tony1959r says "I can't believe how quiet it is and how well it cleans." about KitchenAid Dishwasher - Architect II K KUDK03IT

Our old GE dishwasher finally broke down last November. We could never turn it on if we wanted to watch tv because of the noise. We shopped around for a new dishwasher comparing several models. The salesman at Lowe's was very knowledgeable about the different dishwashers he for sale. I originally wanted the Bosch but my wife insisted on the Kitchenaid because the Kitchenaid's racks are 21" across vs. the Bosch at only 19".
The tub is stainless steel and won't pick up food stains over time a feature my wife really likes.

The first time we used the dishwasher I was utterly amazed at how quiet it was. I was standing right next to it and I could barely hear it. We no longer have to shout or turn up the volume on the tv when the dishwasher is running. It also cleans the dishes extremely well. My wife really loves this dishwasher. It wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive dishwasher available, but it is definitely worth every penny.
...
