sonyainmanadams says "The best sushi around, hands down!" about Miyako Sushi - North Hollywood, CA

Miyako Sushi has AMAZING sushi... I've eaten at some of the best places at every price range in the Los Angeles area, and by far, this place is THE best!

Great service, and if you eat there often, they learn your name and offer you up special treats based on your likes!

The three sushi chefs are Frank, Cosmo, and Joe... my favorite is Frank. He knows what I want almost before I order it and makes sure the cuts are perfect and the flavor is fabulous... Cosmo is just as talented, but a bit slower... and if you want something terribly unique, have Joe "surprise" you!

I never have any problems with plates in my area, they're practically gone before I set them aside and my drink is always replenished prior to it being empty with an offer of another drink.

Best things on the menu? Wow... narrowing it down is tough enough!

Sushi Rolls: The Love Roll, Tiger Roll, and Crazy Roll are AMAZING!
Sushi/Sashimi: Jalapeno and regular Yellowtail, Albacore, Whitefish, and Halibut... YUM!
...

sonyainmanadams says "Good for the money, but it's got a few downfalls" about Compaq Presario Notebook Computer

My boss sent me this past summer (approx 6 months ago) to go get an inexpensive laptop for use at home since my previous one had been far too slow to get anything done.

For the money, the Compaq Presario was the best deal at the time... the speed, ram, size of the monitor, everything about it was perfect for my needs.

The computer, after about 4 months though (approx 1 hr. everyday use) has rough gouges in the "E" and "N" keys (my most used, apparently - and no, I do not have acrylic nails) and the middle of the touchpad is completely worn through and many keys are starting to stick (nothing beneath the keys, no food use around it, etc).

The computer from the start took forever to start up and often hangs up after hibernation, having to shut down incorrectly or allow the battery power to die off in order to restart.

After increasing the memory to 2gigs, the computer now starts in about half the time, but it's still slower than all of my family's laptops and their processors are slower and they......

sonyainmanadams says "You can't make me give this one up!" about Canon - SD900 Digital Camera

I received this camera after much research online and it turned out to be everything that I had expected and more! I bring this camera with me everywhere. It fits in my purse (and even my pocket) and takes crisp, clean photos every time... it has tons of easy to use settings, a find-tuned macro for closeups and a flash that's suitable for any type of situation!...

sonyainmanadams says "Best quality printer ever and completely idiot-proof!" about Hewlett Packard All In Ones, Photosmart Printers

I owned a PhotoSmart P1000 when they first came out, and honestly, after owning several older and newer photo printers, including newer PhotoSmart printers, the old one tops them all.

I still have and use this printer, it's amazing and just won't stop.

The photo quality is AMAZING... it prints on ANYTHING... and I've NEVER had any problems switching operating systems, much like I have with other printers. HP even had new drivers for Windows Vista within a week of Vista's release.

I'll continue using this one until it stops - and then I'll have it repaired if I can if it ever DOES stop!
...

sonyainmanadams says "NOT Vista Compatible" about Lexmark X1240 All in One Printer

This printer is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. Considered a "photo" printer, it left horrid lines through everything, even on best quality with glossy photo paper. It also only works when it wants to with Windows Vista Operating Systems... The printer CAME WITH a Windows Vista based Laptop computer, but it has never worked properly with Windows Vista, each time completing the install stating "Vista" as the OS, it only wants to work with my two Windows XP computers. Every time I attempt to print from the laptop it came with, it asks me to reinstall the drivers because they can't be located, and then when I do, the printer STILL only works about 1/10 of the time. It's not even worth the effort.

What a crock. Honestly, I purchased this particular laptop because of the printer option, I would have been better off spending the extra money on another printer instead!...
