trruck says "Love the look, but RIP!!!!" about Rock and Republic Jeans

I really like designer jeans and when Rock and Republic started selling at Bloomingdale's I had my eye on them. I usually only buy designer when it goes on sale, but these jeans had the awesomest color to them and they looked amazing that I was willing to pay the price tag. First of all, Rock & Republic Jeans are made for giants. They are so so long. I am 5'5 and I had an excess of about 8 inches that would fold over. Usually when I have long jeans I wear really high platform shoes or heels, but unless I had stilts it would not do with these jeans. Eventually I had them hemmed and could were them without looking ridiculous... but the hemming added $16 plus tax to the price tag. It didn't matter.... I looked beautiful and smokin hot in the jeans. They had a tight worn feel to them as if they had been washed several times. But this ended up resulting in Valentine's Day disaster. My boyfriend had come to my house to pick me up to go on our Valentine's Day date. I was wearing...
...

trruck says "Breville Juicer is great for a quick juice" about Breville Juicer - Juice Fountain

When I got engaged, part of the wedding preparations involved registering for gifts. I must say this was a lot of fun =) As we were meandering through the kitchen appliances I spotted the Breville Juicer-Juice Fountain. My mom had a juicer and I used it once every 4 or so months before I got married. This one looked nice and modern compared to the one my mom had that was all white and would get stained from all the carrot stuff. Well we did end up receiving the juicer and I was excited to start using it once we came back from our honeymoon. I usually only make carrot juice. Whenever I start to feel a cold coming on, I juice carrots and I don't get sick. The juicer was powerful and quick. The 3-4 carrots fit in the opening at a time. The only down fall was that the part of the veggie that doesn't get juiced that is supposed to be spit out is collected around the inside of the juicer. So after juicing about a quart or so, the juicer stops and you can't keep juicing unless...
...

trruck says "Addicted to Louis Vuitton" about Louis Vuitton Handbags

I love louis vuitton leather goods. I think it has to do with the fact that the brand dates back to 1854, and yet the classic monogram pattern can be seen all over a metropolitan city 155 years later. I like pieces that stand the test of time and louis vuitton is one of those brands. The only disappointment that I have had with the brand is with the Epi Leather. I have an Epi Leather purse, and unfortunately the straps started peeling. The bag is red Epi Leather and the red is peeling off. It makes it look fake. I took it to a Louis Vuitton shop and the bags are only covered under warranty for 2 years from date of purchase. Nevertheless, I could leave it at the store and have them replace the straps. I inquired about the cost of the repair and it was a whopping $75 per strap. That's $150 to repair a purse. That is not one of my priorities at this time, so for now I will just have to stay clear of the Epi Leather and stick with my ugly straps.
...

trruck says "Fat Girl Slim?, I'm still a Fat Girls... or so I feel" about Bliss Fat Girl Slim Body Lotion

When i heard about this product I was quick to go to the store to try it out. The jar was not too big but the price was, nevertheless, I tried it out. The instructions asked that you place the jelly on in the morning over problem areas such as the belly, buns, and thighs. When I tried it I felt a cool tingle but I was not impressed. I am not a fat girl, but the fat that i would want to decrease did not with this product. You are better off taping up your mouth shut and exercising than wasting your money on jars and jars of Fat Girl Slim. I had become discouraged because I had only used the product for about a week and half and the jar was already gone. If I was to follow the directions included with the product, i would have had to of spent money on 2 to 3 jars a month. For that I minus well go the old fashion way of toning up... hit the gym and pump some iron. I do have to say though that the name of the product, Fat Girl Slim, is one of the best names for a product...
...

trruck says "Cartier Pasha C is a timeless watch" about Cartier Pasha C Stainless Steel Automatic Watch for Men

I bought my Cartier Pasha C watch in 2004 and have worn it practically every single day since. I love this watch and wear it with almost anything almost anywhere. It is a big, strong, automatic, classy, yet trendy women's watch. It makes a statement just resting on your wrist. Because the watch is automatic, It is nice to know that I don't need to worry about battery replacement. The watch came with a 2 year warranty that I did not need to use. The only issues that I have been having with the watch is that I have to shake it if I take it off for a while and or stay still for a ;long time such as in a deep sleep. It has happened that it stops in the middle of the night because I apparently did not move around enough in my sleep. Nevertheless, this seldom happens, especially if I am always wearing it, and a few shakes and a little reseting of the time gets it back to working. I love my watch because of the look, and the reputation of the brand.
...

trruck says "EA Sports Fifa 2009 is the worst thing you can buy your guy" about EA Sports - Fifa 2009

I hate EA Sports Fifa 2009. This video game is addictive to soccer lovers. My husband is constantly playing this game and it drives me crazy. He might give this product a whopping 5 out of 5, but it is the worst thing in our household. Players play against other players through a network. So you could be playing against someone on the other side of the world. In addition, players can write messages back and forth to each other. From what I have seen, it seems like it is suitable for children and adults should spend their time doing more productive things than playing video games with strangers around the world. My issue is that a 35 year old player could be playing against a 10 year old boy. And since the game allows players to communicate by sending messages to each other, it seems kind of creepy. If I ever have a son, I would not like him playing this game against people I do not know... you never know what you can be exposed to.

trruck says "Pottery Barn's Torren's Bar is the Coolest Bar/Buffet" about Pottery Barn Torens Bar

Before getting married about a year ago, I went with my now current husband to buy furniture at Pottery Barn. I am aware that Pottery Barn products are pricey, but I am the type of person who does not mind spending money on a quality piece if it will last through the years. Therefore, Pottery Barn furniture was my first and only choice for furniture I planned on living with for decades. For my dinning room area I was hooked on the Torren's Bar. I spotted it online at potterybarn.com. It caught my attention because the top of the bar can slide open and you can put the petal ice cooler in the middle. First of all, this makes it look so cool and trendy when in use. In addition, the Torren's bar is a great storage piece. I currently have my fine china and crystal glasses stored in there along with table cloths, platters, and my fine cutlery box. It is a strong piece that does not require any assembly and looks great.
...

trruck says "Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions leaves my hair like liquid si" about Pantene Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions Toffee to Almond Conditioner

I have used Pantene products for years, but this Pantene Pro-V Brunette Expressions formula leaves my hair tangle free and smelling fabulous. I have long curly brown hair and it is extremely important for me to have a great conditioner. Other conditioners will help untangle my hair in the shower but are poor at lasting after the rinse, with this product the silkiness if felt even after getting out of the shower. My hair is more manageable, less frizzy and stays in place. The only thing taht I wish about this product is that they would make it more affordable. It is a bit pricey and the bottle is not very big. Because of tough current economic times, I have found myself choosing a cheaper conditioner or shopping at Costco to buy Pantene Pro-V in bulk, but Costco does not have the brunette expressions formula. If it did, I would surely buy as many as I could off the shelves. In conclusion, this product does wonders to my hair, I love how it smells, but I would like it to be...
...
