I bought L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the color scheme: Smokey Eyes and loved it, so I took a chance on L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow in the shade Eva's Violets. Unfortunately, this eye shadow quad is nothing like the great Smokey Eyes quad, so I am stuck with some mediocre eye shadow.

The title of the color scheme, Eva's Violets, is named after Eva Longoria who endorses this brand of make-up. Apparently, these are the colors that she wears - good luck to her! I am so disappointed in this eye shadow.

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow Eva's Violets is an eye shadow quad that contains a purple/violet color scheme. It includes a matte dark purple, matte white, matte pink and a frosty lavender color. The only color I like in this set is the frosty lavender. The other three colors which are matte, are poor-quality. You can't even see them on your skin. A couple months ago, I went to a Victoria's Secret store to shop the sale section and see if there were any great finds. Yes there was - Victoria's Secret The Angel Sleep Tee. It was on sale for $9.99 and had a regular price of $26.00, so I scored!

I would give these pajamas a ten star rating if I could, because they are absolutely perfect. The Victoria's Secret The Angel Sleep Tee is a super comfy sleep shirt that is slightly form-fitting, but not too clingy. It is made out of the softest material, it feels so luxurious and comfortable on your body. It has short sleeves that go about to your elbow, has a round, scoop neck and falls a little above the knee. There is a pocket on the chest with an embroidered VS logo and design.

I love that this sleep shirt isn't too tight or clingy, because that tends to make me feel restricted and uncomfortable. It hangs on the body perfectly. The best part of the Victoria's Secret The Angel Sleep Shirt is definitely how soft it is. ...

There are a couple of things that I just have to buy when I see a cool one: lip balms, cook books and bar soap. I don't like to use bar soap in the shower, but I love to wash my hands with it. I love having unique bar soaps in my guest bathroom too! Whole Foods Lemon Verbena French Milled Soap seemed great because it has a citrus scent, but I was left a little disappointed.

This soap did meet several of my requirements: made with all natural ingredients, not tested on animals and paraben-free. Unfortunately, the scent is very weak and almost unnoticeable.

When I wash my hands with this soap, it lathers fine, but it doesn't feel as moisturizing as my favorite soap, South of France Mango Soap. I have to actually bring the soap up to my nose to see what it smells like. The scent smells like a very mild version of tart lemon with a touch of cream - but it's very mild. If you have ever shopped at Whole Foods Market, you know their prices aren't exactly cheap, but...

Originally, I bought Nature Valley Pecan Crunch Crunchy Granola Bars for my toddler. He is a constant snacker and loves granola bars, so I thought he would love these. What I didn't expect is that mommy loves them too and doesn't want to share!

A box includes six pouches with two granola bars in each pouch. I find just one of the granola bars in the pouch to be a sufficient snack, so I give the other one to my son. Nature Valley Pecan Crunch Crunchy Granola Bars are thin, about a third of an inch thick. They are very crunchy and easily fall apart into a million pieces, but they're worth it.

The flavor Pecan Crunch is delicous. It is filled with oats, crisp rice and pecan pieces. They have the flavors of cinnamon, sugar and a rich, nuttiness from the pecans. They are very crisp, crunchy and satisfying as a late-night snack or dessert.

Nutrition (2 bars): 190 calories, 7g fat, 170mg sodium, 2g fiber, 4g protein

My mom knows I don't go anywhere without my reusable bags. I try to live an eco-friendly lifestyle and have several types of reusable bags that I keep in my car for when I go shopping to the grocery store, Target or where ever. For my birthday, my mom bought me a Typhoon Bio-Degradable Shopping Bag in my favorite color combination, chocolate brown and blue. This large bag measures approximately 16 x 13 and is about 5 inches wide. The material is not stated on the tag that it came with, but it feels like an extra thick linen reinforced with a plastic-like backing on the inside of the bag. The plastic-like inside of the bag makes it both sturdy and durable. Each side of the inside of the bag has an elastic holder for a water bottle. There is also a Velcro fastener at the top of the bag.

My toddler used to eat anything and everything when he was a little younger. Recently, he has gone on an eating strike, making it impossible to give him nutritious food. All he wants to eat are crunchy carbs like: granola bars, chips and pretzels. Luckily, he loves fruit and cheese, but I can't get him to eat meat or veggies. While at the commissary recently, I decided to buy a couple of the Gerber Graduates for Toddlers Lil' Entrees. They are complete meals that include a side of veggies and the whole entree is a perfect size portion.

Gerber Graduates for Toddlers Lil' Entrees Mashed Potatoes & Gravy with Roasted Chicken is a small, 5.3 ounce meal for toddlers. One side of the tray has mashed potatoes, chunks of chicken and gravy. The other side of the tray is diced carrots. I took a bite out of it and thought that it was a little bland, but that's just me.

When I worked at Whole Foods Market, I was the body care buyer, so it was my job to buy the products that stocked the shelves. We decided to bring in a brand-new line of all natural make-up called Mineral Fusion, and I am so glad I did. Their products are not only all natural, but not tested on animals and loaded with antioxidants that are good for your skin.

I have been using my Mineral Fusion Kabuki Brush for about a year and a half now and it is still in great condition. Someone from the company told me that some of their brushes are made from squirrel fur, but I'm not sure if the Kabuki Brush is one of those. I first got introduced to MyChelle when I worked at Whole Foods Market. It has been the best line of facial products that I have tried. Like all MyChelle products, Apple Brightening Cleanser is all natural, not tested on animals, paraben-free, petroleum-free and made with high-quality ingredients.

MyChelle says: "Apple Brightening Cleanser is a sulfate-free cleanser designed to assist in skin brightening and gently exfoliate , hyperpigmented skin with natural apple fruit acids while powerful antioxidants protect against free radical damage".

Although I don't have damaged or hyperpigmented skin, this facial cleanser is good for my dry skin in the cold winter months. I wish it smelled like tart, green apples, but it doesn't, it has a very mild apple scent. After using MyChelle Apple Brightening Cleanser, I don't feel like I need to apply a facial moisturizer. I love to cook, but I don't like having a lot of clutter on my countertops. I always put my toaster and other small appliances back in the cupboard after using them because I think they make the counter look messy. Hence my hesitation in buying a toaster oven. Where the heck would I put it?

Call me weird, but my family didn't have a toaster oven growing up, so I was very unfamiliar with them. When I was having dinner at a friends house a couple months ago, I watched my friend put Texas Toast in her toaster oven. Oh my, I can eat Texas Toast without having to turn my oven on in the middle of August? I'm sold. A couple days later, I went to Target and bought the Emerson Stainless Steel Toaster Oven. It's small, so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space and it matches the rest of my stainless steel appliances.

I am primarily a tea drinker, but there are those days when my toddler wakes me up early in the morning and I really need some caffeine. It's not that I don't enjoy a good cup of coffee, I am just prone to becoming addicted to it. If I drink it too often, I can't function without it, so I broke that addiction a long time ago and now drink coffee as an occasional treat.

I felt like a cup of coffee this morning and made whatever we had in the cupboard which happened to be Millstone Hazelnut Cream Coffee. I wasn't expecting much because I am unfamiliar with the Millstone brand, but I am pleasantly surprised.

I have had other hazelnut flavored coffees before and thought the flavor was too sweet and tasted overly artificial. Millstone Hazelnut Cream Coffee is not very sweet at all, but still tastes good. I went to Target recently to buy my son some more Circo Socks with Grippers that he has outgrown. They were great socks and inexpensive at around $1.50 a pair. On my way to the baby clothes aisle, I happened to pass a clearance rack which had a package of 10 pairs of Circo Crew Socks for only $3.14 instead of its regular price of $6.29 - which is still a good deal. Even though they don't have the rubber gripping that the other socks have, I couldn't pass up this bargain!

I'm not sure if they make these value packs in any other color, but the only color available when I bought them was white. Circo Crew Socks come in a variety of sizes from babies to toddlers. My son is 20 months old and wears a size 7 shoe. The package recommended we get the 2T-3T size based on his shoe size. The ankle part of the sock is the typical ribbed cotton that crew socks have, and have a reinforced, stretchy band around the top of the sock.

Philosophy Double Rich Hot Cocoa 3-in-1 Shower Gel is a multi-functioning product. It is a shower gel, bubble bath and shampoo all in one bottle.

This is my favorite of the three products that came in my Philosophy Warm by the Fire gift set. It smells wonderful, like melted milk chocolate with a couple marshmallows on top. It smells so good, I want to lick it off! It looks weird and seems counter-productive to be slathering a dark brown liquid all over your body while in the shower, but it is a cleansing shower gel! This product lathers nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean.

I love this scent and wished it lasted longer on my skin once I am out of the shower. My only complaint about Philosophy Double Rich Hot Cocoa 3-in1 Shower Gel is that I wasn't very impressed with it as a bubble bath. In one of my recent online orders, I received a free sample of Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara. It's a nice sized mascara - about half the size of a regular mascara. I have not liked any of the Bare Mineral products that I have tried, but this mascara, although only 3 stars, is the best product of theirs that I have tried.

The Bare Minerals Loose Powder Foundation was horrible, as was the Mineral Veil, but luckily this Flawless Definition Mascara is much better, although not great. The brush is very small. The bristles are very fine and taper off in size from the inside of the brush to the end. The small brush does seem to grab every one of your lashes, which I like, but I can't stand the way it leaves my lashes looking. I can't tell if the brush or the mascara formula is the culprit, but it leaves my lashes looking brittle and like spider legs. I haven't been getting any clumps with this mascara, which is definitely a plus. It does make my lashes...

I already have an eye cream that I love - MyChelle Fabulous Eye Cream, but I received a sample of Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator with one of my recent online orders, so I decided to give it a try.

The packaging claims that in 14 days, 53% of clinical respondents "reported improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles". I have been using this product for two weeks now and notice a very subtle improvement. I'm 30, so I only have a couple of fine wrinkles under my eye area, so it was hard to see if this made a real improvement, but I can say that I love this eye cream!

Borba Silk Fiber Orbital Eye Rejuvenator has a perfect consistency. It's not too thick or too thin. It really moisturizes my eye area wonderfully and makes applying concealer to the dark spots under my eyes very easy - no tugging or pulling. I normally avoid products that are not made with all natural ingredients, but I wasn't too bothered by what I saw on the ingredient list of Softsoap Body Butter Coconut Scrub. Thankfully, it's paraben-free and doesn't contain any petroleum. It does have exfoliating and moisturizing ingredients that smell really good!

I am surprised that I like this product as much as I do because it has a very strong scent. It does smell like coconut, but it also smells a little perfumey. The scent lasts longer on my skin than any other shower product I have used. What I really like about Softsoap Body Butter Coconut Scrub is that it contains apricot seed powder to exfoliate. The little grains are gentle and not too abrasive. I also like that this product contains jojoba oil and coconut oil to moisturize the skin. I'm all about multi-functioning products, and this has two functions!

I generally wear two types of shoes, flip flops and Ugg Boots. Since San Diego is pretty mild, I am able to wear flip flops for about eight months out of the year. I was using the Quicksilver brand for years, but recently wanted to try something new, so I purchased Nike Women's Celso Girl Flip Flops. I got mine at Famous Footwear for $22.00 and they come in a variety of colors.

I chose the black design which has black soles and a black thong on the upper part of the shoe. They also have the Nike "swoosh" logo in white.

According to Famous Footwear, these shoes have:

Let me preface this review by stating that I am not a big "chain" restaurant person. The food is quite often not very authentic or high-quality. However, I have a T.G.I. Friday's down the street from my house and it is very convenient when you are dining out with people who all want something different. While there recently, I stumbled across the wonderful dish - T.G.I. Friday's Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta, and it is amazing!

I really love Italian food, pasta in particular. If I can have that pasta with seafood and a spicy sauce, I am in heaven. T.G.I. Friday's Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta is all that and more.

T.G.I. Friday's describes this dish as: "Our creamy, Alfredo sauce bathes al dente fettuccine pasta ribbons. All topped off with juicy chicken and shrimp-sautéed with red bell peppers in our special Cajun butter-finished with Parmesan shavings."

Although 95% of my body care products are all natural and/or organic, I do love my Biore Cleansing Cloths for removing eye make-up at the end of the night. I use a separate facial cleanser for washing my face, but I don't like removing my eye-make up with it. The last time I was at Target, I noticed that they had facial wipes in the new up & up brand, so I decided to give them a try to see how they compare to Biore.

up & up Daily Cleansing Cloths are soft, pre-moistened cleansing cloths designed to clean your face. The packaging says "Compare to Biore Daily Recharging", so I was anxious to see how they stacked up. The cloths feel very similar, if not identical to Biore cloths, but the scent is different. It's not a bad scent at all, it is very mild. I used the up & up Daily Cleansing Cloth exactly like I would a Biore, so I removed my eye liner, eye shadow and mascara. These cloths removed all my eye make-up just as well as Biore does. I am totally impressed.
