summerann says "Great stroller, car seat is "infant" and short-lived. " about Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel Galore System

This stroller comes as a set with the car seat. The stroller is by far the better item of the two - especially considering our daughter has outgrown the infant car seat. :( She is 16 months and we still use the stroller all the time. It has all of the compartments we need but the drink holders are kind of weird. A 16 oz water bottle is wobbly, as are both of my travel coffee mugs. The "sunglass" holder doesn't work for the styles that are popular right now (big!) so I've neer used it and it is a waste of space. Storage basket is very handy! We took this stroller to the beach and it did not do well on sand or any other rough terrain. Now that our daughter is getting bigger I've also found that the stroller is somewhat heavy (about 20 lbs?) and hard to push up hills. I've gotten many compliments on how this set looks - we have the "Deco" set. Safety is high too (5-pt harness).

Biggest PRO: Fold-up is SO easy once you get the hang of it. I usually do it one-handed with ease.

Biggest CON:...
...

summerann says "Folds great for storage, cleans up easily. " about Graco Contempo High Chair

We are very happy with our Graco Contempo High Chair purchase. It folds up great for storage but is pretty big - so you need to have a good amount of space to store it. It cleans up well and the chair back is washable but we've never had to take it off to machine wash because we just wash it with a cloth and it's like new (clean-up is important to us). This chair has a double tray (one snaps onto the other) so you can use the top one for the majority of the messy part of dinner. We then take the top one off and clean it while she is finishing up with dessert (cookies, juice). However, we do get annoyed with how bulky the trays are. My husband usually only wants to use and clean the top one since it is much smaller than the base tray.

Our daughter is 16 months now and eats in a booster during snack time but we prefer to use this chair for the big meals of the day. This was definitely a good purchase and comes highly recommended! Oh and this chair is attractive and gender-neutral!

summerann says "Love it! Great protection but application is messy. " about California Baby All Natural SPF 30+ Sunscreen

I really LOVE all California Baby's stuff! The Ingredients they use in their products are safer for baby too. This sunscreen really protects baby from those harmful rays!

Now for the details: 2 drawbacks are price and the cream is white (making application somewhat messy).

1. I personally prefer that it be white so that I can see where I've put it on my baby. :) But I have had family members complain about it - which clearly the white goes away when you apply it but you have to rub it in well enough.I have used this sunscreen all summer on my baby and she has not burned at all! Okay, the only time she burned at all was a really small area near her diaper where I must not have applied the sunscreen. I guess that gave me the chance to see how well it was really working! So once it is on, it is on - and no worries because it works great.

2. The price is high (as it is for all of CB's products). However, I think it is well worth it.
...

summerann says "Love this product! Smells GREAT - "safer" than most. Costly!!!" about California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo & Bodywash

I LOVE California Baby!!! I've spent hours researching chemicals in products and they make a lot of the "safer" ones. This stuff smells great too! My husband does not like that t doesn't "suds up" a ton but I'm fine with it. Body wash and shampoo in one and it works great for both! If you are chemical conscious, like me, get unscented or tree tea and lavendar. All of their stuff smells good, regardless! The downside is that you pay the price for quality and the bottles are almost all small. :(

summerann says "Washes great, looks great - but not very quiet or easy to load. " about GE Profile PDW8280J10SS

GE Profile Stainless Steel Tub Dishwasher.

No problems with washing - 4 years and going. Water filling up and rinsing is loud but this may be an issue with our water line and not the dishwasher. Even with all of the cool options, it still seems like very few of our dishes or plastics "fit" quite right in these racks. I'm not sure that any of the dishwashers out there really do fit people's dishes though?!?

Cycle run time is pretty long at about 2 hours for a normal cycle. However, there is a "china" setting we use sometimes if it's a smaller load and we need to run it quickly. We often use the "4 hour delay" option as well which is really handy to have it run during the night and dishes are done in the morning. Using that option, you don't have to worry about noise nearby and you can get that very last dish in there before it is run. ;) One last thing, if you don't use the "heated dry" your dishes will be wet so that obviously uses more energy - but at least it works! Overall, the dishwasher...
...

summerann says "Great monitor but doesn't last long before it drives you nuts!" about Summer Infant Day & Night Handheld Color Video Monitor 1.8" Screen

This "Summer - Day and Night Monitor" is great and does the trick for the most part. However...

The bad:
My complaints are that after about 2 months the interference and static are beyond annoying. We try everything to make it shut up. If you walk by or get near the monitor it gets all static-y and loud. And yes, we have tried both "A/B" bands. Second, now we not only deal with the static problem, but the volume button seems to have some type of "short" in it. Volume either needs to be up too high, or it sounds okay and then ends up being too quiet to hear anything. It's definitely a short or something because if you tap it, it will get louder or quieter. NO, we don't handle it improperly or drop it or anything like that! The volume is one of those old school dial-type spinners (like an old alarm clock radio) so with this problem we can't quite get the right volume level now. Regarding that issue, it was great for the 1st 6 months though. One last negative is the base for the camera. It just......
