sunflowers2009 says "Weight Watchers is...priceless, (pardon the pun)!" about Weight Watchers

I have done weight watchers in my past and I lost 32 pounds, just from watching my food intake and back then I did Tae Bo. I am not normally over weight. At the time I was weighing in at 160 lbs. I should be about 130 lbs. So, I looked really good. At least I thought so.

But, with so many new problems, deaths in the family, quitting smoking and everyday stress from home, work and life in general. I put weight back on. So, I started back on Weight Watchers, I lost about 17 lbs. so far and I am not doing any point systems. I do however, eat the Weight Watchers meals. But, I drink a lot of water or Crystal light. I'm down to one or half of a bottle (20 oz.) of Pepsi. Regular Pepsi. I cannot drink diet soda, I get very sick and who wants to sit in a bath room all day. Not me!

I enjoy the diet. It has so many options to choose from. I just choose not to count points. I can how many pieces of pretzels or rice cakes I can have. But, I don't write it down anymore. I don't belong to a club, just...
...

sunflowers2009 says "Chantix blew it away for me." about CHANTIX

Chantix, a smoking cessation pill. I love it! It worked for me and then some. I have smoked for over 35 years. This past November 2008, I quit! I put out my last cigarette. What a wonderful feeling!

I was scared to start the Chantix, all the rumors you hear. The side effects were scary too. But, I finally broke down and got it and I have not smoked since November 5, 2008. There was side effects, the weird dreaming, moodiness, tiredness, and being snippy. But, that's better since I stopped taking the Chantix and I'm still smoke free. It's amazing how one little pill could do that, I've been smoke free for 6 months.

I recommend that someone else try it. It's not for everyone. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to kill himself, but we stopped it and was feeling better in a few days. But, I have so much more energy, I am breathing better, I have less colds, at least they are not as severe, I just have an overall feeling of being and feeling better. I thought going off the pills would have...
...

sunflowers2009 says "Don't cry no more." about Lexapro Antidepressant

I am takng Lexapro which is an Antidepressant for depression & anxiety. My brother was Manic depressive, he took his life in 1995. I am still having issues since his death. My mother has Alzheimer's Disease. My two other brothers have Depression as well. My father does too. Also, my sister did, she had a good reason for taking Lexapro. She had Thyroid cancer of her spine, then throughout her body. She lost her 11 year battle on March 17th, 2009. There is one sister left, but her Depression is quite mild, but has increased since our sisters passing. But, like my father, she refuses to take anything.

I have taken Lexapro since my brother's suicide. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the Lexapro. Everybody is different though. Not everyone gets good results from Antidepressants. I was fortunate. It has helped me so much. The only bad thing is, if you run low or forget to take it, well, you do start to cry. Now, that's my way of knowing it does work.

When my sister died almost...
...

sunflowers2009 says "My Proform Recumbent bike is a true blessing!" about Proform Recumbent bike

My Proform Recumbent stationary bike is great. I had 3 back operations and I loved doing exercises like Tae Bo, but that is no longer allowed by my Surgeon. But, he did suggest the bike. So, I went out looking for one and this past Christmas, I got one. It's great! I can ride while watching TV, reading a book. listening to music and even knitting. I can also change the speed and ramps. Which is a nice, because of challenges. I like being challeged. I just don't want to hurt myself. I used to have a Proform Treadmill, but, I really like my bike better. Not because I'm sitting down, but because I would rather run, but I can't according to the Surgeon, because of the motion of up amd down, too much of a strain on my back. I am limited, but slowly getting back to my normal life.

If you tried old stationary bikes and felt like you were getting any where (pardon the pun), try the Proform Recumbent. I have gained strengh in my back, my legs and my well being. Any Recumbent bike will help. Oh,...
...
