tammywilkins says "Really fun for the entire family" about Nintendo Wii Console

My 14 year old daughter had wanted this Wii thing for almost 2 years. She saved up almost all the money to buy it herself! We had never owned a game console before and so it was odd that this was such a big desire for her.

Once she finally was able to buy one (they were always! out of stock) she and her sister would have the best time playing with the Wii! She went through almost everyone we knew including the pets and made "mii's. This wasnt even part of the game and we sat around on cold indoor days and just laughed and laughed with this thing.

I am not a big fan of all these games kids play and the fact that they sit around on their computers all day long never going outside and not being social but the wii to me is different. It seems to be more centered around groups playing together and not just individual play. Plus it also seems to give you a lot of other stuff to do.

A few months ago we bought the Wii fit and that was even more fun! The only thing we didnt like and I hope they...
...

tammywilkins says "Uses too much Ink" about Lexmark Lexmark X5410

In our office we have several fax machines, printers and copiers. None of them work especially well and we needed another copier that was more reliable than the ones we had.
I did not do much of a study on the different printers , which I now regret. The price of the printer was first and foremost why I bought the Lexmark. It was on sale during the winter holdiays for just under 40 dollars. Had I known at the time that I would spend that every time I wanted to print a piece of paper in Ink! I never would have bought this piece of equipment.

I dont know if it is broken or I got a lemon, but we have no other piece of equipment that sucks down ink like this stupid Lexmark! Iwould never buy another Lexmark again.

The other great features it has are over shadowed by how much ink we have to use for this thing. PLUS, the ink cannisters are the type you cant refill at your local walgreens. Hows that for the environment...

Then its almost impossible to buy them regularly because Office depot...
...

tammywilkins says "Wish I had a time machine to NOT have ordered this card!" about American Express - American Express Plum Card

When BZZ agent had first offered this campaign to me, I had strongly considered not joining. We had been very disatisifed with American Express in the past and I had been really working hard to astructure the business to get away from using Amex and going to strictly either Mastercard or Visa.

HOWEVER the deceptive/confusing marketing tools made me reconsider applying for the card. I regretted it immediatly and every day after that. I finally got to the pointnwhere the card was almost down to a zero balance and we accidentally used it for one of our suppliers. I got a phone Call from the Plum people asking for a payment PRIOR to the statements stated due date!

I can not wait to rid the company of this card and be done with American Express all together. They charge outrageous fees and their entire business program is based on superiority! Well in this economy that just isnt what consumers are concerned about American Express!

The terminology on the cards marketing was borderline deceptive...
...

tammywilkins says "I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!" about Yoga Center - Deerfield Beach, FL

When I first moved to Florida in July of 2008, I had been wanting to do Yoga for several years but never had the chance.

I had lived in New Orleans for many years and every Yoga center was either 900 degrees or super expensive. But post Katrina New Orleans really made it easier to want for a chance to try Yoga more and more every day...I finally decided to move here to Floirda and just by sheer luck ended up moving to Deerfield. I knew really nothing about the area and knew even less about the Deerfield Yoga Center. Remember, I had NEVER even gotten the opportunity to take one single yoga class ever, all I knew was that I knew I wanted to try this yoga and I had a strong feeling I would really love it.

I believe it is the Deerfield Yoga Center that made it such a wonderful experience and made me a true believer in Yoga! My circumstances have changed in that I havent gotten to go for several months (my two amazing teen daughters drain me of every extra penny I have. : ) and our schedules...
...

tammywilkins says "I hated it!" about Weight Watchers

I was very excited to try weight watchers. I had heard ONLY good things about them and heard that they had a free trial. It seemed like a win win.

Well when I got to the weight watchers place, I found out that the "free trial" was almost 50 bucks and another 13 per week! And that I had to go EVERY week or I would have to start all over again and pay the almost 50 bucks all over again. I paid and I went to the meetings. All the meeting times were terrible. They had maybe 3 a day and they were either at 9 am or 12 or 6pm. How was someone that works going to make these meeting times? But I did go. I would mess up our families dinner hour or my lunch hour to go. The meetings were full of people that wanted to hear themselves talk!

It was frustrating and I felt I wasnt getting anything out of it. I really wanted the meetings to be a place that I would come away from feeling like this was a great thing. It wasnt. I also was feeling frustrated at the lack of weight that I was losing. I was...
...
