tabbycat says "They buy your used ink and toner cartridges! FREE MONEY!!" about toner buyer

DEC 4 2007 I heard about this website on a TV program and didn't really know if it was real or not. We all have home printers now and go through a lot of printer ink cartridges and probably toss them in the garbage when they're empty. NOT a good thing to do! These cartridges can be reused instead of adding trash to our landfills. You can take them to office supply stores to be recycled but here is a better idea to benefit yourself or your school fundraiser. — Go on the website: tonerbuyer.com and look at the information there. They will buy your used (or new) ink cartridges or toner cartridges. There is a huge list of all the ones they will buy and there are different prices they will give for each cartridge. I sent them some HP cartridges and I got $22 back from them a few months ago. — Contact them first with your mailing address and they will send you the instructions AND a free UPS shipping label! Yes, FREE! ...

tabbycat says "Fast, easy, delicious vegetables in 5 minutes!" about Birdseye Steamfresh mixed vegetables

Birdseye is at it again! They have created another great product that is heated in the microwave and is ready in 5 minutes. I love these vegetables. The corn is so sweet and yummy! There are many different kinds available-green beans, cauliflower, peas, broccoli, mixed vegies, corn, etc. There are also "supreme" brands that cost a little more, but they are also very good. — These vegies are on sale a lot at my local store and you can also get coupons in the Sunday paper. I just went on the Birdseye website and they have a $1 internet coupon you can print at home. — They are very easy to prepare, just place the unopened (don't poke it with a fork either!) frozen bag in your microwave and cook it for 5 minutes. This bag will be HOT and it is a little clumsy to try to open them without hurting yourself. That is the only problem I have found with these--so be careful! I pick the bag up at the corner and use scissors...

tabbycat says "I love my polished fingernails!" about Sally Hansen Salon Nail Color

I am a closet nail biter, but my daughter was getting married so I let my nails grow so I could polish them and they would look nice. Well, I was so impressed with how pretty my hands looked that I have made an effort to NOT bite them anymore. — I purchased Sally Hansen NO CHIP 10 day nail color because I hate those little chips you get after the second day of polish. I didn't really believe the hype about 10 days but I figured it was worth a try. I bought a lovely color called Nonstop Nude #41 and Constant Iris #57. I put on 3 coats, letting each coat dry well before applying a new one. — Well, to my surprise this polish really DOES last a long time. I don't know about 10 days but it definitely lasted 7 days. And I do a lot of physical labor, typing, and I also wash my hands dozens of times every day and this polish lasts. You don't get those goofy chips at the side where the cuticle ends. — Try it and...

This is my 4th HP computer, I had 2 destops and 2 laptops. I am also a stockholder and my shares have to go up $30 just to break even! So you know I wouldn't say something bad about HP unless it was for real. My laptop lost the wireless connection after I had it 4 months. My laptop never leaves my kitchen desk so it has never been dropped or treated roughly. I never even put in the battery because it is plugged in and never moves. — I had to send the laptop to CA for repairs, which were covered under warranty, but I lost everything that I had on it and had to start all over when I got it back. HP claims they replaced the system board. Then 4 months later I lost my wireless connection AGAIN. I had to send it to CA again and went through all that bother again of losing all my photos and files. They claim they replaced the system board AGAIN also. — Also, when I purchased this laptop, it did not have Vista on it, but I got a CD...

tabbycat says "Animals are injured and killed for entertainment!" about AT&T (formerly Cingular)

I have recently learned that AT&T Cingular sponsors rodeos. Now I know that rodeos have been around for a very long time but that does not mean that it is OK. Animals are injured, tortured and killed during these contests. If a man is injured or killed it is different. He has chosen to participate in this dangerous "sport." Animals have no choice. They are forced to participate and are shocked and prodded with sharp objects. Do you really believe that calf-roping is not painful to these poor creatures? Imagine how your own body would feel if you were jumped on top of, had your neck grabbed and twisted and then had your feet tied together! These poor creatures don't understand why this is being done to them and they are frightened and are hurt during this. There are much more horrible things that are done to these beautiful animals. Google rodeos and if you can bear to watch and read about them, you will be saddened and...

tabbycat says "It's like beating clothes against a rock, but easier!" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

My Maytag washer quit on me after only 3 years and instead of repairing it I replaced it with a Whirlpool Duet front loader. This washer is so stylish and looks European in design. I love the fact that it uses much less water than the traditional top-loading washer. The clothes splash around in there and it reminds me of the frontier woman beating her clothes on a rock at the river, except, of course, it is much easier on me! You only need a small amount of detergent, in fact, if you add too much it creates too many suds and the cycle takes longer to complete. One thing I don't like is that the bleach doesn't get added until AFTER the wash cycle, which doesn't make sense to me. So I start the washer and let the clothes get wet, then I mix a third cup of bleach with 2 cups of water and add it slowly to the washer during the wash cycle. Sometimes I think the washer doesn't spin out enough of the water from the clothes, but you can do...

tabbycat says "My husband wanted a 50 inch plasma TV!!" about Panasonic - TH-50PX75U Television

Our old analog TV started to go bad and my husband started talking about getting a FIFTY inch TV to replace it. I thought that was crazy. No one needs a TV that big, I said. Well, guess what? He got his wish. We bought a Panasonic 50 inch plasma TV. It was fairly easy to put together, there is a pedestal that you have to attach. You need at least 2 strong people to do this and also to lift the TV onto a stand. Of course, it takes up much less room than the old televisions, since it is a flat panel. Attaching my ancient VCR to the TV was a bit confusing, the directions in the book could be better for the electronically challenged! We didn't really do much to change the color or sound, just turned it on and started watching. We don't have HD in our home yet, but the picture we have without it is beautiful. And also, I have become very attached to the big screen. I feel like I'm in a movie theater. ...

tabbycat says "Here kitty, kitty - time for dinner!" about Friskies Canned Cat Food

I buy cases of this food for my 13 cats (8 indoor and 5 semi-feral) and they eat almost every morsel of it. They don't like the kind that looks like it has been through a blender, they like the shredded and prime filet brand. The last 2 are also easier to get out of the can and spread on the plate. The blended kind has to be chopped up so the cats can pick it up. My cats like the turkey and chicken flavors...

tabbycat says "Cats DO ask for it by name!" about Meow Mix Original Choice

I have 8 indoor cats and 5 semi-feral cats that I feed daily. They all eat Meow Mix Original Choice. The price is reasonable and sometimes coupons are available which makes it better. All the cats seem to enjoy this dry food and they are all healthy. The only con I can think of is when the cats throw up, which can happen no matter what they eat, it will leave a stain on our carpet if I don't get it right away. I think they add too much dye to the food. Cats don't care what color their food is, they just care about the taste. ...

I have 8 cats and feel bad when they get hairball problems. I don't feed this cat food exclusively, I mix it in with their favorite -- Meow Mix Original Choice. It seems to work very well, I haven't had any cats gagging on hair anymore. I guess it helps to ease the hair out through their digestive system instead of just clogging their throats. It's easier to give them this food rather than try to get them to swallow medicine. They don't even know they are eating something that will help them medically! I highly recommend this food. —...
