tallyho says "The BEST LITTLE ITALIAN RESTAURANT in town" about RIchardo's - Tallahassee, FL

This is the best kept secret in Tallahassee! Privately owned and operated you get the home-town treatment but it doesn't stop with the service. Private bread receipe is a plus but the meals are well proportioned, delicious and absolutely worth the wait! Being a small restaurant there is commonly a wait, but don't fret...you will appreciate every second once your meal is presented. Owner loves "I Love Lucy" so decor is that of Lucy memorabilia...owner is commonly the one who greets you and double-checks on your service throughout the course of the meal. There are other Italian restaurants in Tallahassee but this one is the best value for the money!!!! ...

tallyho says "Try another diet! Atkins is not all it is supposed to be!" about The Atkins Diet

Tried the Atkins Diet several times...first time I stuck with it for several weeks although the inability to not eat carbs was tough at first. Did see a weight loss but felt awful! The first time I was able to add back some carbs I thought I had won the lottery! Tough to stick with if you are not a meat kind of person. If I saw turkey bacon again I think I would be sick to my stomach. I loved eggs but you can only be creative with protein so many ways! Have had several friends lose large amounts of weight on Atkins...and South Beach but it is a hard diet to stick with long term. I guess the sensible eating and smaller meal proportions really is the only way to accomplish a healthy "diet"....I have tried several, this being my least favorite. ...

tallyho says "They family pet that lives and lives and lives..." about Blue and Gold Macaw

As a breeder of macaws and cockatoos for years, I would recommend the Blue and Gold as a family pet over most of the other macaws, except of course a Hyacinth! Hyacinths are the ULTIMATE of the macaws!!! The Blue and Golds do not seem to attach themselves to one member of the family as easily as some of the other macaws however, if they do, those that are not the favored family member beware. Remember these guys can crack a brazil nut in a second! Commonly the hand-fed babies do well in a family setting if handled on a regular basis by all members of the family. However, as most love the novelty of having a bird that talks remember these guys outlive us in many cases so if you feel the novelty might be short-lived, select another pet as a companion. Be prepared to have a lifetime investment of time spent with this animal. These are the most neglected of all pet species in my opinion...people love the novelty of having a bird then the novelty wears off...you see the birds......

tallyho says "Not for the children to watch with you!" about Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

This one you don't have to waste your time on! I was looking so forward to watching this as there were so many fabulous reviews...what a disappointment too! Ready to sit and be entertained instead I was NOT IMPRESSED! Some cute lines make you laugh but all in all, just a waste of time! Vulgar, just plain vulgar at times and not needed for story line...definitely not one the kids need to be in the room either. WOuld not recommend, very disappointing!
...

tallyho says "For children? Any good American adult will love this one!" about Finding Nemo

This will become a classic...for children yes, but the undertones for adults makes this movie right up there on the top of the list for family entertainment! One you can watch over and over! Characters are witty, clean cut and hilllarious! If you are from the over 50 crowd you will love the turtle families, reminders of those growing up years...and then there is Dorey...we can all relate to this absent-minded character. Just a very well done, clean, family type movie...ready for another one to come out! They did a fabulous job on entertaining the masses with this one!

...
