tdwest says "photography meets "hi def"" about Sony - Cybershot W80 Digital Camera

This is my third Sony camera and they seem to get better everytime. I wanted to get into the 1080 realm with my next camera and this was the best deal I found. I later saw a package option with the docking station I would have went for but have no regrets. We compared pics from our DSCP92 to this one and hands down the DSCW80 was way ahead. On tv playback via the camera it rotated the photos into correct position, sized them best for screen and play music in slideshow mode. My wife who was not wanting to spend the cash, changed her tune in about 1 minute. I haven't given the video mode a very solid workout yet, but I'm sure for a "camera" it will do fine. If you want great videos I sugguest sticking to a video camera....
