so-cal-cutter says "Well organized with experienced instructors that care!" about Moorpark College School of Nursing - California

I highly recommend Moorpark College School of Nursing. The instructors are experienced in thier field and some of them currently work in nursing as well as teach. It's definately a challenging field of study and they expect alot of you, as they should. Nobody wants a nurse who took wasn't taught well. This school has a very high pass rate of the NCLEX and is accredited. They also try to be very understanding of unexpected life experiences and go out of their way help the students do well. I now work in a world renowned pediatric facility in the neonatal intensive care unit and sometimes the cardiothoracic intensive care unit. I'm also on the heart-lung bypass team. I help care for some of the sickest children in the country and work with some well known physicians. None of this would have been possible without the solid teachings of a great nursing school and its...

so-cal-cutter says "Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon...honest yet optimistic!!" about Dr Pierre Durand - - Thousand Oaks, CA

Love this surgeon. I'm an ICU nurse and I deal with many different doctors of various specialties. I would say I'm very particular when it comes to medical care. I expect a doctor to be a great doctor and they don't have to be my best friend. I'm willing to deal with a poor bedside manner if the doctors skill is worth it. But thats NOT the case with Dr Durand. He is skillful, patient, and kind. Imagine that!! I live about 10 miles from our local community hospital, but when I got hurt I chose to be driven 60 miles to Los Robles hospital in Thousand oaks. This is where I met Dr Durand, as he was the orthopedic surgeon on service that day. I had surgery by Dr Durand 3 days later at a different facility, Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital. I got kicked by a horse and broke my knee and tore two ligaments. It required a large bone graft and a plate with 9 screws. It was a big surgery that took...

so-cal-cutter says "Love this truck...Great to tow with!!!" about Chevrolet Diesel Crew Cab Pickup - 2005

I've had several trucks over the years including Ford, Dodge and Chevy. I've always been partial to Fords and didn't expect to like this truck as much as I do. I tow a gooseneck horse trailer anf my husband tows a heavy car trailer to car shows. We both love this truck to tow with. I especially like the Tow Mode when hauling the horses. Its great over hills. It downshifts smoothly downhill to slow the vehicle and trailer so you don't have to hang on the brakes or constantly shift like in a stick. This truck has tons of power and gets good mileage. I get 15-18mpg towing!! The ONLY thing I don't like about this truck is that the headrests don't tilt, they only go up and down....
