loading crooked. I contacted technical support and they had me tear it apart and clean it and swore that was the only problem. However, after tearing it apart and cleaning it, and then re-assembling it, the same problem still existed. I contact technical support again and all they kept telling me was to keep cleaning it, I must not have cleaned it right the first time, or that I must have put it back together wrong. They never did admit that something was wrong with the printer, and insisted I must be why...
...
