sjbraun says "A healthy frozen meal!" about Kashi Frozen Meals - All

I have tried 3 different varieties of Kashi frozen meals. I would rate them as average. On the plus side, they're healthy - less sodium and fat than you'd expect from frozen meals. I enjoy the ease of making a frozen meal for my lunch, but dislike the unhealthy qualities of many of my choices. Kashi scores here. — Also, I found that the meals contained lots of veggies and generally tasted good. — On the downside, I thought the meals were expensive (regular price around $4, higher than comparable meals). They were not all that filling either - about 300 calories each and not a very large portion. If this were all I had for lunch, I would still be hungry. — I applaud Kashi for creating a healthy and quick lunch alternative! Lower the price, up the portion, and you'll be on the right track. —...

sjbraun says "Loving pet, good indoors and with small kids" about rabbit

We have had 3 different pet rabbits over the past 10 years. Overall, I love them as pets. They are quiet and easy. We have kept all ours inside, in a large cage in the kitchen. — Our first 2 rabbits were Netherland Dwarfs. Our current rabbit is a bit large lop-eared. All are sweet animals which our kids (ages 10,8, and 6) love. I think smaller rabbits are probably better choices if you plan to keep the pet indoors. — Our rabbits have all had health concerns of some type. The first rabbit had front teeth which did not fit together properly, necessitating us trimming the teeth monthly. This was not a lot of fun! I later learned that many rabbits with this condition are destroyed, so I am glad we could save Fluffy's life :) — Our second rabbit developed a stomach/bowel obstruction (similar to a cat's hairball). This is serious because, unlike a cat, a rabbit can't cough up the hairball. Our rabbit...

sjbraun says "Love it, love it - it IS magic!" about Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Extra Power

I love the Magic Eraser! I first tried it because I had a coupon which made it free. But since that time, I've bought countless others. It really is like magic! Most products I find to be same old, same old - nothing really new. Not this one! — I've used the eraser for many things. It has worked well for me on walls, shoes, doors, anywhere that I haven't been able to remove scuffs and marks from with other products. I often take one into my kids' rooms and just walk around, looking for something to magically erase. — It is wonderful for cleaning up white tennis shoes also. — The one downside to me is that it tends to leave a powdery residue. But if you wipe that off, I have no complaints. — The erasers do disintegrate fairly rapidly, but they are inexpensive (about $1 each) so that is not a big drawback in my mind. — Try a little magic today! —...

sjbraun says "This one product is all you need to clean your contacts." about Bausch & Lomb ReNu MultiPlus Multi Purpose Solution No Rub formula

I've used Renu for years and really like it. In the intervening years I've tried other brands if they are on sale or had a rebate, but Renu is the one I always come back to. Why? Because it does it all - cleans, disinfects, and removes protein deposits on my soft contacts. I've noticed that many other cleaners clean and disinfect, but do not remove protein deposits. If you have contacts that you only use 30 days or less this is probably fine, but since I usually wear a pair for several months, I do want protein removal also. — Another point is that while Renu proclaims that it is "rub free", I do rub my contacts to clean them - it just seems more effective to me. Again, if you wear a pair of contacts for 30 days or less, you probably don't need to rub to adequately clean them. — I don't see many coupons or rebates available for Renu, but that's probably because it's a trustworthy and established brand. Try it - I think...

sjbraun says "This product is not messy - it's the only litter we use." about Nature's Earth Feline Pine Cat Litter (Size: 7lb.)

We have used Feline Pine for years. I must add that we do NOT have a cat - we use it for our rabbit and hedgehog's litterboxes. We love it. The clay type litter was messy for our animals. This litter is made in pellets which break down when peed on. In our house at least, it does not smell and lasts a long time. A con is that it's more expensive than clay litter, but since we can leave it in the box longer without changing it, I don't think it ends up costing more in the long run. I'm also impressed with the company - they have lots of rebates available and once when I e-mailed them with a question, a "real person" e-mailed back and was very friendly. Feline Pine for our family - try it for your...
