tortilla123 says "This is a good machine" about Kenmore Washer - Front Load HE2 Plus

This review is for a front loader washing machine that has made a tremendous difference in our lives. We have three children, two of which are toddlers and a third that is older and he claims the dirt and mud all find him. We purchased the machine a year ago to replace a 10 year old non energy efficient top loader washing machine which was also a Kenmore.

There are many reasons to purchase a front loader, two top reasons should be:

One that it only uses a small percentage of the water that is actually used with a older top loader. The best way to describe the difference is this: Older machines the utility tub fills up. This machine the water trickles out and only really fills to the very bottom of the tub maybe a inch of water. If you have kids, this is great because A. they all use too much water anyway so it greatly saves on the bill and B. When a sock or lint or a wash cloth gets left in the utility tub it will not overflow onto the floor and flood because it never gets that high even...
...

tortilla123 says "Ordered it online-probably a mistake" about Proform Treadmills

I ordered my proform online because I was pressed for time and money. I did look at the reviews for it prior to making the purchase and I had owned a Pro Form treadmill before and that lasted for about 10 years before the belt completely snapped off of it. That treadmill came with a t.v. and that being the reason I bought it was the first feature to break down, then it started shutting off on its own in mid-run. Not only is that dangerous but extremely annoying but if you "jiggled" the wires just right it would eventually turn back on. The newest one that I purchased was again cheap and had fairly good reviews but it did take 6 weeks to get to me which was just in tome for the bad weather in Michigan to break. Then the part of the display was all banged up but i did not want to wait and go through the trouble of dis assembling, returning and re packaging a treadmill that weighs at least 150 pounds so I kept it, then some of the buttons came loose now the motor is REALLY loud and I have...
...

tortilla123 says "The wii is a good value and so fun for adults to play too " about Nintendo - Wii Console

We purchased the wii for one of our children and we were skeptical that it was just another idiot box (the longer you watch it the dumber you will get), but is surprisingly fun to simulate bowling and tennis. The difference between this machine and say a game cube or a Nintendo DS which we also have is that you can mostly physically have to interact with the machine. For instance, the you can probably purchase a bowling game for the the gamecube or DS but you would just press buttons to throw the ball etc. With the wii, you actually stand up in front of the t.v. and pull your arm back just as if you are standing in the lane at the bowling alley, align yourself and release the ball by pulling your arm forward. I am only using the bowling game as an example but another plus it that you actually have to learn about bowling. So, my son who doesn't bowl, doesn't know how to stand, line up or know the force it takes to get the ball down the lane is suddenly quite aware of all of these things...
...
