toddcan says "Broken after 4 months. Cheap. Would not recommend. " about Black & Decker 10-Speed Cyclone Blender

The Black and Decker Cyclone blender has a nice heavy glass container.

That's about all I liked about this thing.

The MOST irritating thing: The lid does not come off very easily! There is a clear plastic insert in the middle of the lid that comes off to add items while blending.. but when you try to remove the lid with this handle/insert, then the insert comes off, leaving the lid firmly in place. I cannot believe the designers even tried to remove the lid when they built prototypes.

The second irritating thing: It's noisy as all get out, and vibrates like a son of a gun.

And finally.. it's CHEAP.. after ~4 months of light use, the bottom plastic gear on the bottom of the glass container (the one that meshes with the base gears, and turns the blades to blend) shattered! It's in 6-7 pieces, rendering the blender useless....
