tinac says "Addictive, nonstop action" about 24

Jack Bauer may have the toughest life of any person out there, but it certainly makes for good drama for the rest of us. 24 is a nonstop action thriller that keeps me coming back week after week. Kiefer Sutherland is a superb actor, and really brings a humanity to the character of Jack Bauer that makes us root for him....

tinac says "Beautiful clothes, crazy drama" about Project Runway

Project Runway is one of my favorite shows! In many reality shows, you only have drama, but with PR you also have beautiful clothes that make you really appreciate the challengers' skills while marvelling at their insanity. This show makes for truly great entertainment, and once you start watching, you can't help but be hooked. Besides the contestants, there are also the hilariously cute cast - Tim Gunn, Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, and Nina Garcia each have their own quirks that set this show apart from the rest of the pack. I find that I can't help waiting for the next season, and the next, and the next!...

tinac says "Photobooks beautiful!" about Shutterfly.com

I've used almost every online photo service out there, and I have to say Shutterfly has the best quality in prints and products that I've seen. I especially love their photo books, which come in a huge variety of covers and designs. Their layouts can't be beat, and the photos have really great quality. It may be a little pricier, but the pictures and memories are worth it, right?...

tinac says "Some people say "scam" but it really works!" about Airborne

Airborne is great! It was introduced to me by my college roommate, after I had a particularly nasty cold. The next time it came, I had Airborne, and stopped it right at the beginning. It gives me just the boost I need to protect myself from the sicknesses that seem to come at the worst times. Also, it has pretty good flavors - my favorite is the pink grapefruit!...

tinac says "Cheap food and great public transportation" about Taipei, Taiwan

Taipei is one of the most thriving cities in Asia, and it is a great place to visit that is budget-friendly and can give you a taste of Asia without the culture shock. The extensive public transporation system gets you anywhere you possibly need to go, and it even features the locations in English under the Chinese letters. If you go to Taipei, must-sees are the 101 Building, which was the tallest building in the world until recently eclipsed by another building in Dubai and also features high-end retail shopping, and Shilin NIght Market, which is a funhouse of cheap food and drinks, games, and very cheap (and knock-off) shopping....

tinac says "Tourist trap" about Venice

Although Venice has a lot of history to offer, I recommend that you absorb this history in the off season. However, it seems that Venice floods in the off season, so I can't really think of a good time to go. When I went, it was like a day at Disneyland - too many people and too little space. I think there were actually more tourists than there were Venetians. In fact, there were too many tourists to really take in the romance and the atmosphere of the city. It might not have helped that, at the time I went, there was an ongoing strike amongst the city's trash collectors, so there were piles of trash sitting outside doorways and behind restaurants. There was even substantial gondola traffic, which I didn't know was possible. Overall, Venice was kind of a disappointment for me....

tinac says "Easy, convenient, and CHEAP" about Southwest Airlines

As a very budget-conscious traveler, I find that Southwest Airlines fulfills my every need. The staff is courteous, the planes arrive safely and on time, and, best of all, the plane tickets are very inexpensive. Although some have complained about the "cattle car seating," I prefer it because I somehow always end up with the bad seats on airlines with reserved seating, whereas on Southwest I get to pick and choose. Overall, I just appreciate that I can get from Point A to Point B quickly and with little or no problems....
