sihanhai says "Amazing stuff!" about Dove Conditioner

I am pretty picky about my shampoos and conditioners after a experience a few years ago with those really cheap brands. The cheap stuff left residue and left my hair dry and really dull. My hairstylist recommended Dove products as the best drugstore brand (coincidentally it is one of the most expensive) and she said it would make my hair healthier. Well, I tried it and I have to say it leaves my hair shiny and soft. I always condition after every shampoo so the Dove conditioner was great. I love this conditioner and I like the gentle scent, it is fairly neutral so my male friends use it too. It really is for everyone and with a few coupons is a reasonably affordable. I stock up whenever there is a great sale and I use it year round. It is the best in the winter when the dry weather and extreme temperatures can cause extreme hair damage. This conditioner definitely leaves my hair feeling clean without damaging it.

sihanhai says "Great scent, works all day" about Dove Ultimate Clear Cool Essentials Anti-Perspirant Deodorant

I really like Dove products and I use their antiperspirant, body wash, shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis. I find that it is lightweight, easy to use and works all day. It is more expensive which can be a problem but Dove often issues coupons in magazines and in the Sunday paper insert which helps cut down on costs. Of course cheaper would always be better but you get what you pay for and with Dove products, you get high qualtiy products that live up to their brand name. I really like everything they make, I find everything keeps you moist and has a pleasant scent. It feels clean and it is easy to use which really keeps me hooked. I would recommend all Dove products to my friends and family since I think they are high quality and also easy to find. I prefer the solid deodorants but I would recommend anything from Dove. It is generally hypoallergenic so it works for everyone.
...

sihanhai says "My favorite scent" about Jadore by Christian Dior Eau De Parfum Spray 3.4oz for Women

I got this perfume as a gift and I find that I cannot get enough of it. J'adore by Christian Dior is a very simple, youthful perfume that I find it appropriate for all occasions. It is bright and cheerful without being cloying and it evokes a pleasant feeling after you put it on. It is rather expensive but the scent is strong enough that one squirt is enough for the entire day. In fact, anything more would be overdoing it. It is a great perfume for a young woman and a great gift for a recent graduate. The bottle is beautiful and looks beautiful sitting on your table at home. Dior makes wonderful products, all evoking a time gone by of romance and beauty and this is one of their best. I am not a fan of musky, complicated perfumes so this appeals greatly to me. Nothing too fussy but still elegant and sophisticated without being overwhelming. It is my signature scent now and I would recommend others try it.
...

sihanhai says "Great product, a must-have in the kitchen" about Kitchen Aid

Kitchen Aid mixers are the most amazing kitchen gadget made today. I use it for making cakes and cookies and they are always quick and easy. I enjoy using it and it is a fast and convenient gadget to use. It is pretty easy to clean and it comes with lots of cool attachments that you can use to grind meat, stuff sausage, and make pasta all using the basic kitchen aid mixer. I use the meat grinder a lot, it saves me money at the supermarkets and allows me to customize my ground meat products to get healthier and more delicious dishes out of my kitchen. Unfortunately, I doubt this mixer will become more affordable in the future, if anything, it seems that prices are rising every year with the introduction of more expensive and fancier models. The attachments can be pricey too though sometimes department stores run specials with free attachments and good discounts. I think this is a great wedding gift or moving in gift for a family member. It is the perfect gift for someone...
...

sihanhai says "Cuisinart makes amazing products" about Cuisinart Food Processor - 11 Cup Pro Custom DLC-8S

I love everything that Cuisinart makes, I have their pans and food processors the most. They are really expensive but well worth it. It can handle large quantities and can even knead bread dough. It sometimes makes some scary noises when you are making dough but it powers through everything. I use mine for making pesto, tart dough and everything else. It chops vegetables beautifully and purees like a dream. I definitely think this is an investment piece. If you like to cook this is a must-have. I can't imagine not having this gadget in my kitchen. I use it for so many things and it is just a nice kitchen appliance to look at. It is aesthetically pleasing and definitely accents a nice kitchen. I enjoy using it and would definitely recommend this product to other cooking lovers. Once you get one, you cannot imagine life without it. I love having it in my kitchen and know you will too.
...

sihanhai says "Nice for the skin" about Dove Body Wash

I first bought this body wash after seeing the many ads and commercials when Dove first launched this line. I admit it was partly due to the many coupons and sales they had as well since it is pretty expensive. I found it did moisturize my skin and it had a nice texture that I liked. Not too heavy and not too thick which helps work it into a good lather. I found good prices for multipacks at wholesale clubs and often promotions for new products at drugstores. It is overall a great product, I always trust things from Dove and I feel that they are maintaining their reputation with this bodywash. It is more expensive than other drugstore brands but with larger size options and frequent sales and promotions, I find that it can be a pretty good value. Definitely check it out the next time there is a sale, it will make your skin feel really nice. I would definitely recommend it for the dry skin sufferers.
...

sihanhai says "Great colors and texture, I love the finish" about Revlon Nail Enamel

I do my own manicures and pedicures when summer comes and I am always looking for a high quality reasonably priced nail polish at the drug store. I've tried the high end and the low end and always ended up coming back to Revlon products. They are always reliable and the color palate changes pretty often according to the trends and the seasons so I never get bored. There are always good sales on their products and I find that they are pretty generous with coupons in magazines and in the Sunday paper. I can't complain, I have probably 10-20 bottles of their nail enamel lying around and I definitely get good use out of it. The matte finish ones are harder to apply but anything with a metallic finish is definitely more user friendly. Even a somewhat inept applier like me can get a pretty shiny nail without too much stress. I like the metallic ones the best, they look like the much more expensive ones you would see at Dior and Chanel.
...

sihanhai says "Expensive but great to use" about Olay Body Wash Plus Body Butter Ribbons 10 oz

I love a good body was and when this one from Olay came out with moisturizing ribbons, I admit I was intrigued by the seductive packaging. I was not as thrilled by what I perceived as the elevated price. When I did try it after finding a good sale and some coupons, I found it was a nice rich body wash that does leave your skin silkier than before. It had a nice scent too and I enjoyed the pretty colors of the ribbons. You can use it to shave as well since it is pretty thick but that would probably be a waste of a pretty expensive product. I was pretty happy with what I got though unless they send me more coupons or I find some in the Sunday paper, I won't be spending $5+ on a small bottle of body wash. I can be just as happy with something a bit cheaper and long lasting. But if you are willing to shell out a few extra bucks, this is a pretty good product to try among the more expensive ones at the drugstore.
...

sihanhai says "Too citrusy for me" about Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Body Lotion Energy - Mandarin Lime

I really like the normal line from Bath and Body Works but I find the Aromatherapy stuff to be too strong. Maybe that is part of the therapy but I always feel overwhelmed by the scents. I don't feel invigorated or relaxed depending on what the bottle claims, instead I always feel faintly nauseous from the overwhelming smells coming from the bottle. And what a beautiful bottle it is, too bad what is inside is not as great. I also find the texture of the lotion to be too oily, this often happens with more expensive creams, they have a richer more oily texture that can be too much especially when it gets all over your clothing and bedsheets. I'm still a loyal Bath and Body Works customer, I just tend to stay away from the aromatherapy line. Maybe it is because I hate burning candles too, I'm just not into that sort of thing. But if you like citrusy scents that are really strong, this mandarin lime will be perfect for you.
...

sihanhai says "Smells to fruity for my taste" about Bath and Body Works Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Cream

I love products by Bath and Body Works so when this scent first came out I was really intrigued. The bottle was beautiful and Japanese Cherry Blossom just sounds so delicious. I was saddened to find that instead of cherry blossoms, the cream smells more like cherries. I seem to love all the discontinued scents since I still have stocks of peony and white cherry blossom which periodically appear at the semi-annual sales when they drag out all the old stuff and sell it for ridiculously low prices. I can't say that this new scent will replace the old ones but as a cream, it has a great texture and it really moisturizes. If you liked fruity scents and good lotions, this one will definitely appeal to you. I only wish Bath and Body Works would bring back some of the older scents. But I remain loyal to their creams and would recommend this one to everyone who likes cherry-scented things.
...

sihanhai says "Great value!" about YMCA Programs

The YMCA may be the best deal around. My local branch provides membership to neighboring outlets and also free classes and reduced rate massages. The facilities are great, they are constantly getting new equipment and staff. The pool is about to open and I can't wait! They have ample space and the newest equipment making it a bargain. The locations are pretty convenient and they have parking which is a big plus. Family memberships are a great deal especially since they have daycare and weekend activities for the kids. The hours are convenient for people working early and late since they open before the crack of dawn and close well after sunset. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, consistently well run gym in convenient locations. They have promotions in the fall where they waive the joiner's fee so you can get an even better deal. It is amazing to actually get more than you pay for.
...

sihanhai says "Amazingly easy to use and very cute!" about Apple - iPod Touch

I'm totally technologically challenged but even I managed to figure out how to use the iPod touch. Granted it took a quick phone call to a friend who already owned the device but I now use it with ease. I got it for free after purchasing a MacBook during the student rush period at Apple. It is a great deal, I got $100 off, a free iPod touch and a free printer, I definitely cannot complain that Apple products are overpriced anymore. I love the screen and the fact that you can connect to wireless networks making it sort of an emergency computer/email hookup when you are on the go. I use it all the time when commuting and I find that it is the perfect travel companion. I would hesitate to fork over the $300+ dollars to purchase one but for a giveaway, it was a great one. Plus, there are always free songs and TV shows to download on iTunes so that can help you save money as well. Another great invention from the people at Apple.
...

sihanhai says "Expensive but the degree opens doors" about Brown University

Brown University is a great school for those that are undecided about what to pursue in life. Students have to declare majors but only at the end of the second year and then with the option to change it at any time. There are no core classes so you can take whatever you want as long as you end up fulfilling the requirements for one major. The tuition price is increasingly expensive but the Brown diploma is well worth it. Probably the most laid back of the Ivy Leagues, it has a reputation for hippie chic and celebrity offspring. You might run into Steven Spielburg or Danny DeVito on campus and you are sure to find the children of former Clinton cabinet members. Conservatives beware! In all, this school provides a great educational environment though there are ample opportunities for distraction. Providence is a beautiful city and definitely a great place to spend four years of your life.
...
