And by hand was frustrating.  More than once, I thought it was clean but it still had gunk in it.  I got worried about bacteria growth. —... Then recycled paper pellets.  All were very frustrating because they cost more and nothing worked.  I then tried Feline Pine.  The great thing is that it smelled fantastic!  My house was beginning to reak, because of 'accidents' and now I would walk in to the great smell of a forest.  The good thing is that my cat checked it out and went in it a few times - this was the first luck I had had in months.  The bad news is it didn't last - she is back up to bad habits.  I am still using the pine litter though because it really masks other...
