sugarsmak says "Great juicer, easy to use" about Breville BBL550XL 5-Speed Blender

The Breville Ikon five-speed juicer has been well worth the money spent. For the first time ever, I found a way that I like to eat carrots. My favorite kind of juice is carrot-apple-celery-ginger juice, with a drop of hot pepper oil for extra bite.

The juicer is sturdy and well-designed. The chute where you put the fruit or vegetables is wide enough to take a whole uncut apple. Very convenient to not have to spend a lot of time preparing the fruits and vegetables before juicing.

The juicer is easy to clean up after use. The most difficult part of cleaning up is the spinning mesh basket that strains the juice from the pulp. A scrub brush is included for this purpose, which actually works really well.

The fact that the juicer has five speeds is a nice feature that I couldn't find on any other juicers when I was researching which one to buy. The idea is that you want to use the lowest speed possible for highest juice yield.

Best of all, the juice is yummy.

sugarsmak says "sulfur really works for acne" about Bye Bye Blemish Healing Minerals

This stuff works better for acne than *anything* else I've tried during the past 20 years. And I've tried many many things. At first I was put off by way the product is used-- you need to dip a cotton swab all the way to the bottom of the jar in order to scoop out the sediment, which is what you apply to your skin. I think the top layer is alcohol, which somehow preserves the medication/sediment. The directions say to apply the product to affected areas, however I use it slightly differently. I take a small blob of the medication, put it in the palm of my hand, then mix it wih some lotion. Then I apply the mixture to my entire face. When I first started using this product, I basically put it all over my face, like a mask. My face cleared up, but my skin became excessively dry. Adding lotion to the mix hekped a lot.

My boyfriendtells me that I smell like a volcano because of the sulfur. So if you're concerned about smell, wear a strong perfume.
...

sugarsmak says "Good solid computer, but heavy" about Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop

I bought my Dell because of their reputation for customer service after having had a miserable experience with Apple support for my last computer. The Dell worked great for two years, then in the third year, the screen began to have vertical lines. Just one at first, but then more appeared. I called Dell repair and they sent a technician to my house who fixed the display, and in addition, replaced the motherboard, heatsink, fan and graphics card. All for no cost to me-- covered by the warranty.

Some other good things about the Inspiron... I like the extra high resolution screen-- great for watching movies. The comuter itself is very sturdy and well made. My last computer developed cracks in the plastic from screws poking through the surface (maybe the screws were tightened too far?). The Inspiron is much better, structurally.

Things that could be improved-- the computer gets hot. Also, mine seems to have a problem where the battery is not properly connected, cutting power...
...
