swim559 says "Paris is the City of Lights." about Paris, France

Although you hear many bad things about Paris, the truth is, the majority of Parisians do not hate Americans! It's as simple as speaking their language- which is beautiful in itself. It is easy to getaround, it may take a day or two to get used to the Metro system, but no big deal if you have ever taken public transport before. It is a wonderful city to explore. Seeing the sights is, of course, a must, but just wandering the streets of Paris is enjoyable as well. — If you are going to go up the Eiffel Tower, go a little cheaper and at least walk up to the first floor. The views are amazing, and it's good exercise! :) —...

swim559 says "If you go to Italy, you HAVE to go to Venice!" about Venice

Venice, even for a non-Italian is a wonderful experience. It was the second city of five that I went to in Italy and probably my favorite. It is really easy to get around, with the water buses and cabs, and you could walk around the whole city if you chose to. It is beautiful, with amazing architecture and canals. It is definitely an old city, but it is slowly adding modernizations behind that gorgeous...

swim559 says "The Ultimate Gift is the ultimate feel good movie!" about The Ultimate Gift DVD

The Ultimate Gift is about a young man who is spoiled and has no true friends. Upon his relative's death, he is given the Ultimate Gift: a series of tasks to ensure his very large inheritance. It's an inspiring tale of helping others and learning who you are through that help. I highly recommend rushing out and getting the DVD...

swim559 says "Great end to the series, it has intrigue, action, romance & more" about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. What can I say? — Well, the book is a great end to the series. We've all been waiting for seven years to see what the lovely J.K. Rowling would come up with to finish the series. When I first read the book, I was so excited to see what would happen at the end. I was not disappointed. Rowling adds in more of wizarding culture and folklore to keep the readers interested. The story of the Deathly Hallows seemed a little far-fetched at first, but looking back at it, it fit in quite nicely with the HP world. — I was a little disappointed with the epilogue- I did not like that she jumped 19 years to the future. I would have liked more information as to what happened after the war was over. I guess it is all up to my imagination now, which is how a good book should end! —...

swim559 says "Easy to use, great for traveling, perfect size to take on the go" about HP - photosmart 715

This camera has it's ups and downs, like any other. It is lightweight, and is great for traveling. I've taken it across Europe and around the States as well. It is easy to download pictures onto a computer- any computer. The cords are easy to attach to both camera and computer. I would like some more features on my camera, such as black and white pictures or panoramic shots, but those can be fixed by editing the pictures afterwards. I would definitely recommend this camera to...
