I recently went to Florida to visit my friend and she has very light carpet all thru her living room and hall area. One morning I noticed that someone had spilled something outside the bedroom doors and into the living room area. It looked like it was coffee or soda and was stained on the light carpet. My friend had purchased Bissell Oxy Magic carpet cleaner and had not tried it yet so I gave it a try. You first spray it on the stain and let it set for approximately 10 minutes I gave it 15 minutes, then you use a dry cloth (I used an old white wash cloth) to rub out the stain. Within a few minutes and without much scrubbing or energy at all the spots were completely gone. I then took the vacumn to it and it looked like new again. I have tried many carpet cleaners and I have never used anything so easy and cleaned as good as this did. I am not sure how much she paid for it and neither is she and I have not found it back here in New York yet but I have only been home a week......

My husband and I purchased the Venta Sonic VS205 Ultrasonic Humidifier after searching online for the one I thought would be the best for us. We have a pellet stove and I suffer with allergies and the first week we started up the stove I started with a sinus infection. One week after getting the humidifier (and taking medication) the sinus infection was gone. My head has been clear ever since we have gotten the humidifier. I do not have to take pills everyday for headaches and do not wake up every morning with a sinus headache. Our living room is quite big, 17X28 and our bedroom is right off the living room and this humidifier reaches right into the bedroom. When I searched for a humidifier I wanted both a cool and warm mist and this one has both, it also advertised that the fan blows the mist visibly into the room where it instantly evaporates, well part of this is correct. I live in a double wide and the vinyl floors are not the most expensive. My kitchen floor is white with little color to it. The floor is now 8 years old and we are planning to replace it in a few years, however in order to keep my floor white I was on my hands and knees with magic eraser every weekend trying to keep it clean. I tried every floor cleaner on the market and used several mops and none of them would keep it white except for magic eraser. When I saw the magic eraser mop I purchased it immediately. I love the mop because it is much easier. The only drawbacks with it is the wringer it is difficult to wring out the water. It is clumsy and hard to handle in the bucket of water. When you are wringing it out the water drips on the floor. The other thing is it is hard to get under the cabinets. Because the wringer is attached to the sponge it is clumsy and bigger than most mops and will not get under the cabinets so I have to use the magic eraser sponge to get in those......

I guess the best thing I can say is that I love my Dyson. When my old vacuum broke my husband went out and bought me an Electrolux because we have two cats and my old vacuum was no doing the job and I complained all the time. When he brought home the Electrolux I was really excited. I tried it right away and I was so disappointed with it that after two weeks of really giving it a try I returned it to the store. My oldest daughter had bought a Dyson several months before and had been bragging about it and how good it was about picking up dog and cat hair. I got online and looked up the website where she purchased hers and ordered my Dyson, 3 days later I received the best vacuum ever. I was so surprised at how it picked up cat hair. I have bragged about it so much that my two sisters and two friends have purchased the Dyson. This was 4 years ago and it is still going strong. My husband has suffered two heart attacks, triple bypass surgery and a stroke, each time the doctors told him he had to quit smoking. When he had his bypass surgery 3 years ago the doctors told him if he did not quit he would be back in surgery within 5 years. He did not listen to the doctors and continued to smoke. His reason was that nothing worked and because he smoked for 35 years he could not quit. He stated he tried everything and nothing would work. Well about a year ago he became a proud grandfather and decided life was too short and would like to be around to see his granddaughter grow up. He talked to his doctor about Chantix and started the drug in April 2007. He went from smoking two packs of cigarettes a day down to 2 to 3 cigarettes a day within 2 months. He started to tell me that he would start to smoke a cigarette and could not finish it. By the end of 6 months he was smoking 2 to 3 cigarettes every 2 to 3 days. After 8 months he started cutting back...

My husband and I had to purchase a new gas grill and I was not looking forward to it. I was used to the old gas grill with the lava rocks and didn't think I would like the new grills without them. We shopped around and talked to the sales staff about the different grills. We decided on the Charbroil name brand first of all because it has been around for a long time and secondly it was a model that had everything I wanted. The best thing of all is that there is a lifetime guarantee on the burners, this is something that we did not find on any other grills. We talked to a customer that was returning a Perfect Flame grill that he purchased last year at Lowes because the burners had rusted out over the winter and he is unable to replace them and Perfect Flame does not have them in stock and is not willing to replace them for him. Lowes was good enough after some lengthy argument to replace the gas grill for him, they gave him the same grill but at least he was able to get a replacement. ......

I currently have the Keurig B40 and absolutely love it. When mine does die on me I will go out and buy a new one immediately. I will purchase a newer one with more cup sizes however you don't need all those added gadgets that the fancier models have. I just love this machine. I am the only one that drinks coffee so to make a pot of coffee just for me is a waste of time and money. Now all I have to do is get out of bed and with my eyes still closed go out to the kitchen and put my K cup in the machine, put coffee cup under it, lift up handle and in less than 30 seconds have a hot cup of coffee. Does it get any better. Then in 20 minutes or so when I want my second cup of coffee I can have any flavored coffee I want without having to make a new pot. I also have the hot chocolate which is delicious and anytime I want a cup of tea all I have to do is add hot water to my cup and use my tea bag. I have had my Keurig for 2 years now and have not had to replace anything. ...

My sister recently had surgery and I sent her flowers. I had a coupon from one of the surveys that I belong to so used it on FTD. I have used FTD previously so this was not the first time. When choosing your flowers you have to remember that they are much smaller than they are pictured so that you will not be disappointed when you see them. My sister loved them and I did not have to leave my house. There is a large selection to choose from and they do have sales at different times. I didn't get to see my sister or her flowers for a few days and when I did they still looked fresh. I was very happy and will order again from FTD....

My husband and I have stayed here twice this summer, it is a great place to stay for just a few nights. Small but very clean and everything has been remodeled and is new. Is privately owned and the owner also owns a restaurant in town that is an excellent choice to eat. The motel desk agent will give you directions to the restaurant and the menu and you also get a 10% discount for eating there. If you have any problems you can talk to the owner right at the restaurant. They have a great swimming pool but a very small hot tub. Location is great for going up Mt Washington which is what we did on our motorcycles. Earlier this summer we stayed there on our way to Bar Harbor on our bikes. Would definitely recommend this if you don't want anything too fancy but just a place to stay for a night or two....
