tbirdzchick04 says "Sweetener with no added Calories!" about PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener

I thought that the Purevia was great. As a person specializing in nutrition, I am always on the lookout for new, low calorie, healthy foods and products. The PureVia tasted like sugar to me. My brother thought that it wasn't quite sweet enough.
...

tbirdzchick04 says "DS Lite: convenient and fun" about Nintendo - DS Lite Console

The Nintendo DS Lite is my favorite handheld system so far. It comes in lots of different colors and designs-mine is plain white. The games that you can buy for it range from Nintendo classics like Mario to new Nintendo games like Brain Age. My favorite one is Animal Crossing Wild World. A downside of the system is that games tend to be expensive ($40). You can also play GameBoy Advance games on the DS. Certain games can also be connected to the Nintendo Wii (for instance, for Animal Crossing City Folk, you can "tansport" your character on your DS to bring to another Wii). I really like that the DS Lite is light, unlike the old Nintendo GameBoys. There are two screens (I'm not really sure why) but most games take advantage of this. Most games also take advantage of the touch screen; there is a pen that you can use to draw, write, or move your character with. You can also play many games using the regular D pad. Some games come with extra items, for example, Guitar Hero comes with a "guitar"...
...

tbirdzchick04 says "Acuvue- Soft and easy" about Acuvue Advance Contact Lenses with Hydraclear

I have been wearing glasses since 5th grade and am now a junior in college. I've never been fond of how I look in glasses or how they obstruct my face. I decided to get contacts in October during my eye doctor visit. I tried out three or four different brands and none were very comfortable. I then tried a fifth pair and that one was ok, so I went home and came back in two weeks to check on them. They were itchy and felt dry. My doctor told me that they weren't fitting my eyes right and gave me another- Acuvue Oaysis with Hydraclear- my eyes never felt better! They were moist and smooth, fit my eyes perfectly, and were easy to place in my eyes. I have been using them since then. I only have to switch them every two weeks, taking them out at night. If I accidentally fall asleep wearing them, or if I have been wearing them for an extensive amount of time, they do get dry/stick to my eye, but just a few eyedrops fixes that easily.
...

tbirdzchick04 says "Magic Bullet- Perfect for quick smoothies" about Magic Bullet Blender - High Speed Mixing System

I love my magic bullet. I got it as a present last Christmas (one con is that it is a little spendy, especially if you don't make smoothies often). I love it because it is so convenient and quick. I live in a dorm, so having a bulky blender that would make way too much for just one person would be ridiculuos. That's where the magic bullet comes in. I can make one serving for myself- a splash of juice and milk, a small carton of yogurt, and some frozen fruit, then put the lid on a blend! It is also easy for if I have friends over who want one, it is so easy and quick and people can customize. I've also made milkshakes with it. My next task-is to try to make purees with it. I haven't tried it yet, but I am sure it will turn out great. The only bad thing I have to say about the magic bullet is that sometimes the lid will leak while blending-just a little. And when you try to tighten the lid-it really gets tight and therefore difficult to come off. Overall, though I love it and would recommend...
...

tbirdzchick04 says "Weight Watchers- Easiest Diet and best for you" about Weight Watchers

I would recommend Weight Watchers to anyone casuaully trying to lose weight. In August of 2007, my dad, my brother and I all started Weight Watchers (with the books and calculator, but did not go to the meetings). I lost a total of 20 pounds, my dad lost 35 pounds, and my brother lost 25 pounds. The program is really easy to learn and also easy to follow. You don't have to cut anything out of your diet- you can still have cookies, chips, and pop, but all in moderation. Writing down what you eat and using the point system makes you feel accountable for your actions, which can help in your decision-making process. As a soon-to-be dietician, out of all the commercial diets, I would say that Weight Watchers is the best. However, it depends on the individual; it may not work for some. Weight Watchers, unlike others, teaches you healthy eating habits and influence you to make lifestyle changes and it doesn't make you dependent on the program nor the program's products. You learn how to eat healthfully...
...

tbirdzchick04 says "Wii-Worth the money" about Nintendo Wii Console

I would recommend the Nintendo Wii to the "everyday" video gamer, or someone who is new to video games (kids, older people who aren't into games). I can spend hours playing the Wii. The best part is that you don't feel like you are wasting time playing a video game- there are games designed to work your brain-such as Big Brain Academy- and games to work your body, such as Wii Fit. Almost all of the games are interactive in some way. From a steering wheel for racing games to a guitar for music games- you are always moving. All of the games are new, creative, and refreshing- nothing you've ever seen before. A really great part too is that you can have a lot of fun playing by yourself (such as animal crossing), but the most fun is when you play with others (like in Big Brain Academy, Rock Band). Another pro is that there is online play- you can use friend codes and add friends on different games as well on the console. The console itself lets you design your "Mii," a character that you play...
...
