suemagic says "Greasy, unhealthy ick!" about Meow Mix Hairball Control Formula

I will be honest. I opened the bad and thought wow this smells fantastic. I poured it into their bowls and they were all over it like white on rice. After a few days I couldn't resist, I decided I needed to taste test it. Granted it is still cat food and kinda gross but it was tasty too. — I fed it to my girls for almost a year and all they did was gain weight. DEespite their disappointment, we had to switch to less tasty, healthier food. —...

suemagic says "Affordable and I think it might even taste good." about Friskies Canned Cat Food

In my house ( I live alone with two cats) we refer to Friskies as Snickers. And that is because they act like I am giving them candy when I pop the top of a Friskies can. It is great that their are so many varieties, but it also made it difficult to determine what my cats liked. They are fans of loaf style and prefer seafood. They will lick the sauce of the shredded or chunked, but that is all. I don't think this is an issue because I am sure the others are liked by different cats. It is also nice that it is affordable and better yet comes in economy priced larger packs. — The bad side is just like Snickers - there is very little nutritional value, a ton of calories and not filling. Both my cats put on a lot of weight. Now there is no Friskies allowed in the house because I want them happy, but more than that I want them healthy. —...

suemagic says "Not worth the money despite the unique appeal." about Littermaid Automatic Self Cleaning Litter Box LM700

I will be honest, I bought this because I am lazy and because it seemed like a cool concept: too good to be true. I was definately right on that last one. It was fun to set up. I let it be for two days and then decided to check it out. The noise had been annoying but the bigger issue was that it left all kinds of residue in the box - thus defeating the purpose. My kitties did not like the noise and began to avoid the box. — Truly for me it was a waste of money. I guess if you have flexible cats that aren't particular it might work. —...

suemagic says "A god send when you need them." about Pet Select Pee-Pee Pads

First off, you gotta know that I used this with a kitty that would no longer go in the litter box. She began to urinate right outside the litter box. I saw these in the pet store and figured I would give them a shot. They work much better than newspaper or paper towels but still left some residue on the floor. It wasn't much, but aggravating none the less because the pads were a little pricey for a tight...

suemagic says "Keeps dogs busy for a good long time" about Kong Dog Toy

I gotta admit this is a dog toy that is almost fun for the owners. I enjoy stuffing the Kong full of different yummies that I thought my pup might enjoy. Everything from peanut butter, to ground beef to bacon bits, to cheese. And most of them were hits! I would hand my pup the Kong and off he would go for hours. He was determined to get every last morsel out of the crazy thing. The Kong was expecially beneficial as a special treat that I would give him when I was gonna be out for a while and he was trapped in the puppy room. — The only down side is that it is not fun to clean. The dishwasher was hit or miss. And by hand was frustrating. More than once, I thought it was clean but it still had gunk in it. I got worried about bacteria growth. —...

suemagic says "Litter that smells great!" about Nature's Earth Feline Pine Cat Litter (Size: 7lb.)

Ok, my cat suddenly decided she wouldn't go in the litterbox. Cat owner nightmare. I began to try anything. Multiple litterboxes. Different types of litter boxs: big, small, hooded, etc... Then I tackled the type of litter. Tried different brands of clumping. Then crystals. Then recycled paper pellets. All were very frustrating because they cost more and nothing worked. I then tried Feline Pine. The great thing is that it smelled fantastic! My house was beginning to reak, because of 'accidents' and now I would walk in to the great smell of a forest. The good thing is that my cat checked it out and went in it a few times - this was the first luck I had had in months. The bad news is it didn't last - she is back up to bad habits. I am still using the pine litter though because it really masks other...

Definately a childhood classic. Imaginitive and wonderfully illustrated. Kids can create great homemade outfits and roleplay this at home. A friends son invented his own little imaginary playmate based on the main character. Well worth...

I traded my four wheel drive for a sporty little economy car to save gas money. So far, so good. Then winter hit and I was sliding all over the road. I didn't have a clue about what snow tires to get so I trusted the tire shop guy. And I am glad. These tires are fantastic. I can pull out onto the snowy road and they struggle for a second to grip the road but then off we go. Then even do pretty well on black...
