      <description>I love OkCupid.&#160; It's incredibly interactive and conducive to not only meeting potential partners, but connecting to new friends.&#160; I have developed some really close relationships with people, some who I've never met in person but keep in contact with the journaling feature, and some who have developed into almost-weekly hangouts.&#160; I met my new roommate on there.&#160; Its name indicates that it's for dating, but I've found that the people and the site's founders are very flexible and very fun.&#160; There are many activities and ways to interact with people.&#160; They have user-organized meetups.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Honestly, I can't imagine spending money on some formalized &quot;scientific&quot; internet dating site.&#160; Develop connections on your own terms and let them happen naturally.&#160; OkCupid is perfect for that (however, not without some flaws, but hey, it's free... and the staff is incredibly accessible for when you want to address these issues).&#160; I love it and plan to use it even when I find my future partner.&#160; I've...... </description>
