sophi says "Frees up your oven" about Ronco ST4000WHGEN Showtime Standard Rotisserie and Barbeque Oven

I was given this item as a gift, and have really enjoyed it. My family loves the the perfectly done chicken. Best of all when making large meals it frees up your oven for other cooking. While there are a few drawbacks-- the outside gets very hot and will melt plastic if left too close. I find that putting a chicken on the rotating spit can be a bit tricky, as it needs to be well balanced when in operation. Also the door is rather loose so you need to take care when handle it so it does not fall off. Although, I tend to dislike and refuse to buy anything that requires more cleanup (chicken in pyrex in the oven is much easier), I will make an exception for this this item. It does a great job. In spite of the fact that fat drips into the drip pan, the chicken is still moist and juicy with a crisp crust. — I just bought the large rotisserie that will accomodate a turkey and will use it for...

sophi says "I had no idea" about KitchenAid KFP750 12 Cups Food Processor

I used the same food processor for 20 years. It worked--so why replace it? The fact was I needed a larger bowl than my old one had, and I was tired of chop/empty and repeat. I decided on a kitchenaid as I have been happy with their products and service (I buy online, after I find a deal). I used it as soon as it arrived. Who knew food processors had improved so much? The blades zipped through the food (much faster than in my old machine). There was no need to empty the processor to make room for more, and it did just a plain better job than I could have ever dreamed. — If you are debating about replacing an old worn out food processor then do it. You will be amazed. I recommend the...

sophi says "Baking was a chore--now it is a pleasure" about KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus Series Mixer

— I am happy to leave my kitchenaid mixer on my counter. I used to store a hand mixer in my cabinet--not anymore. I now actually look for ways to use this mixer everyday. It makes baking and food preparation easy. It is one powerful machine. Clean up is also easy which is something that i look for (it can be a deal breaker for me when buying a product). I never want to be without...
