I try to buy my son as many natural and organic products as possible. That includes body care products like diaper cream and shampoo, and food products too. Since Earth's Best is one of a couple organic companies that I can find, I end up buying their products more than others.

Earth's Best Organic Yogurt Rice Crisp Bars are just like Rice Crispy Treats, but they are made with all natural, organic ingredients and also made with wholesome yogurt. Instead of white rice, these are made with whole grain brown rice. They are also fortified with Iron, Zinc, Vitamin C and six B Vitamins. They come in two flavors: vanilla or banana.

My son has the vanilla flavor and although I didn't think they tasted that good, my son loves them. They are crisp, but easy to pull apart into smaller pieces. I like having quick breakfast foods on hand for when I don't have much time or I just don't feel like making something. I have tried another Weight Watchers breakfast, the Canadian Style Bacon English Muffin, and loved it, so I decided to try another variety: Stuffed Breakfast Sandwich. Although it isn't as good as the English muffin, it's still worth buying.

What I love about these Weight Watchers frozen breakfasts, is that they are so easy to prepare (just heat them in the microwave), and I feel like I am eating something substantial, filling and tasty, but they are low in fat and calories.

Weight Watchers Morning Express Stuffed Breakfast Sandwich is a small pocket sandwich similar to Hot Pockets. It is stuffed with egg whites, cheese, turkey bacon and vegetables. My only complaint about this product is the flaky pastry. It falls apart all over the place and makes a mess. However, the inside of the pocket makes up for it. Knowing I love candles, my mom recently gave me a Lasting Impressions Natural Timber Wick Vanilla Candle. At first glance, this candle appeared to be very cool, possibly the coolest candle I've ever owned. As it turned out, it's one of the worst candles I've ever owned.

What makes the Lasting Impressions Natural Timber Wick Vanilla Candle so neat is that the wick is actually a thin piece of wood. The label on the candle says "Natural Timber Wick...crackles as it burns!".

Just the aspect of a candle that would crackle was enough for me to light it immediately to satisfy my curiosity. If only I could get it to light. I almost threw it in the trash after several unsuccessful attempts of lighting the candle. Since the wick is a piece of wood, it doesn't just light up immediately like a traditional wick. I would light the timber wick and it would burn for a little bit and slowly burn out. Very aggravating. Probably on my sixth or seventh try, it finally took and kept burning. ...

I recently stocked up on a whole bunch of Gerber Graduates meals for my son because they have the perfect portion for toddlers and everything is in small, bite-size pieces. They are also great because they include a side dish of veggies too! Since my toddler son has gone on a veggie strike, it's a real feat that he enjoyed this meal!

Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Lil' Entrees Pasta Stars in Meat Sauce has two sides. One side is small pasta stars in a tomato-based meat sauce, and the other side is green beans that have been cut up in small pieces. I mixed both sides together to hide the green beans, and must have done a good job because my son actually liked this meal. He didn't turn his head or spit out the food!

Even though Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara has mixed reviews, I just had to try it for myself. I actually found it on the clearance rack at Target and it included a free eye shadow. Since I had a coupon, I HAD to try it!

This mascara claims to give you 70% longer lashes and leave a shiny patent finish. The brush is a little different from other brushes I have used; it's kind of spiky and soft looking. When you apply the mascara to your lashes, you notice instant darkening and length, but I didn't get the "shiny patent finish" at all. My lashes had the same matte look that all mascaras have given me, Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara was no different. It also has a scent that I wasn't crazy about.

This mascara is very easy to apply, it doesn't leave any globs or clumps either on the brush or your lashes. It glides over your lashes effortlessly. What I didn't like about it is the lack of volume and the way my lashes look after applying. This...

I love trying new products from Trader Joe's because they are almost always fabulous new finds that I continue to buy over and over again. Unfortunately, Trader Joe's Chicken Vindaloo isn't one of those products. As a one time lunch, it isn't too bad, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Vindaloo is a very spicy Indian curry made with vegetables and typical Indian spices like: turmeric, garlic and ginger. When I have eaten it at Indian restaurants, the sauce has been a vinegar/tomato base filled with seasonings, but the sauce in this Trader Joe's version is very different. Trader Joe's Chicken Vindaloo contains, white rice covered in a Vindaloo sauce with little pieces of white meat chicken and carrots, peas and potatoes.

Besides the sauce not being what I expected, the flavor seemed a little "flat". Earthy seasonings like turmeric, curry and masala really need salt added to them to make them pop. I had to add a generous sprinkling of salt to this meal, and I am generally, not a salt...

I love all things citrus, and I am totally addicted to lip balm, so Badger Tangerine Breeze Organic Lip Balm looked like it would be right up my alley, and it is! Not only does this lip balm have a delicious tangerine scent, but it's organic and made with all natural ingredients too. Like with all Badger products, there is no animal testing.

I have also tried Badger Highland Mint Organic Lip Balm and loved it, so I knew I would love this one too. What I love best about this product is how smooth this lip balm is on the lips. It glides right on and feels so soft and silky. It's not thick and waxy like Chapstick, and the scent is wonderful. It really does smell like tangerines, it doesn't smell artificial at all. I have previously bought Badger Fresh Citrus Body Butter, and was totally disappointed because it smelled like lavender and did not smell anything like citrus. However, Badger Tangerine Breeze Organic Lip Balm really does smell like a real fruit.

Just like with lip balms, I love trying new flavors of tea; especially citrus flavored tea. My latest purchase is Bigelow I Love Lemon Herb Tea, and love lemon you should, if you buy this because it has a very bright lemon flavor.

When I make a cup of tea, I almost never remove my tea bag, and usually drink my whole cup of tea with the tea bag still in it. I like strongly flavored teas and they usually don't get strong enough for my liking. However, after steeping this tea for a couple minutes, I took a smell of the yellow/orange colored tea and could tell that it no longer needed to steep. I took a sip and yes, it was done! My first sip of Bigelow I Love Lemon Herb Tea made my mouth pucker! It tastes like lemon juice with a bit of tea added. But....the more I drank it, the more I liked it. This tea is not for someone who doesn't enjoy citrus flavored teas, or lemon flavors especially. The lemon flavor in this tea is very strong, bright and vibrant.

I don't know why I even bought this product. I think I was lured into the fact that I can buy an over-the-counter product that can lessen the appearance of cellulite - and it's under $15.00! I must have been dreaming.

Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite Gel-Cream is a blue gel that feels cool on your skin. You are supposed to apply it to problem areas like: stomach, buttocks and thighs once or twice daily. It is designed to "visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite" because it contains L-Carnitine which is known for converting fat into energy. Nivea claims this product will give you:

Noticeably firmer skin within 2 weeks
Visible reduction in the appearance of cellulite within 4 weeks

My Experience

I used this product as directed for about a month. The results? Nothing. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting the results of liposuction, but I didn't notice anything; not firmer skin or a reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The "gel-cream" takes forever to rub in completely. ...

Normally, I wouldn't even consider using a product that isn't all natural, but I received a free sample of Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash in the mail and I wanted to see what the hype was about. It had gotten great reviews, so I was curious to see what this product was like. As it turns out, I like it....and I'm totally surprised I do.

The appearance of Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash through the bottle was enough to pique my interest. It is a gorgeous gold color that looks shimmery and pearlescent with small, brown beads flecked throughout. Unfortunately, those small brown beads are actually polyethylene, also known as....plastic! That means plastic is going down the drain and into our oceans, not a good thought.

When my husband and I go out on a date, I don't feel like toting around my whole purse. My son recently had a really bad diaper rash. So bad that his butt was peeling and almost bleeding. At my house, I use either Method Baby Diaper Cream or another all natural cream - Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Cream. While at my mom's house for a while, I used what she had which was Desitin Original Diaper Rash Ointment. There are a lot of differences between the diaper rash creams I use and the one I was using at my mom's house.

One major difference between these diaper creams is their texture. Method is extremely thin, Burt's Bees is thick, but Desitin Original Diaper Rash Ointment was a super thick paste. It was difficult to apply at first since I wasn't used to using such a thick diaper rash cream before. Desitin also makes a "Creamy" formula instead of "original", if original is too thick for you.

When I go out for Italian food, I have to have garlic bread. There's just something about crunchy bread slathered with butter and garlic, that is so comforting and satisfying. The only thing that can make that garlic bread any better, is if it has melted cheese on top. That's why I love New York Brand Five Cheese Texas Toast. It's thick slices of "Texas-sized" bread with melted butter and herbs and covered in a blend of five cheeses.

A package of New York Brand Five Cheese Texas Toast contains eight pieces. I bake them in my toaster oven and they are ready in no time. When they come out of the toaster oven, the bread is crunchy and browned on the outsides and the cheese is melted. One bite and your hooked. You can taste garlic, butter and of course, cheese. I bought the Fit & Fresh Lunch On The Go Set for a couple reasons. One, I have a toddler and I always need to have food on hand when we're on the go or to keep him busy during appointments. My husband also takes his lunch to work occasionally, so I thought it would be perfect for all of us, and it is.

The Fiit & Fresh Lunch On The Go Set includes a large, rectangular compartment with a lid that stores and totes two smaller compartments and a thin, removable ice pack. The set is designed to carry the two small compartments with either the ice pack on top of them or beneath them, and a sandwich on the top or the bottom.

This lunch set works out perfect. I can put chips, veggies, fruit or other snacks in the two small compartments with the ice pack on top of a roast beef sandwich to keep it cold and nothing gets smashed or crushed. The ice pack lasts a long time and is adequate for keeping your food cold from morning until a reasonable lunch time.

While shopping at Target recently, I came across a baby product I haven't seen before - Gerber Harvest Juice. From what my doctor has told me, I shouldn't give my son any juice, just real fruit. However, this product meets a need I have, it contains veggies! A package included four, 4 ounce bottles.

My son has recently become an extremely picky eater and won't eat veggies, so Gerber Harvest Juice sounded perfect because each mini, 4 ounce bottle contains a full fruit/vegetable serving. So it not only tastes great, but is good for him too. The small size is a perfect serving and a great size for on the go too.

I bought Gerber Harvest Juice in the flavor Apple Carrot Blend. It contains nothing but juices, water and vitamins; no added sugar! Although the only vegetable in this particular flavor is carrots, it is better than nothing.

Ingredients: apple, carrot and white grape juices from concentrate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), citric acid, vitamin E.

A couple days ago, I started to have an allergic reaction to one of the new products I bought recently. I haven't determined which of my new products is the culprit, but it is making my skin itch and driving me nuts. I decided now was the perfect time to use my Rainbow Research Colloidal Oatmeal Bath that I had been saving for the right time. A package includes three packets of powdery, oatmeal bath, so three baths worth.

This product is 100% all natural, and made with nothing but colloidal oatmeal. Rainbow Research says: "Rainbow Colloidal Oatmeal provides soothing relief to itchy, dry and irritated skin. Colloidal oatmeal is made from finely ground oats which are boiled and the colloidal material is extracted and milled to a fine powder."

Philosophy Ooey Gooey S'mores Lip Shine is one of the products that came in my Philosophy Warm by the Fire gift set. Just like the other two products from the kit, this one smells good enough to eat! You can also buy this product individually, without the gift set.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for this product because I am fairly picky about lip products. To my surprise, Philosophy Ooey Gooey S'mores Lip Shine not only smells great, but feels really good on the lips too. It smells exactly like s'mores! It smells so good, I want to lick it off my lips. As good as it smells, it doesn't taste like anything though. It does feel kind of heavy on my lips, but it doesn't seem too sticky, which I like a lot.

I usually cook everything from scratch when I make dinner, but I saw the Ortega Taco Kit at the commissary for under $2.00, so I had to take a chance and try something new. Since all I needed to buy was ground beef and taco toppings, I thought it would be worth buying even if it sucked.

The Ortega Taco Kit makes 12 tacos and includes the following:

Ortega taco seasoning packet
Packet of Ortega Taco Sauce
12 crunchy taco shells

I liked how easy this kit made it to prepare crunchy tacos. Simply brown ground beef with the taco seasoning packet and bake taco shells to get them crispy. Then top with your favorite taco ingredients. I added shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.

I thought the ground beef tasted great. It was well seasoned and flavorful. The Ortega Taco Sauce was too mild for my liking.
