slbeck41 says "One of the best survey sites around" about SurveySpot.com

Survey Spot is one of the best survey sites around. They offer a lot of surveys where you don't get paid anything (you get entries into a sweepstakes) but the paid surveys you are offered more than make up for it. I just did a survey where I got $50!

The only drawback to the site is that it can take a while for paid surveys to be posted to your account. But this not a huge deal, and they are very fair and honest. If you like surveys, I highly recommend joining this site.
...

slbeck41 says "A splurge I always make sure I get" about Entertainment Weekly Magazine

I really like Eentertainment Weekly. It is fun, easy to read, and something I look forward to every week. It's surpisingly affordable too-you can get a year's subscription for $40,

EW doesn't take entertainment too seriously, which I love. it isn't a fawning entertainment magazine, and really tells you what you need to know. It doesn't talk down to its audience, and really respects that we all have different views and tastes. One bone to pick-they hardly ever review romance novels, and so many people read them that this seems like a shame.
...

slbeck41 says "Mmm-salty & cheesy" about Hot Pockets ham and cheese

I really like Hot Pockets because they are quick, tasty, and filling. The Ham & Cheese Hot Pockets are very good because they are full of Ham & Cheese. It seems like there is actual cheese mixed in with the cheese sauce, so you get those fun threads of cheese that string out when you take a bite. (I love cheese.)

The new thin-sliced ham in the Hot Pockets is tasty, but I didn't dislike the thicker ham. There really isn't much of a taste difference.

I like to dip mine in mustard-it really brings out the taste of the ham.
...

slbeck41 says "These are SOOO tasty" about Boston Market Turkey Breast Medallions

Wow-Boston Market is one of the best frozen food brands around. These turkey medallions are great. Tender turkey, savory gravy, buttery mashed potatoes-yum! They can be a little expensive, but at my grocery store, they can sometimes be on sale for 50% off. I usually stock up then....

slbeck41 says "Not as great as you would hope" about Easy-Off Bam Multi-Purpose Grime & Lime Remover

I bought this product because I have problems with hard water & soap scum. This product does not live up to what I hoped it would. It's fine at cleaning surface dirt, but it did not affect my lime or soap scum build-up whatsoever. I even left it to soak in for varying amounts of time-1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. Nothing. Since it's a lot more expensive than regular cleaners, I cannot recommend it....

slbeck41 says "Possibly the greatest restaurant ever" about Melting Pot - Whippany, NJ

I love the Melting Pot for so many reasons.

One, it's so much fun! If you're never been there, it's a fondue restaurant, where all the cooking is done right at the table. There's cheese fondue, salads, entree fondue, and chocolate fondue. You can batter your meats & veggies and stick them right in the fondue pot.

Two, there isn't a single thing on the menu that isn't tasty. My favorite is the mushroom caps. You fill them up with your choice of fillings and batter them and then fry them in your pot. (You can also get a broth fondue which tastes great, but them you can't do the batter thing.)

Three, great service! the servers really care that you are having a great experience.

The menu is extensive, and the wine list is extraordinary.
...

slbeck41 says "Great mascara-Great price!" about CoverGirl LashExact Mascara

I love this mascara almost as much as Lancome. No clumps, good wear. You can often find good coupons for Cover Girl as well, if you like to save money. It is best for every day-you might want something a bit more dramatic for nights and parties. I like the Blackest Black, but Brown Black might work better for ladies with lighter hair. I haven't tried the waterproof version.

The brush is the best! it could be a little longer, but those silicone bristles are the greatest mascara invention ever.
...
