tigerlobo says "Ready to order and no one to tell!" about Burger King #8916 - Rocky Mount, NC

If the Burger King cashier had only acknowledged my existence at the drive-thru intercom, then I wouldn't be here writing this review. I would have been able to surprise my wife with one of Burger King's new items, a slice of Butterfinger pie! My kids would have been able to try cheesy tater tots--the picture on the menu board looked so hot and cheesy and delicious!

But, no. It was not to be.

I had purposely driven an extra distance, passing the McDonald's we normally choose, to have some signature BK lipid-laced burger bombs...hmmm

I'm sure only three or four minutes lapsed since I approached the intercom. The driver in front of me had just ordered. I saw her lips moving. She showed no discontent. She had someone talk to her.

Not for me. Maybe they heard my loud music (which I turned off to make sure I would hear the speaker) and decided they didn't want to cater to me.

Normally, a voice interrupts my menu surfing when I pull up to the intercoms of fast food joints.

In the...
...

tigerlobo says "Ironically, Target was not a target of tainted dog food!" about Pet Essentials Adult Dog Food

Pet Essentials Adult Dog Food is distributed by Target stores and can be found in abundant supply at any Target location. My wife and I are very much in love with our two dogs, a ninety-five pound Newfoundland/Labrador mix and a purebreed Beagle, so we consider the food they eat a priority on our shopping list.

After much research, my wife found Dr. Jon, a prolific veternarian who keeps tabs on the latest news about contaminated dog foods around the country. It is shocking the number of name brands affected by this unfortunate (and quite probably deliberate) act of canine terrorism. That sounds fanatical, but sabotaging the food of the animals so many of us love and depend on daily is truly a travesty.

For a forty-pound bag of Pet Essentials, expect to pay $12-14 depending on where you live. The ingredients and strict adherence to veterinary guidelines make this generic product a value at such a low price. As a dog lover willing, even on my paltry income, to ferret out the best...
...

tigerlobo says "Rocky Mount Prep is a safe school with a rigid curriculum!" about Rocky Mount Preparatory School - Rocky Mount,NC

The School. Rocky Mount Preparatory School is a charter K-12 school in the North Carolina Public Schools system. Rocky Mount Prep was first chartered in 1997. After receiving two consecutive five-year charter extensions, the college preparatory school that has graduated every senior into a college or a job received its first ten-year extension With a ninety-percent return rate of current students, the school is striving to make the necessary accommodations for consistently small class sizes. A new wing with six classrooms is currently being constructed to house the growing family of students. Prep, as locals call it, will provide a new experience for its college-bound clientele by adding a lecture hall that seats 125 students. Separate buildings keep like-aged students in their optimum environment, yet the buildings are all connected, encouraging a family-oriented atmosphere.

The Staff Michael Pratt, the Headmaster at Prep, strives to find the best teachers from around the...
...

tigerlobo says "Charges little for lack of responsibility..." about Netflix

Until Blockbuster allowed the in-store swap, Netflix was the best online movie deal. However, I just hate Blockbuster! That puts Netflix alone at the top of my dvd rental store. I love the flexibility of not having to return the movies immediately. And, if I don't send it out right away to take advantage of the low monthly rental, then I can simply watch the movie again and return it soon enough! I really enjoy the $0 risk of being late...since it's never really late.

The selection far surpasses Blockbuster, and the reviewing system on line is superior to its nearest competitor! Netfilx is the better deal for selection and late policy!
...

tigerlobo says "a pregnant station wagon!" about Chevrolet Trailblazer - 2006

I purchased this Trailblazer to replace our worn-out Suburban, and we automatically miss the spaciousness of the larger SUV. On a positive note, we weather the rise in gas prices because the overall mileage allows us to avoid more than two fill-ups a month. The V-6 gives the Chevy Trailblazer all the power it needs, and the brakes make coming out of hyperspeed a cinch! If you have more than two children, then it's a supreme hassle; however, if you're a budding family, then it's a dream ride!...
