themarcy73 says "Price is right, convenience of locations is not" about Orleans Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas, NV

The Orleans had nice rooms and they were very spacious. The shower had great pressure and you got as much hot water as you needed. The standard room comes with one or two beds, a couch, and a comfy chair. There is not a closet to hang clothes, but I think there was a place to hang things in the bathroom...not a place I like hanging my clothes. — My biggest problem was the location. They advertised having a shuttle which would take you to the strip, but it only ran until midnight. We had to pay a cab, which ran between 10 and 15 dollars from the strip on two of our three nights at the hotel. There are no other casions within a comfortable walking distance from the Orleans. — The room rate was very economical as we got a deal at 35 dollars per night. If you go on a off week, they run that special often. — ...

themarcy73 says "You don't train a Basset Hound, they train You!!!" about Basset hound dog breed

We had a Basset we named Beavis. He was with us for seven years. I looked up the life span of a Basset and it said it can range from 8-12 years, which was lower than most of the other breeds I looked up. However, some have been known to live longer than 12 years. Some common ailments for the Basset Hound breed are eye problems, weight gain, and back problems. To prevent weight gain, have an active dog as your Basset's companion. We had a Brittany mix as a companion for our Basset and Beavis got exercise by chasing her around the yard. — Beavis was my husband's best friend. He loved to be petted and loved the company of us humans. I have noticed this to be a trait of many Basset Hounds. Bassets are great with kids, if they were raised around kids. — A Basset Hound has been called stupid in the past, but I noticed Beavis was not stupid, he just played stupid at times. He was always getting into the trash can...

themarcy73 says "gets rid of the fleas for months" about Frontline Plus

I have tried the store brands, Frontline, Frontline Plus, and Advantage. By far, the Frontline Plus works best. Sometimes we would go several months between treatments and it was still effective. Look at the box, it says it lasts 3 months for fleas and 1 month for ticks. Our dog was allergic to fleas and once we started the Frontline Plus, within a few days, he stopped itching and his rash went away a few weeks later. — If you purchase from your vet, it will be fairly expensive. However, there are several places online that you can find some good deals, especially ebay. Ask your vet if they will match online prices. My vet told us they would match online prices because they don't feel you can obtain a 100 percent safe product such as this from online. So, it is worth a shot to ask your vet to price match. However, I have had no problems with the Frontline Plus i have received from online retailers and from Ebay stores. —...

themarcy73 says "The best of the three" about Shrek the Third

I thought this was the best of the three Shrek movies. My husband and I watched this at the drive-in and we were captivated for the majority of the movie. However, it did drag a few times. The movie had suspense, villians, heroes, and comedy. And the Shrek babies are so cute!!! Yet, I think the donkey and dragon babies are even cuter!!! This movie does a good job of continuing a story and it is fun for the whole...

This movie was awesome and everything it was hyped up to be. It contains the usual Home antics and chaos. I was wondering how they were going to pull off a feature film about the Simpsons, and I was surprised that they did it so well. For anyone who has ever liked or loved the Simpsons, this movie is a must...
