threedognight says "I love my Curve, only downside is the keys are pretty tiny!" about Blackberry - Curve Cell Phone

I love my BlackBerry Curve. I thought I wanted a touch screen so bought the Storm first - hated it with a passion. In fact, I threatened to flush it a few times even. My husband saved it from that fate and it is now his. I LOVE my Curve. I have loaded numerous applications - some free and some I have paid for. I use it in my personal and work life both. I can check email no matter where I am, browse the web, take pictures, txt message, and play games. I spend a fair amount of time in the car and in some areas that have no radio reception. My trusty Curve saves the day when I forget the CD's - I can either use it as a MP3 player or turn on Pandora or i heart radio for some variety. I also use it at work. I have added some applications that help me in the Emergency room - drug information, calculations for drip rates, side effects. The down side is the keys are pretty tiny and once in a while it just decides to reboot itself! All in all though I am glad I decided...
...

threedognight says "Fantastic" about Eclipse Blackout Curtains

Eclipse Blackout curtains are FANTASTIC. I am a night shift worker and have looked and looked for a practical and attractive window covering that would block the light and noise from outside. These curtains fit the ticket. They come in many colors and some patterns. They not only block almost 100% of the light they cut down the outside noise. They also block heat exchange, keeping my bedroom much cooler. Am sure this winter they will help keep out the cold too. My bedroom is much more sleep friendly since finding these. As a bonus they can be washed at home too. On the down side - they come one panel to a package and only come in one width and two lengths. They make a curtain liner also. This liner can be attached to your exsisting curtains to provide the same room darkening and noise reduction as the curtains.I wish they would make a tab top version too but you can use the curtain liner they make if you have these already. If you are a day sleeper I say give...
...

threedognight says "good for quick pick ups" about Euro-Pro Shark VX1 Vacuum

Being a neat freak and owned by three dogs: 2 Yellow Labs and 1 Springer Spaniel I am always looking for help in staying ahead of the dog hair. When I saw the Shark VX1 I thought it was worth a try. The box states ist works well on carpet and hard floors. It was easy to put together and after the 20 hour charge I tried it out. the Shark VX1 is lightweight and easy to handle. It is quiet and picks up dog hair and other dirt and debris laying on the floor. The handle will bend allowing for you to get under furniture without bending down. It also does work on our throw rugs - haven't tried it on regular carpet. The dust bin is very small and a pain to dump without dumping the contents back on the floor. Another con is that they recommend that you run it until it is completely discharged before you charge it again - that is a major flaw for me. I want to be able to use it when I want and all I want.
...

threedognight says "Nicotrol helps while making this life change" about nicotrol cq nicotrol cq

Having been a smoker for many years, most of them "in the closet" it was time to quit. I have tried and succeeded many times but always have gone back rapidly. I researched different methods and suggestions and decided to give the nicotine patches a try. I first purchased a generic brand which was bulky and looked like a large bandaid. They also didn't stick too well. I finished off that box and while I think they helped I wasn't sure of the quality. The next purchase was Nicotrol CQ. What a difference. These patches are small, clear and stick great - even if I shower or bathe with it one. They are about half the size of the others and made of a clear material that isn't so easily seen. I am finding each day easier and easier. The program is spelled out well on the box and includes resources for assistance in the process of becoming a non-smoker. I will definately tell others about these patches and encourage them to use them in their quest for better health also....
...

threedognight says "The Pedi Paw makes trimming the dogs nails easy." about Pedi Paws Pet Nail Trimmer

I was skeptical at first when I saw this advertised on late night TV. Finally after finding it in a local store I figured I'd give it a try - if it didn't work I knew I could return it and get my money back. Having three dogs and two cats, if it was as good as the manufacture stated it was worth the money at my house. I left it out where the dogs could sniff and smell it for a few days. Then would just sit and hold it. After a day or two they just ignored it so I turned it on. All three dogs were not too pleased with the noise it made, in fact they all backed way up and just stared at me. But after a couple days of this they again just ignored it. Finally it was time to try it out. I picked the most mellow of the three, stuck some dog cookies in my pocket and then gave it a try. It was easy to use and after the dog got used to the sound an vibration he just relaxed and let me trim his nails. All three dogs are now used to this new device and nail trimming is much easier...
...

threedognight says "Great taste" about Viactiv Calcium Chews

I was shocked to learn a few years ago that I had osteoporsis - I associated this with "old women" and I was not one of them. But, the dexascan did not lie and I did indeed have bone loss at a young age. Unsure of why but determined to stop the progress I did my research and followed my doctors advice. I increased my weight bearing exercise, increased my dietary calcium and added a calcium suppliment to my diet. After trying a few and not finding one that was I could tolerate I heard of Vivactiv soft chews. I love them. They come in a variety of flavors, all of which are great. Because they taste good i don't mind taking them. In fact, I consider them a treat that I get to eat twice a day! In fact I have a couple containers in my home so I can switch around flavors. I think the carmel is my favorite. I have recommended these to my friends, both young and old. Educating them on the importance of adequate calcium intake and the risk associated without it. They all...
...

threedognight says "easy care" about formica laminate flooring

Due to being a home full of dogs and cats (three dogs and two cats) we have a pet hair issue. I am a confirmed neat freak and vacuum or sweep daily, not only to keep ahead of the never ending dirt and dust but I swear our dogs are out to win a record in shedding. My husband has severe, year around allergies and dogs and cats are near the top. Not wanting to part with his beloved dogs (not too sure he feels the same way about the cats) we are always looking for ways to decrease his allergy symptoms. A few weeks ago we pulled up the carpet and padding in our bedroom. It not only was a dust and dog hair magnet it was a not so pretty shade of pink! I was shocked at all the dust and junk that was trapped in the carpet and under the edges. After a thorough cleaning and dusting of the walls we had installed Formica brand laminate flooring. This flooring went down without a problem and in less than one day. What a difference it has made. I still have to sweep daily but the dog...
...

threedognight says "What a great find" about FURminator Large

The FURminator, what a find! A little back ground here: I live with three dogs and two cats; two yellow Labs and a hyperactive (but loveable) Springer Spaniel pupply. All indoor animals. Added to the mix is a husband with allergies to both dogs and cats. I was in constant clean mode trying to stay ahead of the dog hair, especially when the seasons change and the shedding really increased. It seemed I could brush each dog daily and vacuum daily yet there was still little balls of dog hair floating around. Black pants or sweaters were not worn by anyone in my family and a lint brush was found in almost every room Then I found The FURminator. After reading the directions I took one Lab outside (don't use this in the house) along with a plastic grocery bag. After a short time, less than 20 minutes, I had a FULL bag of dog hair! I was amazed. I repeated this with each dog with the same results. So day two I did it again - WOW - again at least a bag of dog hair. This...
...

threedognight says "Back saver" about Faultless Garden Claw

I love my Claw. This handy tool is a handy and back saving tool. With this handy garden tool you can remove those pesky dandelions and other weeds with ease. I used to kneel (on a pad) and move from weed to weed digging and pulling attempting to get roots and all. By the end of a weeding session not only were my knees bruised but my back was killing me! Now, I just put The Claw over that nasty weed, twist the handle right and left and that week is pulled up roots and all. Even when the soil dry and hard you can use just a little muscle and push it down into the dirt and get that weed. I have found that a second great use if for tilling a small area in the flower bed or garden. I just use it in the soil to break it up and prepare it for planting. I can add my compost or other soil ammendments to the area and use The Claw to mix it all in. All without bending over and digging with that awkward shovel. Clean up is a breeze, just hose it off and put it away. I will admit...
...

I love my Dyson! This vacuum has been the best at picking up dog hair, dirt and dust. I have never had any problems with it at all and it has been used almost daily for two years now! I live with three dogs and two cats that all shed constantly, along with a husband who is allergic to all. This vacuum has been the best! I have had canisters, uprights, Central vacuums and a Roomba but my Dyson is, by far, the best. I vacuum on an almost daily basis. This machine just keeps on going. For 2 plus years now it has cleaned up after my family. Not once have I had to have it repaired or even trouble shoot a problem! With the attachments I can get the whole flight of stairs, reach heat vents up high and go under low lying furniture. The fact that it is bagless is also a great feature. No more "doggy" smell coming from the bag! After I vacuum I just dump the canister and that's that. Also, you never discover that you are out of bags! If this dependable machine should...
...

I have my Roomba 550 for about 4 months now. As a working wife with three dogs, two cats, a husband and an aunt all living under on roof I have dirt, dust and animal hair. I bought my Roomba (I named her Marge) in hopes of not having to vacuumn every day. At first I thought this was going to work out well. I am disappointed though. I have her programed to clean the entry, great room and kitchen. These floors are tile, laminate and a couple of area rugs. She can't get under the furniture, where dog hair loves to hide. Also she leaves behind hair and lint on the edges of the rug. Another issue is that it is noisy. For a quick pick up she does okay. I also wish that I didn't have to clean her so often, one run through these rooms and she is full!
...
