teqeela says "easy to use and great to learn" about Vanguard IRA

i've been using vanguard's ira and regular mutual funds now for over 5-6 years now. they have been really great for those of us who don't get into the nitty gritty of investing. great tools to use to learn about risk and how it guides you towards various funds that match your risk tolerance. moreover it lets you know at each step why it recommends such funds... so far i've made some pretty decent returns over the years and the IRA i chose is still chugging along. — — vanguard's website, compared to some other investment firms' i've used, is by far the easiest to use. they really make an effort to let you know what the terms mean, how to buy/sell and all in all don't make me feel stupid. it's a great way to start investing for the beginner. — — —...

teqeela says "would be more helpful to be literate in Austin's novels" about Becoming Jane

so i watched this because my g/f made me. i'm not that big into chickflicks, but then again i do like to read a good book. i have to say the movie wasn't bad, although it would've been helpful if i read more (ie: any) of her books. lots of quotes from her works, but were all lost to me... the story itself wasn't bad though. glad it was not a hollywood fairy tale...

teqeela says "it's like crack, you keep coming back" about chicken on the run - Bethesda, MD

this is by far the best peruvian chicken place in DC/MD. I go here all the time from a recommendation from an ex- (who I hate, but I love the chicken). the herbs they use are out-of-this world and the yuca is the best. the yuca's crispy, tasty, and works very well with both the mayo-based and green chili dippings. the chicken is tender, juicy, and amazingly well seasoned. I've tried a number of other peruvian places in the area, and while I like them all, chicken on the run is the best. — — for about only $6-7 you get half a chicken and two sides. yuca, plantains, salad, rice & beans are among them (in the order of my favorites). yummy stuff. — atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall, but clean. only a few small tables but i've never seen it so busy that you can't find a seat. — — the food is wonderful stuff and I highly recommend it!!! — — — —...

teqeela says "those blue potato chips they offer on flights are GREAT" about Jet Blue Airways

Jet Blue's Terra blue potato chips are wonderful. I have to say that I've never had such good tasting potato chips in my life. I tried them out last month on a flight and got addicted. Following flights that did not have them were a real bummer. So now I've been going to the supermarket to find Terra chips and have been getting fat off of them... mm. — — oh, and the flights... The flights themselves are pretty decent. I do a washington-boston run all the time. Service is friendly, though like the rest of the airlines delays are frequent... — — Jet Blue I've found to be pretty competitive too in pricing. Just have to be aware of their deals as they go on. I find them through farecast.com, jetblue's own email distro, and travelzoo. —...
