stcin76 says "If searching your family tree, this is a good place to start." about Ancestry.com

I purchased Family Tree Maker software and got 3 months free at Ancestry.com. It was a great place to start my search. I found lots of information. It was sometimes difficult to find but very satisfying when I did. If ever at D. C. still go to the National Archives. I found things there that were not found at Ancestry.com...

stcin76 says "Be careful what you believe." about Vonage

Vonage sounded so good. I had a broadband satellite internet connection which I informed them of when I called to ask questions about their service. They informed me that the only problem that I would have due to a satellite connection was when the weather disrupted my connection. I was willing to deal with that and signed up. I had to pay for shipping of the equipment required to my house. When I received it I immediately set it up. It doesn't work with satellite broadband. Then I had to pay to ship the equipment back or they would charge me $80. They were very hard to deal with. I couldn't understand most of the people's English that I had to speak with to cancel my so called free trial. That free trial cost me about $20 and a huge headache. Stay away from Vonage especially if you have a satellite internet connection...

stcin76 says "we got a lemon" about Chevrolet Silverado - 2007

My husband and I purchased the 2007 Chev. Silverado hoping to keep it a long time. However, we have had one problem after another since we purchased this vehicle less than a year ago. Two days after purchasing it, the power steering rack went out and the truck had to be towed to the shop. They replaced the rack and the power steering pump at that time. Later the power steering pump had to be replaced again. The seat upholstry has had to be replaced because it would not stay connected correctly and the stitching came apart. The fender well liners had to be worked on about 4 times before that problem was corrected. The driver's side mirror came loose and had to be replaced. A spring underneath had to be replaced. It currently has an unidentified noise that they have worked on twice already. I'm not sure I have remembered everything, but I do believe we got a lemon!!!!!!...

stcin76 says "enjoy full size keyboard with 10 keypad" about Toshiba Satellite Laptop

I purchased a Toshiba Satellite P205-S6337. Computer wise I have enjoyed using it with a 17 inch screen, full size keyboard and 10 keypad. I did experience the computer not wanting to boot up twice and called Toshiba. They instructed me on how to remove the battery and replace it afterwhich it did start and worked fine. Since then, I've not had any problems with the computer itself. What I don't like is the operating system, Microsoft Vista. Vista uses so much RAM. I thought I was getting more until I learned that. Also, software I had purchased previously will not work with Vista. Now I must purchase more software....

stcin76 says "very satisfied from phone to camera to video clips" about LG - VX-8300 Cell Phone

This phone does everything I wanted it to do and then some. I wanted a camera phone. Camera is very good for a phone camera. It allows you to zoom in and out. It comes with a flash. And, it take good enough quality pictures that I have had some printed. I also wanted a speaker phone. The speaker phone is only average. The sound volume is somewhat low. If you have any trouble hearing, this speaker phone won't help you otherwise it's fine. The phone also has blue tooth capabilities and other features I haven't even looked into yet. Overall, I give the phone a very good rating....
