terriebari says "Best Margaritas!" about CJs Great Western Grill - Manchester, NH

CJ's is my very favorite casula dining spot. With both a restaurant and sports bar, there's plenty of seating as well as plenty of parking. The menu is quite varied, and includes a special diet section. For those not on a diet, their margaritas are outstanding. Don't miss the Monkey Juice margarita made with fresh bananas. Yum. The menu includes salads, fish, burgers, sandwiches, steaks..you name it, it's on there, and it's all terrific....

terriebari says "FABulous!" about Bissell Steam Mop

I LOVE this product. I had seen it on an infomercial and then read some reviews on it. It took me awhile to find it- I think supply was not meeting demand for awhile. Finally bought it on amazon.com.

I was amazed at how easy this is to use. You simply fill the water tank, plug it in, and it is rady to go in just a few seconds. I can do my entire kitchen and hallway on one tank of water. I feel good abount not using chemicals to clean the floor. It is not too difficult to push or maneuver, although having to hold the button down constantly is a little annoying- guess it is a safety feature and at least I know I can put the mop down and not over steam the spot where I left it.

You have to be very careful with this prodict on single-tile floors. I used it on my basement floor, and I followed the directions for holding it for 15 seconds on tough spots. That caused my individual tiles to peel up. So, it might not be for you if you have that type of flooring. It is actually fine as long as you......

terriebari says "More expensive but less waste" about Keurig Elite B40 Coffee Maker

I LOVE my Keurig brewer!

Because Keruig makes each cup fresh, (the cups are actually mini filers, sealed individually), the coffee tastes far better than coffee made from a can or package that has been sitting around for awhile. Coffee made from this brewer always tastes like the first cup from a new package of coffee.

I used to make a pot of coffee in the morning, and I always ended up pouring half of it down the sink. this doesn't happen with my Keurig, since one makes a single cup at a time. There is no waste with Keurig, no guessing on the water to coffee ratio, either. Coffee is always consistently brewed.

The only drawback is the cost of the cups. but, if you search around, many online companies sell the coffee at a dicsount.
...

terriebari says "Finally- Acne free, but no "leather face"!" about DHC Salicylic Acne Wash

FINALLY an acne product that does not dry out the skin!

I've been into DHC products for about a year. I've tried a few of their cleansers, and I've enjoyed every one I've tried, however my skin has been a little acne=prone lately. Happy hormones, ladies over 40! The problem is, any acne wash that I've tried ahs also dried the heck out of my skin.

DHC is great about sending free samples, and I got one for the acne wash. I was excited to try it, and was not disappointed! Not onyl did it help the acne, it did not dehydrate me at all. It has a nice, ocean-like fragrance, too, and is very reaonsably priced.

Whenver you buy DHC products, they always give you 4 free samples of any of their products, which is a great opportunity to try other things out, like the rest of the salicylic line, or maybe the AHA cream which is also a fantastic product (though a bit pricey).
...

terriebari says "A Handy tool, for real pets or dust bunnies!" about Swiffer Sweep + Vac®

Due to my insane schedule and multi-pet houshold, I love any tool that makes house cleaning easier. This little vac and sweep really helps out on hard flooring! It vacumes AND it has a dry swiffer attachment, so you get the best of both worlds in one tool. It's really handy for picking up loose dirt and pet hair. I love using it in the bathroom to pick up hair.

It's also very lightweight, and the charge seems to last a long time. You do have to clean out the little dust cup fairly frequently, but who cares? It's easy enough to dump the cup contents into the trash.

The one negative is that the vacuum is not meant for heavy duty vacuuming. It only picks up small stuff and loose dirt.

It is such a pleasure to give up my dustpan and dustpan "leftovers". No more little dirt line!...

terriebari says "looks quirky, runs sturdy" about Scion xB Sport - 2006

GREAT car. When i first saw it, i thought it was ugly. i thought, "no way am I buying that ugly car". Then I sat in it. It was so roomy and comfortable, I thought, "i could nap in this car"!

i have experience great gas mileage which is so important to commuters like me. The only negative has been that I did some minor damage to one side of it (hit a small landscaping boulder), and it was expensive to repair. but, what car isn't?

I've had it for over a year now and it's been great. nothing beats Toyotal quality!
...

terriebari says "for the kid in each of us" about Walt Disney World - Orlando, FL

There's nothing else like a Disney vacation and there is ABSOLUTELY nothing like staying on a Disney property. It may cost a little bit more, but it will save you a TON of time and time is money, after all. Because we stayed on a Disnely property, we were allowed into the parks earlier than those that stayed outside and it made a tremendous difference. the transportation within the park system is amazing as well.
The food in the parks is pricy. We ate breakfast in the cafe at our hotel, which was not too bad prcie-wise, and then we ate cereal bars and stuff that we brought with us during the day. Enjoying a nice meal in Epcot is SO worth it! all of the restaurants in Epcot were really fantastic.
...

terriebari says "Live like the elite" about Celebrity Cruises - Summit

The best service I've ever encountered. Fantastic food available almost constantly.
My only complaint is that they do the "hard sell" with all of the photos they take of you everywhere you go and they charge extra for some things that other cruises would comp, like aerobics classes. We had a GREAT time in the casino and even came out ahead!

I was hesitent to do a cruise. I thought I'd feel trapped, and that the rocking of the boat would make me sea sick..and nervous! I was wrong on both counts. The inside passage cruise was only far enough from land on the very last night, and even that was not that bad!
...
