tab1cal says "Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream cheese spread is spreadable!" about Kraft - Philadelphia Sundried Tomato and Basil Cream Cheese Spread

I received a coupon for Kraft's Philadelphia Sundried Tomato & Basil Cream Cheese spread, which was redeemable at a Publix. Well, I am nowhere near a Publix, so I tried the coupon at my local Kroger. Guess what? They honored it! Now, that my plug for Kroger is out of the way, let me tell you a bit about the Philly spread:

It is awesome! The flavor just pops and Kraft once again stands up to it's name. I am having a hard time refraining myself from using the spread more than once a day, okay, so maybe twice, if I am careful with watching my calories... I used this on wheat crakers and bagels. Either way works great for me! My kids got a sample of it (yes, I shared -- once!) on carrots and they enjoyed it as well. Hmmm, if this is another way to get them to eat fresh veggies, I am all for it!

I'll try the new Spinach and Artichoke spread as well... I think either one of them would be an appealing addition to any kind of party or get together!
...

tab1cal says "Great for a vacuum, but not worth the price" about Oreck XL

I purchased the Oreck XL 7 years ago for $300 and got the "free handheld vac and cordless iron" to boot. My vacuum has lasted well these years in the process of 4 relocations and lots of vacuuming after pets and children. The cordless iron bit the dust 2 years ago, but I wasn't happy with how it didn't stay warm. My handheld vac has worked well in cleaning out the vehicles as well as indoor carpeted stairs. But here recently, it seems to have lost its suction power. But back to the upright...

I like how I can go from carpet to floor and back without having to adjust height. And I have had high pile to no pile carpet to clean. It picks up dirt very well, even doing wonderful in competition to the infamous Kirby vacuum demonstration.

Pros:

Very lightweight, easy to use throughout pregnancies and carrying a baby in arms while vacuuming.

Catches and picks up dirt and keeps it in; it doesn't filter back out into the air.

Long cord allows for lots of vacuuming without having to stop and...
...

tab1cal says "Read the small print first!" about Windex Outdoor All-In-One Window Cleaner

Getting this in the mail was a thrill...like opening a Christmas present in the Spring. And I was all ready for some Spring cleaning as I assembled my new Windex Outdoor All-in-One Window Cleaner. Thinking I would clean my first story windows and then move on to the second story, I only connected two poles; a simple twist and they popped into place. Next I pulled the cleaning pad out of the packet and attached it to the head. So far, no complaints!

Then I stepped outside to start the "dreaded" window washing. A spray at the windows and washing effortlessly, followed by a final rinse and the job was done. A few streaks, but not bad for a quick go. I began the disassembly... or so I thought. No matter how much I twisted and turned the poles, they would not let go. In frustration, I tossed the tool into a cleaning closet and picked up the box to place with it. Only then did this note catch my eye: "Tool can not be disassembled." Duh! for me, but not so smart on Windex's part either. Now, I...
...

tab1cal says "Sunbeam 5891 Bread Machine: a bit shaky but turns out good bread" about Sunbeam Bread Machine 5891

I have used the Sunbeam 5891 several times and am somewhat satisfied with it. It's kinda noisy and vibrates much more than I like, but the bread comes out well. The crust is a little crispy at first, even on the light setting, but softens over a little time (usually the next day) which is how I like my crust.
Not my first choice in a bread machine, but for the price, I consider it a fair bargain....

tab1cal says "Win with Pixar Cars!" about Cars

We bought Pixar Cars for my then 2 year old son last Christmas. We had not seen it but had heard alot of good things about it and enjoyed the previews we had seen. The children, ages 5 and under seemed interested in it, so we purchased it as a Christmas gift. They didn't want to finish opening the rest of their gifts, they just wanted to watch the movie!

Over the past year, they have watched it several times a month. If a friend comes over, Cars is requested. We have purchased other children's movies since then, but Cars is always the top pick over any other movie we have. They'll even ask for it if they see it at Blockbuster!

The plot is great and it has a good moral to teach, along with some fun songs to sing along to (for the older audience). There are a few implications that mature viewers would pick up on, but overall it is an excellent movie to watch whether you are 2 or 92. Full of fun animation and voices that will make you laugh, this is a must-add to your video/DVD collection.
...

tab1cal says "Nutty about Beechnut" about Beechnut Baby Food

Beech Nut is great for beginning babies and on through till table food. Over 5 years ago, I started my oldest daughter on Beechnut and we both loved it - she for the taste and I for the price! It is comparable to Gerber and Heinz but much cheaper. And the variety of flavors is great. Each flavor is made with natural ingredients and vitamins added. The stores in my area quit carrying Beechnut and I had to switch to Heinz or Gerber, depending on sales, prices and coupons I had. Both carried me through the baby food stages of my next two boys and I was prepared to go with the same for my newest little girl. She is now 5 months old and ready for solid foods. What a joy and surprise to find just in my last shopping trip that my local grocery store is now carrying Beech Nut again! My daughter just loves the flavors and I again am glad to see the low prices. I feel confident that I am giving my baby the best in store bought baby food products with the healthy benefits of Beech Nut....

tab1cal says "Good vibrations makes for a happy smile" about Sonicare FlexCare 900 Series Electric Toothbrush

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now and am enjoying it. My husband thinks it's the lazy way out to care for my teeth, but I say it's "specialized care." Just recently I started having sensitive teeth and the Sonicare Flexcare system has several settings, one of which is for sensitive teeth. This feature helps reduce pressure of the brush agaist the teeth, making it gentler and easier to care for my teeth without the pain. Claims are that it will help give whiter teeth, but I have yet to see results of that.

One minor issue is accidently pushing the button to change features while brushing my teeth. I can go from sensitive to massage to clean without intending to. This can be a bit aggravating, especially against my sensitive teeth!

I like the options of the massage as well, it's invigorating! And another great feature is the go care, which gives a quicker clean when you're in a hurry (and your teeth aren't too sensitive).

I haven't priced the replacement heads yet, but with...
...

tab1cal says "Great camera for a great price" about Canon - PowerShot A540 Digital Camera

I got this camera as a gift last year for Christmas. It went through batteries pretty quickly so I got rechargeable ones, and they work great and last much longer. This camera works well for those "Kodak" moments, along with still shots and videos come out pretty clear and sharp too. It is a great product for the cost and seems to be durable enough. You don't have to be a pro to take pictures, I am an amateur, and it's a "snap" for me! Included with it are simple instructions for downloading pics to a pc.

Red eyes are a problem that I have noticed in using the camera, but they can be relatively easy to clean up with a photo-shop program on the computer. It's a bit bulky to carry in a purse, but fits nicely in hand. The flash can be a little slow in getting ready for a quick second shot.

Overall, I am pleased with my Canon A540 and would recommend it to any of my friends and family.
...
