trish126 says "I love being Minty!" about Mint.com

I recently discovered Mint.com, and feel like I've become a personal sales person for the site. I have only been using the site for a month, but love that I can see and keep track of all my finances in one easy place. It takes little effort on my part to set up or track. I basically log in to see how I'm doing with my current budget, or overall spending. The best part of all . . . it's FREE. Can't get any better than that!...

trish126 says "A Greener Cleaner." about As Seen On TV Shark Steam Mop

I have been wanting this for my hard-to clean linoleum floors. I finally got one as a gift and am somewhat disappointed. Although, I am still very glad I have a greener cleaning solution for my floors.
The Shark Steam Mop is definitely a simple tool. It feels somewhat awkward being tethered by a cord while pushing around such a thin pole, but it does what it's made to do . . . it steams the floor with plain old water with no chemicals added.
I like that I can switch up my mops from the chemical laden, but cleans very well version with this more earth-friendly option.
...

trish126 says "This Grind & Brew is a morning wake-up call!" about Cuisinart Grind and Brew - Thermal Coffee Maker

I have the glass instead of the stainless steel carafe, but am in love with my new Cuisinart Grind and Brew! It truly does wake me up. This is both good and bad. The sound of the grinder when I have it programmed does tend to startle me out of my slumber. This is also good because I know that I will be enjoying a fine cup of freshly ground, brewed coffee in only minutes of rolling out of the bed.
There are times I have pre-ground coffee I like to brew, so it's nice to have the option, both on the spot and through programming I can choose either to grind or not.

You really can't ask for too much more out of a coffee maker than this. Well, maybe if it could add my creamer and make it frothy, then I'd be in heaven!

...

trish126 says "Quick, easy, safe and clean!" about Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface Daily Sanitizing Spray

Clorox Anywhere sanitizer is perfect for any household, but especially those with little ones. For those of us who just don't have time to go behind the kids to clean up the many messes they make throughout the day—and let's face it the weekends don't seem to come fast enough where we have time to devote a full cleaning treatment the house really needs—a quick mist here and there, and I feel my house is clean enough for my infant to crawl on all fours putting who-knows-what in his mouth in between the real cleanings.
I love that I can spray and leave it, or spray and wipe. Because it has such a fine mist I usually spray a large "pile" of toys all at once.
...

trish126 says "There's a reason your baby comes home from the hospital in these" about Pampers Swaddlers

I've always been one to take advice from others, so when my sister-in-law—super mom of three, always full of wonderful, accurate advice—recommended I save my money and choose Luvs over Pampers I gave it a shot. Boy was I sorry. Nothing quite fit or felt soft enough to be up against such soft new skin. Luvs, nor Huggies, met the constant needs of my newborn. I felt as though I went through more diapers when it was something other than Pampers Swaddles. Where's the cost-savings in that?
It wasn't until my boy was a toddler, when "things" are more, um shall we say consistent did I feel comfortable putting anything other than Pampers on my baby's bottom. And that was only in a pinch to save a little money. My number one for reliable diapers from day one has been and still is Pampers!...

trish126 says "They have some pretty flavorful choices to choose from." about Boca Java Coffee

I love to try the various flavors they have to offer, but I definitely have a few standard favorites I continually order. My two favorites are the Surfing Safari and Palm Beach Passion. They both are strong, but full of flavor....

trish126 says "I love this thing . . . when it works!" about Apple - iPod Nano 3rd Generation Media Player
I really do love this iPod and all its great features. I'm very excited that I can use it to sync up with my Nike+ shoes, as soon as I buy them. I love that I can carry all my pictures of my son wherever I go. I can't wait to try out the brain challenge game a purchased last week, but have not had to actually use yet due to the constant issues with getting my Nano to work.
I originally received a Nano as a gift, but about a month after I had it I started having trouble getting it to power down. Since I was unable to get it to turn off, I was left with a drained battery if I did not leave it plugged in all the time. So, I sent it in to Apple for a replacement. How convenient was that?! They sent me everything I need to ship it back to them, and all that I had to do was drop it in a DHL drop-box. The response was fairly quick all around, but it did leave me without my music for about a week. This is not so fun when running on a treadmill with no access to any music or t.v.
Anyway, I had only......

trish126 says "This seat gave both my son and I the freedom we needed!" about Bumbo Baby Seat

My son did not enjoy being left alone in the vibrating chair that laid at an angle, making it difficult for him to see his surroundings comfortably. He also has never really cared to be on his back for very long, so this chair has been a blessing. Using the Bumbo seat, he was able to sit upright sooner than he would have been able to do so on his own, all while building his muscles. Plus, this chair finally gave me the freedom to do other things with my hands besides constantly holding him. I was not concerned about him coming out of this seat because he was always in my sight and reach. It's just common sense to not leave a baby unattended....
