sweetsissy says "Feels great but drops letters and skips." about Logitech Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave

Logitech has put out a great feeling keyboard. The mouse that comes with this package is so-so regarding being comfortable BUT it is a very accurate mouse. I can live with that aspect of it.

The problem is with the keyboard. It drops and/or skips letters. If you are a hunt and peck person you will still notice the defect because of the skipping. A person who can type will notice all the dropped letters as they go along. If you are off line and using a word processor it was not to bad but if you are online trying to type in passwords or type email it can cause some bad situations. It cost me a $3,000.00 error with my bank account that I was fortunate enough to be able to correct but the hassle was immense..

As for the design and feel of the keyboard I truly like that. It is a very comfortable keyboard to use. I have talked to tech support regarding what they recommend and they said the Logitech K350. (Stay away from the Wave Pro as it is the same identical keyboard.) ...
...

sweetsissy says "Crystal clear!" about Uniden - DECT2080-2 Twin Phone

Researching is my game when it comes to needing a new item. And research is what I did when I needed a new phone system. What surprised me was that when I went to purchase something else I saw the Uniden Dect2080. It was so new at the time that there was no reviews on it yet other than what it was suppose to do. It does all that it says it will do and then some.

The first thing that caught my attention when I saw this in the store was the "Interference Free" on the box. That in itself was a big plus because of the various "wireless" electronics we have in the house. I can honestly say that there has been no interference that I can detect at all. Check that up as a positive!

The second feature that grabbed my attention was that all I had to do was have the base plugged into the phone wire and the other handsets just plugged into an electrical outlet. YAHOO! I live in an older ranch house that has a total of two phone jacks. I can handle "just plug and go". ...
...

sweetsissy says "I would buy it all over again" about Garmin - 60CSx

There are several good handheld gps' out in the marketplace. My gps of choice is the Garmin 60CSx. I purchased mine approximately nine months ago to use for geocaching. Much research was done prior to the purchase and what sold me on this particular brand/model was how well it would pick up a signal under "tree cover" which one can find oneself in the woods quite often when geocaching.

Another feature that I like is how easy it is to read the screen. The screen is not cluttered with a lot of detail. The map page can be zoomed in or out depending on the view one wants and still see a clean detailed map.

Coordinates can be entered manually using the rocker button. Overall that is not a major problem but it can be time consuming if there are many coordinates to enter. Such as recently I was involved in a geocaching competition which required entering approximately 30 coordinates on the run. My teammates who had a touch screen on their gps' to enter coordinates...
...

sweetsissy says "Do not buy." about Hewlett Packard PSC 1610 InkJet Printer

This review is for the HP PSC 1610 printer which incorporates a printer, scanner and copier. This printer was purchased as a replacement for an old dying HP printer. In the past I have been very happy with HP printers and decided to continue. I have had this one about three years now and soon after the warranty ended it started to cause me problems. The worst one is paper jams. Then at times out of the blue the cartridges refuse to "move". I can hear them attempt to move but nothing happens. So thus I turn it off, let it set for a few minutes and then it will work fine as if nothing happened. The other thing that is a major annoyance is that it will not print envelopes properly.

I plan to look for another printer but it won't be this one for sure.
...

sweetsissy says "Works great" about Meridia, Sibutramine, Generic Meridia 10mg 30 Pills

I have tried every diet and have not had any results. My doctor had me try meridia and I lost 40 pounds in three months. GREAT!

The problem came when I went off the product six months later. I gained not only the 40 pounds back but another 20.

The biggest problem is that it causes the brain not to crave so thus you eat even way less than what you should. If you try to eat what should be a normal portion (at least in my case) I would not feel just stuffed but bloated. Once you go off this diet pill the craving comes back. Even though I was eating properly, I gained the weight plus back because my brain was not "in check".

In general, it works as long as you stay on it. But I could not afford the $150/30 day supply indefinitely.
...

A great product with a 30-40 minute battery life on one charge. Well balanced and easy to handle. Somewhat on the pricey side but if you watch for sales (I bought this one when the Father's Day sales were going on.) you can save some money....

sweetsissy says "DO NOT BUY! updated June 20, 2009" about Black & Decker Grass Hog Cordless Weed Eater

I bought this product because I was tired of trying to get a gas weedeater to start. It would usually take several pulls. Using a corded weedeater was out of the question because I would have had to use two extensions and dragging 130 feet of cord was not my idea of fun. I bought my weedeater back in 2006 and I must have been lucky to have gotten a good battery because mine will last me through the whole yard, which takes 30-40 minutes to do.

Overall I am quite satisfied with the performance of this product.

June 20, 2009 update:

My current rating for this item is a "1" and only because of the battery. I originally rated this product after I had used it for a year (2007). I was impressed with it. The overall concept still impresses me. It is the battery life that has soured me.

Do not waste your money on this model or ANY cordless string trimmers. I sit here today once again comparing string trimmers.

Here is the gist: This particular model is great when it works. ...
...

sweetsissy says "Deceitful Service" about The Paragon Catalog

I recently made a purchase from the Paragon back in November. I received a confirmation email telling me what the total purchase was to be, which I agreed with. A few days later after the order was shipped I received another email that basically doubled the price of my order. I called customer service to question the bill. I was told that they were having problems with their website and that it was sending out inaccurate emails.

I had paid the purchase with a credit card. A few days later when I checked the statement they had charged my card the wrong amount. I called them up to complain. The woman asked me if I wanted my account credited back the money and I said YES! I also informed her I was sending the purchase back. Which I did.

What bothers me is the attitude that this company took regarding the overcharging. The customer service representative informed me that they were only crediting wrong charges back to people who called in and asked for the correction. ...
...

sweetsissy says "Fantastic!" about George Foreman G5 Indoor Electric Grill

I was given a George Foreman grill a few years ago as a gift and exchanged it because it basically was a one function grill. When I discovered the G5 and checked it out I had to have one. When doing research online I discovered that there were two G5 versions. I have the red one.

What I like about this grill is how fast it cooks. There is a great chicken recipe in the book that my son enjoys. Waffles cook up quickly. Grilled sandwiches don't burn. Love how grease leaves the meat.

One con to this machine is that when you are cooking foods that have grease, when the lid is raised some of the grease drips down the back. Not much but enough to make it a pain to clean up. I would like to see R&D come up with a correction to this problem. But don't let that minor inconvenience stop you from buying this product.

The other con to this machine is that it cannot be stored up on end. That would make it nice to be able to store it standing rather than flat taking up space. ...
...
